It had taken her so completely by surprise. But ... that was the point, wasn't it? An ambush, that's what it was. Little did she know that this lone stretch of dirt-packed highway was a hunting ground of killers and thieves. Once again it seemed by a stroke of ever present bad luck she had wandered into a thieves' haunt. She was not followed by the ever present companionship in a hound, Levi. He had gone off on a new round of exploring the wilderness. It had occurred this time of year, for the past two years she'd been traveling. Koralle could only determine that perhaps even a hellhound needed to find a mate and raise a pack of his own. It was this she was speculating as she rode the horse steadily down the path. The few trees at the roadside filtered the dying embers of sunset, and Koralle urged the animal onward. She had wished to get to a camp or some form of civilization before nightfall. However, it seemed as often was in stories such as these one does not always receive their fondest wishes.

From one of the smaller trees, a brigand had leapt from the branches. He landed atop the girl on horseback, effectively knocking her out of the saddle and into the dirt. This was obviously a well planned and often practiced move. Before Koralle could draw her sword, she was forced to grapple in attempts to gain an advantage over her attacker. His weight was too heavy for her to dislodge the man, and at last he gained an advantage over her. Deciding she would be unable to draw her sword, Koralle had just begun to call out a spell when the man's hands at her throat silenced her. Three more men had come strolling out of the shadows, two claimed her startled horse and all her belongings upon its back. Just as her vision was beginning to blur, the man let her go and stood. He stepped back a pace, seeming to reflect over something. As one of the others yelled at him that it was time to go, he proceeded to drag Koralle into the woods.

She could only imagine the horrors that would await her if he had succeeded in disarming her and carrying her out there. The realization of what sort of things happened to women in this sort of situation stirred a new strength in her. Though the rest of the group yelled into the forest for the man to return, they eventually gave up and began divvying up the loot. Of course Koralle had very little in the way of wealth, so it was mostly a spare set of clothes, food, a bit of money, and random odds and ends they would receive. The horse though, was a good strong animal, he would fetch a far higher price than anything else Koralle may carry. As the two were finally out of ear shot of the trio, Koralle turned in her captor's grasp. Swiftly drawing the katana from her hip she brought it in a weak slash at the hand gripping her wrist. Their position made it difficult to get any real technique in, but the attempt was enough to throw the man off.

With a curse, her aggressor drew his own blade, the two handed sword glimmering with some sort of enchantment. It would take some difficulty to take down, but she'd be damned if she would give in now. For several minutes they simply exchanged blows. The heavier sword giving Koralle opportunity in manners of speed, but the strength when it did clash against her own jarred her shoulders enough to made the combat difficult. She got in a few slashes, however they were mostly superficial cuts at arms and legs, not enough to bring the man down. He was a more skilled fighter than she gave him credit for, being a bandit and all. Koralle was only injured from her fall and the choke hold right now, and she had gained a fair amount of confidence in her fight thus far. Perhaps a bit too much confidence, however. As the man leaned over his blade, pausing to catch his breath, Koralle did what no fighter should ever do. Assume their opponent was down for the count. She stepped forward, too close, bringing her blade in a final slash to end the fight. It was life or death, and this was one instance that she would not feel guilty for defending herself in combat.

Far quicker than she thought possible with such a heavy blade, the bandit lunged forward with the glimmering weapon. Effectively cutting through her exposed defenses, Koralle was unable to bring the katana round to parry the blow. She could feel the thicker blade tear through flesh and fabric, the stinging pain enough to cause her to drop her own blade. With a hissing intake of breath, a hand instinctively clasped against the wound. The man stepped forward for a deathblow, or perhaps simply aiming to further injure her so he could continue whatever plans he'd had previously. Stepping past his blade and into his personal space, she brought her opposite hand round. A single word would be spoken before the dimension slash spell burst from her open palm. It was all over for him.

Koralle leaned over to retrieve her sword, struggling to place it back at her belt. The wound she had received was dangerous, but not a death blow. However she knew she would be incapable of further combat. Survival was key, but she could not even bind her injury to stop the bleeding without some form of bandage to care for herself. So, slowly, carefully, she edged her way back to the road. Perhaps the other brigands had given up and left their friend to his own ends. She could only hope as she strained her ears to listen to the men back at the road. Reaching the treeline, she turned to lean against one of the trunks. A sharp pain at the back of her neck registered for only a moment, before she hit the dirt.

How long did she lay there, at the roadside? She didn't know. But when she awoke it was dark and cold, the blood staining her shirt along one side. What was once dark green fabric was reddish black with blood. Koralle realized too why the weather seemed so much colder. She had been stripped off all but basic clothes. Her belt and scabbard gone, the fancy coat and boots taken, even what little means of jewelry she owned were stripped. Koralle had been left in the dust to die. Composing herself after a few moments, she slowly regained her feet. Though pained and still bleeding, she forced herself to stand fully. Stumbling towards the site of the attack, she poked trough the grass for something, anything, that might have been left behind. There was nothing, and so she was left to trek the dusty street alone.

By some small miracle, there was a little roadside tavern just outside the forest. And by that same miracle she had made it to the place, up the stairs, and a hand clasped upon the door. It flung open, a no doubt shocked but somehow familiar voice calling out her name. She couldn't speak, far too tired to offer any explanation to her state. Hurriedly the tavern owner took her to a room, gaining the aid of a few employees and anyone with capability of first aid. By the time the night was through Koralle had received all the possible care she needed, then slept until the next afternoon. Upon waking she found herself properly bandaged, dressed in fresh clothes, and completely recalled what happened the night before. Koralle knew she should probably rest more, but she could not let those thieves get away with it! Besides, the longer she waited the more hands her belongings, and the horse, would pass on to and the further away they'd get. She was far from the materialistic type, but several stolen items were sentimental to her. And the horse, (his name was Alberich) could fall into far less kind of hands than Koralle's. She would, of course, feel quite guilty if he was subjected to some sort of cruel master.

Checking her injury with as much slack as the bandage would allow, Koralle took stock of her condition. It etched just along the ribcage, deep considering her lack of any real noticeable muscle or body fat. Koralle had not trained her body for combat or anything of the sort. The blow could have been far worse however, and she knew it. Getting properly dressed, and getting out of bed, Koralle began the trek downstairs. The building was a solid wood construction, with two floors. Tavern at the bottom, and inn at the top. It was rather large in that it stood alone from any other city places of business, and even had its own stable for horses of the guests. Koralle paid little attention to the decor however. Her main thought was a simple one, she was very thirsty. Making sure to not look too disheveled, she re-closed the last button of her shirt. Descending the stairs and reaching the bar, it was only mildly crowded given the out of the way location, Koralle climbed into a seat. The older lady working the current shift recognized her from the night before, and promptly gave Koralle a glass of water. Koralle muttered a thanks, surprised at the harshness of her own voice. Some water however would fix that, and a bit of time. "Ah dear you look a sight." She nodded at the words, before glancing from her water and looking to the man speaking. Ah, she remembered him now. He used to work at the Horseshoe in Avalon City (now Trevena). But he transferred ownership and went out to start this own business elsewhere. It seemed this was it.

"Dad would be ashamed of me..." She muttered, feeling quiet sorry for herself. Studying her glass for a few moment, she was about to scowl at the various cuts and small bruises but was further distracted by the older man's voice. "You know better than that." Koralle merely nodded, before finishing her drink. "Besides, you're not the first. I'm just glad you came out of it alive." Her attentions sharpened at this. "You've had a problem with bandits, here?" With a solemn nod, the bartender handed her another glass of water, and went back to his work. The rest of the day was spent recounting the event yesterday, regathering her strength in good food and drink, and redressing the wound at her side.

By evening, a sign had been posted. On the tavern door was a call for a few brave fighters to assist the young woman in retrieving a few stolen goods, and take care of the bandits that had been lurking the streets nearby. The financial reward would be small, but whatever was found on the bandit's camp was fair game. Not to mention free room and board at the tavern for anyone offering to assist. As well was a healer requested, if one could be found. Otherwise any able bodied warrior was welcome to apply. Koralle was not aware of the arrangement until it was too late. As she had been sitting at the bar with a bit of supper when people started asking questions. The bartender had stepped in to intervene, but after awhile he had work to do. He did help however he could though, at least long enough for Koralle to be capable of figuring things out. A handful of people had come and went, but a few were rather shady characters that Koralle would rather not put to such a task.

Growing tired as the evening wore on, Koralle began to doze slightly as she leaned against the bar counter. It would be some time before she fully recovered, given the nature of her injury. The server had to give her some tea before she felt better. Sipping her tea thoughtfully, Koralle rested her heels on the bottom of the chair, and waited.

He wanted to say that it had been random chance that had brought him to this particular town at this particular time. Of late he'd taken to wandering without any planned purpose, never choosing his destination in advance and just letting the road take him wherever it went. Despite his lack of effort in this regard, he was starting to think that fate was still taking a hand in his life, sending him places where he was needed without him realizing it until afterward.

At least that was how it seemed to him sometimes.

A sign on the local tavern door calling for men to help a young woman in need had seemed right up his alley, but when he stepped through the door and saw who sat there waiting by the bar, the sage was more than a little bit surprised.

"Koralle?" He asked, walking slowly up to her with a dumbfounded look on his face. As he got closer, his eyes took in her less than pristine condition and he quickly put two and two together. "Good heavens, what happened to you?"

With Mag having been gone on the job she had taken in that manor a ways off, Akire had found that he had plenty of time to travel about and do as he pleased for the time being. He couldn't bare being at home when the home was empty and Tal knew exactly where he and Mag lived. If the man showed up without Mag there to ground Akire, it was highly likely that he'd say something inexcusable to the man. Having Mag mad at him for being harsh to her friend was about the last thing he wanted to do.

Akire had been busying himself, for the most part, reverting back to his old ways. He traveled about and helped those he could. It gave him a sense of purpose while Mag was gone, and sometimes it earned him a little money. He never expected the wealth, but he appreciated it nonetheless.d

Akire had wandered up to the tavern. As much as he loved his brother and the path he had taken in his life, he just needed some time to himself for once. When he hadn't been with Mag, he had been with Lonan helping him with his situations with the establishment of the pack he and the pre-ordained alpha of the pack had started up. It was all a chaotic, hectic mess, but he supported his brother and the idea behind it. Akire paused at the door of the tavern at the poster posted on the door.

He raised a brow as he read the words, and a slow smile formed on his lips.
"Here's one for old times sake." He murmured as he pushed into the tavern. He shouldered his way through the crowd, finding the tavern owner and ordering a drink. He asked the man to direct him to the person in charge of choosing the group to take care of the criminals in the area. He pointed directly to a rather battered woman and Akire felt his ire rise. No man had any right to harm another. No man had any right to harm any woman. He narrowed his eyes but then turned back to the owner and thanked him before shifting to the crowd to make his way towards the woman.

There was already another man beside the woman speaking to her, and he seemed to know her. Akire paused a moment and politely waited for the two to finish speaking before he finally introduced himself.
"Excuse me, but I couldn't help notice the sign posted up on the door. The Owner instructed me to come to you." He said, bowing his head in respect towards the lady. "My name is Akire Hunter, and I'd be more than willing to help you." He said sincerely.

Hands cupping round her tea, she got more comfortable in her chair. Leaning wearily against the back of it, she sipped her tea. Her eyes closed for a moment as she took in the soothing warmth of the brew. When she opened them again,it was to a familiar vice speaking before her. Of all people, Koralle had not expected to actually find someone she knew here. Lowering the hot mug for a moment, she cleared her throat with a minor cough. "H-hi Jian..." She really did not want a friend to see her in such a state. It was ... sorry above all else. Her gaze drifted for a moment as she seemed to try and make up some excuse. Anything that would not hint to her having trouble. Koralle didn't like people to worry about her...

"I fell off my horse." She almost gave a dry laugh, but thought better of it on account of a sore throat. Absently, a hand left her tea and rubbed at a small cut on her cheek. "Bandits ... I guess. They took me by surprise before I could even draw my sword. But they took that too." As she was in conversation, she missed catching sight of the tavern owner directing a potential aide her way. By the time she had finished giving her brief explanation of the reason behind her state, the man was beside them. Koralle was not used to so much attention, but it was one of those things that had to be done.

Picking up her tea again, more as a means to have something to keep her hands busy, she shifted sightly in her chair. As the man spoke, she seemed to be looking him over, studying him. He was not like those who had asked about the job before. Thus far all others seemed more in it for money than to be helpful and that just made Koralle nervous. Never know who might turn on you when it came to mercenaries only out for the highest wage. This guy sounded far more sincere to her. "Okay. Thank you."

Chasing the tail of a dogma
Alex had nearly forgotten how nice it was to walk about and explore without a pack of assassins on his heels ready to torture and kill him. Lately, if it wasn't one thing it was another, from angry dragons to deranged demons. And while he was on the move at this moment in time, it was at a slow, comfortable pace of his volition, and he wasn't simply running helter-skelter searching for a good hiding spot. The freedom to stop and rest as he pleased was another luxury Alex wasn't used to, and he indulged in it frequently.

It was during one such rest stop that Alex began to conclude that today wasn't going to be as peachy keen as he'd thought.

Half-dozing at the foot of an oak, his hands folded behind his head and the spellbook leaning against his hip, a man wearing a dark, heavy cloak despite the weather weaved through the trees towards him.
Wary, Alex waved a hand in friendly greeting and said, "G'day mate."
The stranger said nothing, but ten feet away from Alex he lowered the hood of his voluminous cloak, revealing a smooth bald head, and neatly-trimmed black goatee and mean-looking beady brown eyes.
He smiled down at Alex, making the younger man instantly suspicious.
"Hey kiddo..." the man finally said in reply, eyeing the ornate tome. He then smiled wider, and seemed to be reaching for something under his cloak. "You wanna see a dead body?"

Figured.

Alex blinked a few times. "Ummm... no." He then suddenly launched himself forward, pushing off the trunk of the tree he rested against to crash into the legs of the bandit.
With a yelp of pain and surprise, baldy went down hard.
Alex then swiftly rolled to his feet and grabbed his spellbook running, the bald bandit's angry screams and threats of a painful death following him down the road.

Could he ever have a day where he wasn't on the run from someone or something? Sheesh!

He didn't stop running until her eached a small roadside tavern, and for the next few minutes took up residence beside the door as he caught his breath. Therefore, he was in a perfect position to peruse what looked to be a newly-posted sign.
Now, Alex isn't the vindictive sort, or the type to go bounty-hunting, but the thought of baldy out there gunning for his blood sent a shiver down the young shaman's spine, along with a small flare of anger; no one should have to live with the fear he'd just felt. Anyone who preyed on those who could not defend themselves was just asking for karma to come back and bite them in the ass - at least in Alex's humble opinion.
Besides, there was a monetary reward, and free room and board for any who joined the merry group of bandit-bashers. Free! And with a stout party of warriors behind his back, Alex didn't think he could feel any safer. Thinking his luck maybe turning around after all, Alex smoothed out his hair, straightened his long coat, and tucked his spellbook under his arm to - hopefully - give the appearance of a seasoned spellcaster, and entered.

The damsel in distress was easy enough to locate. The battered-looking young woman speaking with the two large, capable-looking men couldn't be anything but. Alex held his head high with a confidence he didn't feel as he approached, introducing his presence with a casual wave and hello. "Hear you're looking for some brave souls to bring justice back around here. The name's Alex, and I'm a shaman."
He neglected to mention that he was a shaman who had yet to learn any magic.

Onir had been traveling for about 5 days sleeping under the stars, and decided to spend the night at a tavern. Before leaving Trevena, he had stolen the coin pouch of a particularly wealthy person. Somebody carrying that much money on their person at once was just asking to have it stolen from them. Upon waking up and sleepily walking down stairs he ordered a black cup of coffee and sat down at a table to think out what he wished to do...

He could probably afford to board in this tavern for a little over a couple weeks if he wished to blow all of his money, however this wasn't his plan. He had heard of bandit attacks in this area, and wandering around with his newly acquired coin pouch isn't something he planned on doing either. He overheard talk about an injured woman being attacked by bandits and taking residence at this very same tavern throughout the morning, as well. She apparently was looking for a party of willing warriors to dispose of the local bandits, and the reward for helping was free room and board.

A few people had pointed out a rather abject looking girl saying things such as "That's her, that's the one...", and he had seen rather shady looking people offering their services throughout the day, most, if not all of which were presumably turned down. recently he had seen a small crowd gathering around her. He noticed one man that looked vaguely familiar in build and hair color walk to her, as well. After a bit of contemplation, Onir decided to offer his help. All the current people talking to her looked quite capable, so it would be more or less like just follow these guys, watch them slay a few bandits, get a few stabs in himself and reap the reward.

Onir stood up and made his way through the tavern. He made sure his dagger was visible, as it was a very beautiful looking blade, with an equally beautiful looking hilt and perhaps make him look a bit more up to the job. He walked up to the small crowd of people and said,

"Hello, my name is Onir Mandarus, and I would be much obliged if you allowed me to offer you my services, Miss. Hearing about your attack left a very bad taste in my mouth. I could track them down for you, as well as infiltrate their camp and provide you their numbers once we reach their camp. I am also skilled with the blade and swift on my feet. I can hold my own in the ides of battle."

As he listened to Koralle's story, Xue Jian stepped closer and gently laid a hand on her shoulder, careful to avoid jostling her and causing her pain. She'd certainly gone through enough of that recently. It was quite strange, the things that happened to people while you were apart from them. For example, he wasn't at all sure of how to explain what had happened to himself since she'd last see him. Perhaps when they had a more appropriate moment, he could try.

"At least you're alive," he commented, giving her a reassuring smile, although something was slightly off about how he'd said it. "Anyway, since I'm here, know that I will help you in any way that I can."

Before she could reply to that, three more men appeared by one by one, each answering the same call that he had. It was the first one, however, that caught Xue Jian's attention given that they had met before, although he took note of all their names on general principle.

"Do you remember me, Akire Hunter?" The sage asked lightly. They had only really met the one time at Lonan's tavern and they hadn't spoken much. It wouldn't surprise him if the man didn't recall. "My name is Xue Jian," he began, introducing himself to the others as well. "I'm a friend of Koralle here, as well as your brother Lonan."

To Alex and Onir, he gave an appreciative nod. They both seemed like they earnestly wanted to help, but he would let Koralle say the word to accept or deny their services.

Akire inclined his head towards the woman and took a step back from her, giving her her space. The poor woman seemed frazzled beyond belief. He couldn't blame her. She had likely been through a lot if her wounds were any sort of sign of it.

What kind of man could do that to any woman? What kind of a man must one be to have no moral standards and no foundation of beliefs? Women are strong in this day and age, but the wrongs that men have commited against females will never balance even with the rights and strengths they are gaining now. He thought to himself as he watched on for a moment.

He was shaken back to his current thoughts when the man who introduced himself as Xue Jian spoke up again. Akire gave him a fond smile.
"Ah, yes." He said, holding his hand out for the other man to shake. "As I seem to recall, it was the opening night of Lonan's tavern. He wasn't overly enthusiastic to see me at the time, and I hope he didn't give you a hard time because of it." He said genuinely. "Lonan and I have become much closer since then, so in a sense, I suppose I have you to thank for it." He said with a sheepish smile.

Akire turned as two others made their way towards the small gathering. He looked at the young shaman, raising a brow in question. He sensed something more of the man. He sensed some other stronger power within the young man, but whether or not he had control of his power was yet to be discovered. He shrugged it off and turned his attention to the second of the men that had just come along. He listened witha raised brow as the man listed his good qualities, but didn't make a comment, letting the woman decide on who she did and did not want to take on this little escapade. Somehow, in the back of his mind, he had a good feeling that, of all the people present, Jian and himself were likely going to be the more grounded of the two.

Then again... who was he to judge?

"Thank you, Jian." She exhaled slowly, before returning to her tea. Scarcely before the words finished, a duo of more prospectives arrived. Koralle paused to take it all in, only sipping her tea as they spoke in turn. She gave them the same cautious and studying gaze as the first man. Though she considered herself no expert judge of character, she was not discomforted in their presence as she had been with those she'd 'refused' previously. Draining her cup of tea, she lowered it to the counter and gave it a nudge aside.

Koralle didn't know what a shaman was, but he carried a spellbook so it must be some sort of spellcaster. The other man must have been some sort of tracker or scout, judging by his offering of services. That was all she needed to know. After being quiet for a moment, she nodded. She didn't have to recount in order to decide this was all she needed. The bigger the group the more complicated things would get, and more chance for folks to group up and trouble to start. Koralle wished to keep things as simple as possible on account of never needing to hire a group of adventurers.

She briefly motioned over the tavern owner. "I appreciate all of your help." Turning to the bartender, she told him the sign could be taken down now. He glanced to the assembled group a bit skeptically, giving Koralle a look as if to ask if she was certain. She nodded, yes she was. After the owner left to take care of the sign, Koralle slowly stood from her seat. "You can all eat and drink as much as you like, and the stay for tonight is free." No doubt the case would be different if she was not already friends with the owner of the place. But she didn't feel much like talking or giving out a bunch of information. She was tired, and so she bid them farewell until morning.

In response to Akire's comments, Xue Jian shook his head humbly. "You give me too much credit, Akire Hunter. Your reconciliation with your brother was due to your own efforts. I was just the door man for the day." The sage gave a light grin at that, but his levity was diminished when Koralle got up to excuse herself for the evening, having accepted Onir and Alex as well as Xue Jian and Akire for the job. She briefly explained that their food and board were on the house before bidding them farewell, and Xue Jian made a mental note to do something about her injuries before they got to doing anything serious. For now though, bed rest and her body's natural healing would have to suffice.

He watched her until she was no longer in view, then he followed her progress by the feel of her spirit. Despite all that she'd been through her spirit carried on, strong as he remembered, but once she reached her room he stopped tracking her, instead directing his attention to his new found companions. Akire, he knew was reliable, but the other two were unknown factors at this point. Wait. Scratch that. Alex was the unknown factor. Xue Jian suddenly remembered Onir from when they'd laid siege to Castle Indrea under the command of the Knight of the Realm, Arkantos Halimar. He didn't know much about the fellow other than his face, but the fact that he'd lived through that siege, fighting against all manner of dangerous creatures, spoke volumes for his skills.

"It's good to see you again, Onir Mandarus," he said in greeting.

Onir watched the woman as she left into the sleeping quarters of the tavern. All the while thinking... Not of the task that he and his new companions would have to complete, but of what he wished to drink. The woman had said that everything would be free, and Onir planned to take full advantage of this. Drinking alcohol would not be a wise idea the night before raiding a bandit camp. Tea... tea sounded very nice. The highest grade of tea that this tavern had to offer seemed like a suiting order. Onir was about to speak to the tavern owner to order a cup of tea when suddenly somebody spoke to him.

"It's good to see you again, Onir Mandarus,"

Onir looked at the man who said his name. He seemed to be oddly familiar. He appeared to be in his thirties with narrow green eyes. Onir had to think for a moment where he had met this man before.

"Ah! Yes, nice to see you, too. The Siege of Castle Indrea, correct?"

"Ah! Yes, nice to see you, too. The Siege of Castle Indrea, correct?"

Xue Jian nodded. "Yes, Castle Indrea," he replied in the affirmative. It had been a strange battle, involving all sorts of creatures, a dragon, and even war golems, but that was quite some time ago. Long enough for wounds to heal and bad memories to fade, at least a little. "What have you been up to since then?"

The sage decided he would use this time to get to know his new comrades a little better. It paid to be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of any group, and the stronger the comradeship and understanding between them, the stronger they would be as a whole.

"What have you been up to since then?"

Onir thought a moment for the appropriate response,"... Well, not very much. I'm a Traveling Bard, by profession, so not very much happens to me on a day to day basis. I guess, to be truthful, that's a little bit of the reason why I chose to help to raid the bandit camp, to spice up my life just a little bit."

Akire chuckled at Jian's comment.
"Well, even still, I'd like to take the oppertunity to thank you for not turning me back around and booting me out the door." He said, his amusement quite evident.
Akire absently heard the conversation that ensued from there, but he didn't pay overly much attention to it. He was too busy surveying the area around him and mentally preparing himself for everything he'd need to gather and repack before they left. He wasn't sure how long they'd be gone, but if there was one thing Akire liked to do when it came to a mission of any kind, it was be prepared.

He preferred to take caution and plan things out, thinking over every probably solution and reaction to their attack before he went headlong into it and it spun out of control. He made a mental list of things he'd need and things he could disregard, but in general, didn't really say much. He simply stood by and waited to see if someone else would speak up, or if he'd be left to his own devices.

More than carbon and chemicals.
Something as simple as returning to her room seemed to take forever. The cut to her ribs was going to take some time to heal, she was beginning to learn. Could she even go on this journey? She was beginning to worry ... No. No. She'd go. The pain didn't matter. Well the personal affects didn't matter either. The principle of the thing was what mattered! Besides, someone needed to put a stop to these attacks.

After a brief pause at the stairs on the way up, she completed the trip. Her room was close, and when she reached the door she simply shut it behind her. Checking the bandages once to make sure they would suffice for her sleep, she went to bed.

))Warning post before the next one is the next day. So finish up your conversations and I'll get this quest started. xD((
