The Land of Avalon is a freeform medieval/fantasy roleplaying site loosely based on Arthurian lore. General Appearance: His hair is black and it goes down to the base of his neck. He uses a band to hold the hair back, so his long hair won’t trouble him. He has a light beard which is well trimmed in the form of a goatee. He wears an old worn breast plate which he was worn into battle for years. It once bore various engravings but it's age has long since made the marking nearly impossible to see. Under his armor he normally wears a shirt and a pair of pants. They are both a gray color. Much of the time his decisions are influenced by his code of honor. When it comes to a debt he owes to another, there is nothing in his eyes that can prevent him from fulfilling that debt. In recent times a subject has come to trouble him, which is finding his path. He is loyal to those he deems his friends and unrelenting to his enemies. His daily life is quite strict and much of his free time is spent with training or meditation. Family Father: Mother: Siblings: Lover: Other Family: Companions or Pets: Background General History: De is a man who comes from far to the east, beyond the oceans of avalon, beyond the mountains of neighboring lands, and far beyond their oceans. It is a relatively peacfull land as of yet, the turmoil of three budding dynasties having passed years before. It was the time of the Jin Dynasty and peacefull times reigned for as short while. Zhou De was born into a family of blackmists, whos family line went back through several generations of Blacksmiths. He was the first born son of his father, and in normal circumstances he would have been a blacksmith. But as a boy, his belief conflicted with a life of forging blades. While he did have the skill to forge or atleast make a squick fix to a blade, his skill in using a blade was much better. Concepts of honor quickly snuck into his mind, which made it harder for his father to draw him back to being a blacksmith. De felt he had better things to do in his life then forging and repairing weapons, something that was just out of sight. Eventually the young man decided to take his leave of the lands, taking the family sword with him on a journey of self. He spent a good part of the journey thinking and pondering his own path in life, the path of a warrior. The Journey brought him to an unfamiliar land just breifly, a small land called Adon. He was there fo ra short while, just long enough to earn a debt from a local guard. It caused him to help the guard in his line of work while he was there. While he was there just breifly he was in the area just long enough to gain the nickname 'The Savage Eagle' Though must outside of that land have seldom heard it. After that, he spent months on a fishing vessel bound for Avalon. It wasn't exactly a smooth trip, seeing as the most he got out of it was a dislike for fish.
