Flash of the Lightning Strike allowed her massive wings to carry her through the darkening sky. In the glisten of the newly rising moon her glossy blue scales sparkled like a thousand diamonds and shone a strange shadow on the trees below her. The dragoness of the sea tilted her long and shinning wings, sparkling in a moist dew as through she had just been swimming, as she lowered herself to the ground, her shinning scales falling to darkness as she vanished beneath the trees. She gently folded her wings to her side and curled up on the damp grass. Closing her shinning blue-silver eyes the dragoness took to sleep. |

Hack. Slash. Hack. Slash. This was tiring work. The forest was especially thick in this part of the wood, and the dense undergrowth refused to yield any ground without a fight. Hang on. Fight wouldn't do. Long protracted warfare would probably be a better description of the effort needed to bore a hole large enough to allow the perprator to squeeze through. Sweat glistening on his skin in the filtered forest light, he finally got to a clearing in the forest. Noticing a stream of pure water, he drank deeply of it's well. Then he noticed the dragon. It was a magnificent beast, with scales the colour of the sea that seemed to attract the damp water of the lower canopy. And she seemed to be sleeping. Walking carefully and lightly around the magnificent beast, he suddenly felt an overwhelming desire to just lightly touch her beautiful scales. |

Hack. Slash. Hack. Slash The sound buzzed by her ear like an annoying fly, disturbing her dreams of the open plain called the sea, of dancing in the moon light, splashing through the waters edge. Hack. Slash. Hack. Slash A non harmonies sound besides the gentle lapping of her dream-sea. The long flap of skin by her neck twitched in response, trying to shake of her annoyance. And then there was the feel of eyes upon her scales. The dragon slowly opened one lapis-lazuli eye – a shine of blue and calm silver, to glance directly at the intruder. The sleepy dragon remained silent. |

Fighting the desire to touch her, Äelindis continued creeping round her, hoping that he was not making a lot of noise. Holding on to his right hand, because he couldn't trust himself, he was just coming around her when he stopped. One eye was partially open. And it was one of the most beautiful sights Äelindis ever saw. Most of his usually strong willpower crumbled there and then, and then got crushed by a mortar and pestle into nothingness. |

The dragoness raised the eyebrow of her open eye in amusement at the curious creature that stood there. It was humanoid, obviously enough, but it wasn’t human, one of the throw off species then, maybe? Not a vampire... ah, an elf. The dragoness decided. Why did this elf disturb a sea dragon? She was curious to know. “Hello, child” She murmured in her water-gentle tone, it seemed to be rather intently looking at her shinning, dew-glossy scales, a replica of a calm sea in the glisten of the day. |

Äelindis jumped at the sound of the dragons voice. It was unlike any voice he had heard before, but it clearly resembled the lull in the weather out at sea. He liked it. It was gentle and caressing. Then he realized that he was falling under again. Trying to summon all the willpower he could muster, he managed to stutter out a few dismembered words. "G-g-greetings, D-dragon of the Sea." He immediately regretted saying those words. She, or at least, he thought it was a she, deserved more then that. He felt like a wave was crashing down of his head, forcing him deep under away from the air. |

He replied, rather nervously it seemed, and called her dragon of the sea. Flash gently rose, and dipped her head at this. “My name is Flash of the Lightning Strike, and yes, I am a Sea Dragoness” She murmured gently to the humanoid figure she had worked out was an elf. “Are you quite alright, young elf?” The dragoness of the sea continued, her sea-gentle voice rumbling slightly in amusement, this was a wise elf, for him to be weary of a dragon, she was, after all, whale sized, taking up most of the empty clearing. |

The elf was amazed at the magnificent figure in front of him. This dragonness was reminding him that beauty comes in many forms. At least he got the she part right. Flash of the lightning strike? Fitting name for one of such majesty and beauty as her. Then he got back to the problem at the back of his mind. First, what was a sea dragonness doing so far from the sea? And second, what was she doing to him? He decided to try his luck with the first problem. "And what brings a sea dragonness of such worth and beauty as you so far from your native element, Flash of the Lightning Strike?" |

The dragoness gave a gentle rumble of laughter likes waves crashing against the shore. “I am an explorer, child, I am travelling the world, and what brings an elf so deep into the forest?” The dragoness asked gently, she snaked her head forward so that it was a meter from the elf, her forked tongue darted in and out, tasting the air about the stranger, learning his scent. |

Äelindis froze. The dragonness' head was slithering forward, and was almost up to his face. Half of him knew that he should run away, but... those eyes... He couldn't tear himself away from them. They just seemed fixated on him, and if she looked at him out of the depths of those fathomless pits, just like the deep ocean, he had to stand still and look at her. "I-I-I am a forest elf, beautiful one. I n-need to get across this forest to reach T-t-t-trevena. I need to be there." |

Flash let out a gentle laugh once more, this elf was amusing, he certainly seemed afraid, yet did not even flinch or look away. He praised her, as well, called her ‘beautiful one’ “Trevena, child?” She mused thoughtfully, and a slight smile filled her blue-scaled face. “Would you like a ride, child?” She asked gently, her teeth forming a wicked smile s she waited to see his reaction, he was nervous enough being in front of her, what would he think of a ride? |

Äelinidis' face looked shocked at the thought of a ride. Was she serious? It would be absolutely unforgettable if she was. Hang on. She might be beautiful and kind, but she was still a dragon. Would she devour him in a feeding frenzy, or would she just go on with her promise. In the end, the temptation was too much to resist. He always wanted to ride a dragon. "A-a-are, are you s-serious?" |

Flash Strike let out a gentle laugh and puffed out the scales were her neck and back meet, in the likes of stairs. “I’m always serious” She joked teasingly, wondering what he would make of that, her sparkling Silver-blue eyes regarding him as she spoke, he had stammered as he spoken, and the dragon had to admit, it was amusing. |

Äelindis tried not to laugh. Honestly. He couldn't help himself. He laughed, then put his hand over his mouth as if she would curse him badly for his indulgent merriment. "Y-yes, in that case, I would love to f-fly, with you. I-it would be an honour." He hoped that she was still regarding him as something to toy with instead of as a future lunch. |

As the elf laughed, the Dragoness opened her mouth, stretching it into a wide grin, and showing diamond hard, deadly sharp teeth, yeah, she was toying with him. “Then come on” She ordered, pointing her head towards the scales at the base of her neck that resembled stairs, her lapis-lazuli eyes showed boredom over the fact that he was still standing there. Is was a good thing he didn’t know she hated to eat humanoid creatures – to many bones, to skinny. |
