The Good My'thyrian

Senriyu entered her Mistresses' chambers slowly and ponderously. Her mate, Dante, she'd left outside. Her belly was swollen with his children, and she was determined to have him only be a token influence on them. They were her idea from the start, and that meant that she was going to bring them up in the traditions of her true ancestors, the My'thyrian. Her descendants would be followers of War, willing slaves to a Mistress that would bring about change and strife unending to better temper the human race's spirit in the forges of swords and the fields of blood that would cover the land. "Mistress, I have come seeking a favor of you, O Mightiest of Deities." she said flatteringly, knowing full well that Kioku knew she was there, though Senriyu could not see the Goddess. She held a gentle, metal-clad hand to her belly as she continued. "My Goddess, I am near the birthing time of my children. I know exactly how many I shall have, and what they are to be in gender; two girls and a boy. I ask you this boon, this tiniest of favors, O Merciful Maiden Who Bathes In Rivers of Blood, that you merely stretch out your hand upon these children when they are but new-born, and bring them about to adulthood using your infinite power. In exchange, I shall ensure that they serve you as I have served you, loyally and faithfully, to await your command when you call, to fight when you wish us to fight, and to kill when you desire it." she said, adding titles one after another to her Mistress, her words echoing among the stone walls of the room, yet the My'thyrian woman did not show any anxiety. She had made her plea to the Goddess. It was up to the demon goddess whether or not she bothered to listen. |

The goddess was there. But not really impressed. There was always someone wanting something of her. The girl being a follower was her saving grace however. Of course the goddess didn't just give things away out of the kindness of her own heart. Indeed Lady War did nothing that wouldn't benefit her in the end. Looking down on the obviously child bearing girl, the goddess merely shrugged. "It seems to be all the rage these days. Folks breeding little soldiers of their own." And she was of no exception. Only she didn't know where her son was at the moment. Because she didn't care. Just like everything else she'd use her own kin when the time came. Kioku yawned, as if bored, before leaning over and looking down at the lass. "Bring them to me once they are out of the womb. Wouldn't want them to burst from your gut like the little demons kids are, hmm?" |

Senriyu blushed slightly and smiled as she bowed in the Goddess's presence. She had forgotten Kioku's rather....brusque....manner of speaking. Still, that didn't mean that she couldn't leave with at least some dignity. Plus there was the added fact that she had, in fact, granted Senriyu's request. This was a massive relief to the My'thyrian, who rather disliked the thought of having to deal with toddlers and creatures of any sort being dependent on her. That just wasn't her way. "Of course, Mistress of War. I only wished to gauge your reaction before the fact. I must confess....I have no love of child-rearing, myself. As you wish, I shall return here with my children once I have delivered them. May your fangs always find blood, Kioku." she said, sprouting massive platinum wings from her back. She could still do this much, at least, while carrying these children inside of her. Without further speech, she turned from the inner chamber and left via flight, deciding that she wouldn't bother to tell Dante where she was going to give birth. It would be better this way, she thought, if her plan was to succeed without the potential for interference from her mate. |
