Whistling lowly at the sight before her, Alexia gazed at the ruins that kissed the heavens. It was the most unique places she had ever been to in all her travels. Surely she would have to stay here longer to remember this place. Birds began to caw and the vampyre made her way to the steps and stopped shortly when she made notice that it was most like a wall than a step. Thinking quickly on how to make her way up, the wind blew her cloak around her and revealed her tight black leather pants and white shirt with puffed sleeves that she borrowed from her mate. Her belt, which held most of her weapons at her hip. And her boots that hid her dagger and katars from sight. Her hood stayed seated on the top of her curls and she turned to see if it would be better to run then jump up onto the step to get to the next one. Slightly thinking it through, Alexia stepped back a good distance from the step. When she was she was at an angle that made her think again, she heard footsteps and she glanced to see the newcomer. |

A wickedly curved scythe blade came hurtling up from below to anchor itself in the ruined stones of Varigal behind Alexia. Shortly afterwards, a diminutive hand, then a head, then the rest of a body followed, wearing priestess's robes and looking very disgruntled. "Dad, if I find you I'm going to give you such a talking-to about where to build secret bases....OH HEY A PERSON! HI THERE!" she muttered to herself before seeming to notice the other woman for the first time. Picking up her scythe, she casually slung it over her shoulder with one hand and walked up to the older, taller woman, looking her over for some reason. "That's odd...you resonate with his aura for some reason. Excuse me, miss. I'm Sul'arai. You can call me Sula. I was hoping if you could tell me something. Have you met a man with purple eyes, a slightly crazy disposition, and blue hair? He'd be about two feet taller than me, carries around a lot of dangerous items, wears robes?" With that odd introduction, Sula stared intensely into the other woman's eyes, apparently searching for some sort of information she was certain the vampyre held. |

Morgana had grown up in the forest that wasn't too far from these ruins. In fact, she had even been here a time or two. After everything had happened. Scaling the large stone steps helped to keep her mind on something other than the nightmares. These ruins were more often then not deserted, the rumors of giants keeping all but the most brave, or incredibly stupid, away. This night she had been plagued once again by the reminder of her lost husband. And after having woken in a cold sweat, she had set out for the ruins to occupy her mind. She had quickly scaled the first step remembering exactly where the cracks and crevices were in it. She had made her way towards the next when she heard a scuffling behind her on the first step. Someone else was trying to climb it. She slipped into a shadowy alcove to give herself cover so she could stand back and watch. A man alighted and continued on. Still Morgana held back, making sure that there was distance between them. Just a few minutes later, she heard the exchange between the two below. She stepped out of the alcove and stood atop the step. "I didn't meet him, but I saw him," she told the younger of the two. "He continued on," she said, nodding in the direction in which he had disappeared, "into the ruins." |

The Crazy Woman of Your Wildest Dreams

Lily was happy to be done with her fresh kill and meal on man flesh. Now all she needed to do was wander the ruins she once visited when she was a wee babe and look for company. Noticing the sun still high in the sky, the girl began to walk towards the steps she was determined to climb when she first laid eyes on it. Smiling to herself, Lilianna was happy to have choosen pants to wear for the afternoon. It would have been hurtful to her to see her precious skirts and dresses ruined by attempting to climb. A mans coat hugged her arms and waist largely but shieled her from the horrible rays that would damage her skin. Her red curls were pulled up into a ponytail and her blue gaze looked over to the ruins and found two females talking in a distance, and another female watching them from a step up. Tilting her head to the side, Lily curiously watched them and convinced herself to try to join their party. Forming into the shadows of the tree beside her, her form darkened and faded into other shadows and finally stopped at the shadow behind the women. Making her original form piece together, she waited to walked out and greet the strange and beautiful ladies. "Hello there. I'm lost," her eight year old voice stated as she glided her eight year old body towards them. |

The young teen that appeared by her side shocked the sunlight out of her and she let her gaze wander around them. She had mention her father to be around her somewhere. No man appeared to be near, well at least to her. Quickly, she gave her attention to the girl. For some weird reason, the little miss named Sul'arai. "Oh, hello, dear." She spoke of an aura and was momentarily confused and listened carefully to her next words. A description of a man was explained to her and her eyes widened slightly as her mind flashed to an old memory in her past. Andumi? "I have met him long ago. It's been a long while since we were in each others company. If you don't mind my asking, why do you search for him," she asked curiously then heard a female voice from the other side of them. Looking to where the new voice came from, she noticed an older, but not by much, woman with blue eyes. Nodding to her, she asked, "Thank you for giving us the information, Miss?" A child like voice startled her and Alexia jumped and turned around to reveal a red-headed girl behind her. "Where are your parents, little one? Are you here by yourself," she looked back to the older woman and gave her a questioning look that practically asked if she had seen from whence she came then looked to Sula and smiled. "I've been a little rude, haven't I? My name is Alexia, or Lexi for short if you like." |

Sul'arai looked around at all the people that suddenly showed up. Normally, she was extremely friendly to everyone she met, but now that she had a definite lead to the whereabouts of her father, she wasn't in the mood for making friends. "He's my father, Miss Lexi. And I intend on finding him, and forcing him to be a proper father to me. That's why I'm out here. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be continuing on alone before the giants find us." she looked purposefully in the direction in which the other woman indicated. "Oh, by the way. I thank you, miss. I'll be sure to reward you appropriately when the time comes." she gave a tiny curtsy to the woman in question as she tied a rope to the end of her scythe's handle and tossed it up like a grappling hook to anchor itself in the stones of the next level up. As she began to climb, the earth seemed to shake a little. The massively armored form of a giant, rare even in their own ruined city, appeared out of the failing light to bear down on the tiny My'thyrian with a blade proportionate to his size without a single word of warning. It didn't seem like the little girl had a chance against the larger creature. That is, until she seemed to burst into a negative flame of what appeared to be cold energy. The flames that froze everything they touched flowed down the haft of her scythe to make contact with the giant's sword, freezing his own blade as well as she let her power flow outwards with a determined look in her eyes. "Turn back now, Virgin Harlot. You must not meet your father. This has been decreed by the Powers That Be." the giant spoke in an immensely deep, gravelly form of Common. The tell-tale signs of ice were slowly growing up the blade of the giant's sword as the small girl held him at bay. "Oh yeah? And why might that be, giant?!" she grunted as she began to push him back. "You must not meet him now. Only later. When you do meet each other, it will be at his death. This is what the Powers have decreed. If you try to advance any further, many more creatures far stronger than I will await you. There will be no chance of survival, should you go alone." the giant's arm was now starting to look like stone as the cold began to freeze the humanoid's flesh solid. If one thing could be said in his favor, it was that he did not cry out once. "I don't care what sort of lies those whores who dare to come between me and Daddy try to say; I'm going to make him acknowledge me as his daughter, and that's final!" with a sudden rush, she shoved the giant's frozen sword away to make a mighty leap up to his wrist, dashing up his arm to behead him in one swift stroke from the shoulders. As the body began to topple, she calmly bounced from the giant's shoulder in midair to jump from a sequence of flat-topped broken columns as if they were lily pads and she a small frog. Then, too, the negative flames of icy cold had vanished as well as she calmed down and left combat. |

Morgana paid little attention to the small child that joined the group, instead she focused on the one that had been searching for the man that had passed her. He was the girl's father, and a poor one at that. She could certainly relate. Her own father hadn't been able to handle his life and had left her as well, though she had been grown by that time. She smirked as the girl mentioned giants. There were no giants here, it was simple rumor. Then the girl turned her attention to Morgana. She raised an eyebrow as the girl spoke of a reward for the simple information that she had provided. "Very well," she replied as the girl curtsied to her before leaving them all behind to stare after her as she continued on her way. And then world itself seemed to shake. Morgana held to one of the large stones beside her as she searched for the cause. Her eyes widened in alarm as she saw the giant approach the little girl. She made to step away from the stone pillar to remove the girl from harm's way, but then something very strange happened, and she froze mid-step. This child was certainly not all that she appeared. There was a great force housed with in that little body. She frowned as the giant spoke to her. The Powers that Be didn't want her meeting her father? What sort of rubbish was this? If she continued there would be stronger creatures than the giant to face her. He hardly seemed a threat to her. She wouldn't be able to survive alone? Huh. Fancy that. A challenge. But the girl would not be persuaded otherwise, she was quite adamant. The sheer agility and power that the girl possessed were remarkable. The giant was dispatched quickly, as if he had only been a minor nuisance instead of a large being that could have squashed the girl in one step. As the girl deftly maneuvered her way back to the ground, anyone who cared to look at Morgana would have seen that her eyebrows were dangerously close to joining her hairline. It took her a moment, she regain herself, and then she addressed the little warrior. "Not that I agree with him. But you might need help finding your father. If you wish it, I'd be willing." Upon hearing the offer to help Sula find her father, her expression immediately lightened up. "What? Really? Sure, I'd be glad to have your help!" jumping from a great height, she landed improperly, snapping her legs with an audible *snick* as bone protruded from her flesh. Her mouth made a silent "O" as she fell to the ground. "I'm okay...messed that landing up, obviously. Hold on, I'll be fine in a second." she said in a businesslike manner as she snapped her legs back in to position, watching the aether that filled the universe invisibly come rushing in to repair her damaged body. In few moments, she was perfectly fine again. "I can thank my Daddy, Andumi syr Reignas, for creating me the way he did. Thanks to him, I can destroy anything that comes between us. Especially those bad women he keeps around him all the time." she said cheerily as she slung her scythe onto her back. Walking up calmly, she took the hand of the woman who had offered her help. "C'mon! If we're lucky, we might get to kill a dragon! Wouldn't that be cool? Ooh, or maybe a giant...uhm...thingy! Yeah! It'll be fun! Daddy will be so proud of me when he finds out I fought off all of those servants just to get at him." |

Wactching the other girl as she climbed up a step and face a giant, a smirk played on Anna's lips. That girl is going to bloody get it, if she doesn't be careful. Silently she looked up to the sky and heard a bird cry, "A man dares to walk the ruin steps to the top, he's mad! A man with purple hair is mad." "Where does he find himself now, bird?" Lily asked as she contacted it's mind. "Up," it cawed, "On the fifteenth step he climbs his away, speaking to himself it seems." "Thank you, bird. You've been of great help." "Caw, caw. Here he's on his way to the eighteenth step!" Tugging onto the woman's cloak beside her she spoke up, "I've just been informed he's making his way up fast. He's on the eighteenth step as we speak. If you would like, I could join you and help you with the guide of the birds wandering eyes," she then stepped forward her hand still holding the womans cloak who names herself, Alexia, and as if by being dragged she walked with her to the duo on the steps. |

So it was Andumi, she thought. This is his daughter?! My God. Such a darling little child and yet, she is of him? Looking up to the girl with a more curious eye as she watched ice freeze into the giants blade, Alexia was about to tell her to get away when she remember of the wild mans strength. If Sula was of his line, surely she could handle this by herself. Slowly she watched as she behead the creature and smiled. "She is her fathers daughter," she said to herself. Then a horrible landing happened to the little miss and she looked away so she could get the image out of her head. She spoke in thanks to Andumi and glanced back at her leg to see it was perfectly fine, not even a scar touched her. An annoying tugging caught Lexi's attention and she looked down to remember another smaller girl was in their presence. Rapidly she spoke about the other girls father, says that he is moving at great speeds to reach the top. Then again, her cloak was pulled and to not have her flesh kisses by the sun, she walked with the child to the steps and helped get her on the step to join them. "I knew your father, Sula, maybe I can assist on helping you get his attention? I am somewhat of a slave to him," she admitted shyly. |

Sula narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Alexia all of a sudden. No longer was she a friend. Now she was a potential rival for her beloved father's affections. "You didn't lay with him, did you?" she said flatly, almost angrily. Then she shook her head. "I'm sorry, that was a rude thing to say. Thank you, all of you, for offering to help me," she bowed apologetically, "I'd be happy to have all of your skills at my disposal. Oh, that didn't sound very grateful, did it?" she smiled awkwardly as she held a hand behind her head, scratching it for lack of anything better to use as a nervous habit. "From what I can remember of Daddy's information on the subject of the Ruins of Varigal, I think the remains of the giant culture's knowledge should be much farther up, in their library. It was called the Sanctus Libram...or was that the Indreans? Either way, it doesnt matter now. IARA'LUS! C'MERE, BOY!" she said before turning to the sky. With a flash of white suddenly appearing seemingly out of nowhere high above the clouds, a large bird suddenly plummeted down to Sula's level, landing perfectly on Sula's outraised arm. She petted the albino falcon happily as he gave her flesh a slightly admonishing peck, managing to draw a bit of blood that was quickly healed up again. "Iara'lus. I want you to meet some new friends of mine. They're going to help me find Daddy, okay? I want you to go up towards the Sanctus Libram of Varigal and report back to me whether or not Daddy is there. If we find ourselves in trouble from a land-bound enemy later on, do you think you can run interference?" she ordered him. The raptor took a solid look at each of the women, dipping his head to them and extending his wings in a sort of court bow. Nipping at Sula affectionately again, he took off with a cry to vanish quickly among the white fog clouds that formed higher up on the ruins. |

Morgana visibly grimaced at the girl's bone-breaking landing. It had surprised the girl just as much, though she seemed unworried. And astonishingly she healed herself quite easily. She spoke lovingly once again of her father. Morgana smiled sadly. And the girl did something that Morgana certainly had not expected, she reached out and took her hand. For a moment she stood there, staring at the little hand in her own. She didn't really know how to react to it. She had never had children, or even been around them really. But the childlike enthusiasm made her smile. The other young woman approached them with the other little girl holding to her cloak, announcing that she might be able to help. She was the father's slave. Then why are you not with him? Morgana found herself wondering. The girl who held her own hand immediately jumped to the conclusion that the young woman had slept with her father. Morgana's eyebrows raised in curious amusement. This child seemed wise beyond her years, or at least her tongue was. She immediately apologized though. She seemed rather awkward as she continued to address them. Morgana had to wonder just how much contact she usually had with more ordinary people when in the pursuit of her father. She speculated that her father would most likely be found in the library. Then she called down a large white falcon. As she explained to the bird what she wanted, it looked in turn to each of them, extending its wing and dipping its head as if it were a courtesan. Morgana was a bit taken aback. Birds didn't do that. "Your bird, little one, is unusual. It acts as if it were a person," Morgana commented as it took flight to disappear into the fog surrounding the upper part of the ruins. |

Don't touch me wo-Lexi. I can get up mysel- uhh nevermind, Anna thought as she struggled to climb the step and finally used her whole hands to help boost her up. Once on her feet, she reached out for the cloaked woman and helped her up, as returning the favor. "Thank you," Lily beamed and jumped around them with loads of energy. A slave huh? This is very promising. A laugh purred into her mind. Such lovely women. Oh who to claim first, I can only wonder. Lilianna thought as her eyes gazed up and down all the females around her. Suddenly, the other girl around her own looking age, asked Lexi angrilly if she had screwed her father. HA! Another whore in this group besides myself! This is just a classic. Almost immediately, Sula, apologized then began to make arrangements on finding her father. Quickly she called forth a grand animal of great wings. Introducing them to the creature, it stared at each other them and bowed gently as if it were a well-mannered gentlemen. Shocked, Lily gazed at it long at watched it ascend into the air with orders to attend to. "My my, that was certainly unexpected. A pet of yours, I take it. If not, I am sorry if it offened you," Lily smiled brightly and skipped to the other girl, slightly more than fasinated in her. |

Alexia gladly let the young child help pull her up to the rest of the group. Once she was able to be up on her feet, she was attacked by a sudden question that shocked her. Her face must have displayed uncomfortable once Sula asked. She hadn't slept with her father but they've kissed many a times, as his way to make her fall into his trap of making her bound to him. She apologized not a moment after and Lexi relaxed some. Calmly but still slightly shocked, she answered her, "No dear, I've never laid with him. Surely you would know if I had. For I would be with him if I had done so. No, no. I have a mate of my own, and an adopted daughter to care and love for." Glancing to everybody in the group, she wondered if they believed her. Her eyes stopped when it reached the other woman. What did she think about her answer? Did she believe her? Did it matter? Yes. Alexia never liked to be accused of something she hadn't done and what others thought of her. It was evident that Andumi's daughter isn't really a people person. It seemed that she was more used to talking to those she had authority over than those of the free. But she never thought on it more when she said that her father was kind of expected to most likely found in the giant's library. Without out further delay of that statement, she called forth someone. Or something. Then a bird, No, a white falcon, landed on her outstrecthed arm. Filled with wonderment, Alexia tilted her head and watched the falcon as the girl introduced them and gave him orders. Iara'Lus, Sula called him, then looked at everybody in turned and bowed it head as it were human. Stunned yet again, she gazed at the bird. In a way, he reminded her of her Tobias. "I must say that, your falcon is beautiful, dear Sula," Alexia said silently as he flew up and back into the clouds. |

Sula looked up at the massive golden clouds covering the expanse of the sky and smiled distantly. "Yes, he is, isn't he?....He was a present from my father when I was born, you know. He knew I wasn't able to be of much use to him when I was only newly-formed, so he made Iara'lus from some clouds and pretty-looking magic stuff. Sometimes, when Iara'lus isn't around to hear me, I call him Lucy behind his back." she giggled mischeviously as she returned her gaze to the three females who had agreed to help her. She focused on Lexi for a moment, smiling a strangely mature smile of understanding and acceptance. "That's great, Lexi. I'm so glad you have a family." Then she turned her attentions to the task at hand. Frowning slightly at the number of stairs they would have to climb, she grabbed her scythe once more, this time swinging it with one hand back and forth idly as she examined the stones for apparent weakness. The corrosive substance traveled down the haft of her scythe and gathered itself around the tip of the blade as Sula swung it widely over her head several times before bringing it down with a mighty slash. The powerful acid ate through the very rock and stone of the mountain itself, creating an even slope carved straight up to the summit of the giant city. Sul'arai bounced on her heels, pleased with herself that she had managed to summon the power she actually had wanted to use. "Did you see that? How cool was that, huh?! I actually did it! I managed to control my power for once!" |
