Anglas. Lydia sighed in relief that she had finally reached her destination. The surrounding environment was far from inviting, and Lydia had been making her way around it for quite a few days now. The next morning, she would leave for Drakenfeld by boat, but the first order of business, for now, was finding an inn.

Vittorio squeled when the salty air round him was too much for him and he crawled down into Lexi's pants pocket to hide. Giggling to herself, Alexia gently patted the mouses head and kept walking. Such a strange place this was indeed. Smelled too much of salt. Enough to burn the eyes and nose, she thought and wrinkled her nose to stop a sneeze.

"Question is dear mouse, how in the world can somebody get used to a place as this," she whispered and heard the creature squek.

Lydia was fine with the cent, but didn't particularly care for it. The darkening sky and the small houses made the place seem completely deserted, save for a few people walking the streets (most of whom, by the way, appeared elderly). The sand on the ground had an odd texture, as if one was walking on a sinking ground.

"Oh look," Alexia exclaimed. Besides from all the elderly people, she spotted a young woman with brown hair and green clothing. Hurrying without any further delay, Alexia tried her best to not just appear by the girls side. She hated that some of her actions screamed out what she truly was.

Damn sand, she thought as she did as much as she could so she would not sink into the ground. "Hello," Alexia said softly as she reached her side.

A sudden thought came to mind. How in the world do I appear to be like when I approached the girl? Quickly she looked down at herself. She wore her favorite pants that wear of black material wear only tightened at the sides of her legs and exposed a line of flesh. Her leather boots hugged over her knees and hide her dagger and katars. Her belt held her whip, chakram, and rapier. Her chest was snugged behind a purple and gray corset. Most if not all of her outfit was hidden by her cloak, not to mention her head was still under her hood. I look like an assassin if anything with this much weapons, her mind groaned.

As Lydia continued to walk, she carried on trying to find an inn. Not much further down the first street of the town, she was approached and greeted by a cloaked woman with black hair. "Oh, hello," she replied with a cordial sort of smile. "Hey, you're not from here, are you?"

Alexia smiled when the girl replied back then asked her a question. Oh goodie! Someone friendly to talk to, she thought.

With a small blush, Lexi shook her head, "No, I am not from her. I am from the Enchanted Forest. Are you from here," she asked curiously as she felt the little critter in her pocket move around.

"I'm not from here either," Lydia replied. "I left Trevena about three and a half months ago." She involuntarily took in a bit more of the salty scent that seemed as if it was saturating the place. "So, Enchanted Forest. Are you from Littlewood, or another part of the forest?"

Trevena? I think I've been there before, Lexi thought and felt the wind pick up and toss some sand their way. Coughing at the smell and inhaling the salt she replied gently, "Another part of the forest, it's close to Littlewood though. It's mostly unknown to those around their. Our village keeps to themselves mostly. I believe I once traveled to Trevena once. Well actually, I take that back twice."

Again she thought on how many times she was there and then remembered she was being rude, "My name is Alexia. What's yours, if you don't mind me asking?"

A village that keeps to themselves near Littlewood in the Enchanted Forest. Lydia was thinking to ask a bit more about the village that Alexia was from, but thought it would be more polite to introduce her own self as well and leave that for later. "I'm Lydia. It's nice to meet you."

Alexia smiled. "The pleasure is mine," she giggled as the mouse in her pocket began to nudge her for attention and reach into her pocket to show him to Lydia. "And this little fella, is Vittorio."

With the albino creature in her hand, she let him out to squeak his hello and allowed him to be petted if her wished.

Lydia smiled softly. "I take it you keep a lot of pets, then?" A mouse- that was an uncommon animal for a person to keep with them. Lydia speculated that Alexia was probably very interested in animals of all kinds if she would travel with a mouse as one of her companions.

"Oh no." Alexia laughed gently. "Just two. Vittorio here. And my puppy, Tobias. Have you any pets to call your own," she asked politely as her little mouse moved up her arm with such speed that it looked like he was a little white blur which halted on her shoulder.

Alexia had left her undead pup, Tobias, with the busy love of her life to help him around the tavern. It's been only a few weeks, but she missed them both so very dearly. And her albino mouse, was given to her as a gift from the festival she had taken part in practically a year.

"I'm afraid not," Lydia replied. "I don't think there's ever been a time where I looked after an animal, actually. There are times where I can barely look after myself as it is." It wasn't just that Lydia wouldn't want to put an animal through that, but... really, she didn't get along with animals very well either.

Alexia looked at her for a long moment. "If you don't mind me asking, why is that? You don't have to answer it. By nature I just am very curious," she blushed. Her curiousity was a huge one indeed, the only way to satisfy it was to answer it or research it any way possible.

"I mean it not hard. On my travels, I've journeyed almost everywhere with my puppy," she explained simply.
