A glimpse of the Soul

Dance slowly passed through the small town, she didn’t really have a destination as such, more along the lines of just wondering. Firefly and Starburst were patiently waiting back in the outskirts of the forest, or they could be hunting by now Sharlett reasoned, causing them both to shrug. And Dance, stop denying were here for no reason Sharlett pointed out with an irritated sigh. but we might not find it here, so were basically just passing through Was Dance’s quite reply. Sharlett laughed and rolled there eyes you might call them your friends, but face it, you practically have half an army of animals now... protection business is the right one, and we need to money was Sharlett’s irritating logic. |

Sabore was walking around the town, hidden in black robes and a hood. No one would've guessed he was a wolf-man unless they got close enough to look up into the hood, as he was completely covered. He's been going through cities for two reasons, one was to find a good weapon, in case he had to fight anything like those lycan hunters again. The second reason was to observe the general population of the lands, see if there was a way he could convince people in general that not all lycans were the evil creatures they were labeled as. Through the village he traveled, wondering where the smith was. He wasn't looking for any ordinary smith either, if he was going to get a weapon, he wanted a strong one, one that could last a very long time and many battles, especially since he didn't know how many more were ahead. He didn't like fighting, but he's been in situations where there was no other solutions, so he needed a weapon. |

It was Sharlett, the suspicious natured one of the two that caught sight of a stranger clad from head to foot so nothing of him could be seen. Wonder what his business is Was Sharlett’s thoughtful response to seeing him Not our business Dance replied shortly, turning there gaze away so not to appear as through they were staring – which they were. come on, we have a job, as you keep reminding me Dance softly pointed out.

Sabore looked around the small town, and it took a while, but he finally spotted what seemed to be the town smith. He started walking up to the shop, keeping his head down so his face isn't seen. He walked up to the smith, and he was in luck, there were a few weapons on sale. Sabore picked up a sword and inspected it, the craftsmanship was good, but it was common. It didn't stand out to the other types of weapons he's seen, it wasn't 'great'. he hoped to have it easy and find great craftsmanship in a town or city somewhere, but this wasn't the place he would find it. He put the sword back in place and began walking around the town some more, secretly watching the people that lived and visited it at the time. |

With Sharlett’s endless curiosity bugging her, Dance could not help but peek at the stranger out of the corner of her eye, wondering what he was up to. Finally, out of curiosity she changed her path and walked and over to the stranger who obviously had something to hide. Not just because of Sharlett’s curiosity, but also a general want to see if she could help, being a kind-hearted soul and all. “Hey there” She murmured gently when she was close. |

Sabore was almost surprised to see someone speak to him, but he supposed it may have been the curiosity of the unknown that brought the woman to do so. He should have figured that by keeping so much hidden, it would be likely for some, but very few, people to come to him and maybe even ask. "Hello." he replied. He kept his response short, he didn't really want to attract attention, but he wasn't a rude person either. He would answer questions and have a conversation perhaps, but he probably wouldn't reveal himself to anyone. |

Dance, keeping Sharlett in cheek, gave the stranger a friendly smile as she offered her hello. She received a short response and titled her head in curiosity, she wished she had her companions to sniff him out, find out what secret he hide by that of his scent, she could tell this because they acted with distrust to any humans who could never tell the full truth, aka had something to hide. What Dance did no know, was that he was about as human as she was. “What brings you to Littlewood vilage?" she asked the stranger

He's lived in this forest for a year at least and has never actually seen this village. He thought for a second, and returned the question. "What about you, what brings you to this place?" |

Sabore raised a brow at her response, even though she wouldn't see it. He knew much about the forest himself, living near it for years and in it for one. He knew much about the dangers of this forest, and he could see this young woman making a profit helping those that would need protection, and a guide. "Interesting. I could see some good business headed your way with that line of work." He paused for a moment and quickly cleared his throat, since it seemed they would be conversing for a while, he may as well let her know his name. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Sabore Selas. May I ask yours?" It would only be polite for them to know eachother's names while having a conversation. |

Dance gave a light grin at the man’s words, that what she wanted to hear... only, she had gotten no evidence of that of yet. He introduced her name and the Soul tried to hide a wince, this was always the confusing part. “Good to meet you, Sabore, you can call me Dance or Sharlett”She offered, there, let him mistake one of them for a last name, because she was hardly going to just leave her friend out. “Do you know anyone interested in traveling through the enchanted forest?” Dance asked hopefully. |

Sabore was curious as to why she gave him two very different names to call her, he supposed that perhaps one was a nickname. He then listened to her question, and thought for a minute before replying. "I'm afraid I don't know anyone at this moment, but if I hear anything I'll be sure to tell them to come to you." he felt a bit disappointed that he couldn't help her anymore than that, but he really didn't know anyone at the time. He looked around the village, at the buildings and people. His goal was to find a way to help these people understand that not all lycans were murderers as they were usually labeled. The biggest part however would be convincing the king, and leaders of other cities. It was part of his reason for joining the pack of others similar to him, their goal was the same, but achieving it wouldn't be easy. Unfortunately, he had a feeling the hunters at the tavern wouldn't be the last time they would be attacked either. Such peaceful groups as the one he is in was met with violence because of what they were, it was sickening. |

Dance gave a slight nod in response to Sabore’s apology – he didn’t know anyone she could help. But that was okay, she would come across someone soon enough. Sharlett then pushed forward, there silver eyes faded to brown and she changed there stance slightly to a more casual look. “What’s your deal, anyone, shady?” Sharlett mused, rather bluntly. Not just the way she spoke, but even the tone she spoke it in was different to that of the sweet and kind Soul. Dance simply mentally rolled her eyes in response to Sharlett. |

Sabore was surprised to say the least, not only was her question blunt, but he could hear the change in the tone. He figured that perhaps the two names weren't because one was a nickname, but that she has a split personality. He's seen such a thing before, so it didn't startle him too much. "Let's just say it's a... complicated situation." He didn't want to actually say it, mostly because he was unsure of what her reaction would be. Even though he's done nothing but calmly talk to her, there was always the chance she may judge him anyway. He didn't want to take that chance, especially while there's others around. |

Sharlett laughed and gave a casual shrug in response to Sabore’s words. “Each to there own” She then offered, falling silent as she glanced about at the people walking through the small town. “You human?” Sharlett bluntly, but curiously asked. “I’m no stranger to the supernatural... I’ll tell you why if you tell me something of what you know of the supernatural?” She offered, she was going to ask all the questions shady people hated... until she fell on a nerve and he gave an obvious response to spark her attention. |
