The clean air of Bards was taking its mark on the human. He took deep breath after deep breath. Never had breatheing been such a luxury to the boy. Birds flew over his head and small, newborn rabbits, swarmed his feet. Thorne didn't bother kicking them out his way. A waste of time. He thought as he walked over the mother.

As the boy walked into different shops and looked around for a few minuts, he realized the entire area was filled with elves. Thorne never had the best feeling towards them, but he decided not to give a reason to be harmed. He walked to a stand that was selling, what it looked to be fruit, and purchased something red and sphere-like. The elf serving him was speaking a completly different language, so Thorne simply pointed then handed a few gold coins to the man. At least it looked like a man. As the human walked out the store, he bit into the tomato. Juice and seeds rushed into his mouth. What the hell is this shit?

Aklixxar wandered through the elf infested town, they were the words the elves. Thinking themselves higher than all other races, but they bled just like the rest did. Nothing would please him more than to kill every last one of them in the area, and he wanted to, very, very badly. The sound of a voice broke Aklixxar out of his day-dream, in just enough time to walk into a human.

"Watch where you're going, runt."

The human's guarded shoulder flew back as creature barked something. He squinted his eyes at the man then scratched his head. Runt? Pretty ironic coming from a lizard. Thorne thought to himself. I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going sir. Thorne threw his tomato behind him and kept on walking.

A man rushed to the human then grabed him by the shirt. He screamed at the top of his lungs at Thorne and cursed him out. The boy simply laughed in the guy's face. Thorne took a second to think of what could happen, but pushed it out his mind as he slammed his forehead into the human's nose.

The human turnd around and noticed the drunk had friends. A few to many for Thorne to handle by himself. He ran back from where he had baught the tomato then stoped to catch his breath. He looked behind him to see six men running towards him. Oh shit.

Aklixxar started walking again, the greatsword on his back swinging slightly as he walked, a strange thought passed his mind. "Even though that human saw me without my cloak he was not afraid or agressive."

A man's screaming gave the Crimson Scale a pause, and he turned around to see the human he had run into being yelled at by a drunk. The Human Aklixxar had an altercation won some of the Lizardman's respect when he drove his head into the other mans nose, cracking the bone for sure.

Looking to the other direction the Crimson Scale was another six men running towards their fallen friend, all of them had weapons. With a slight growl fomr the back of his throat Aklixxar turned and clicked his armored claws together.

Five men ran past the Lizardman, the sixth was not so lucky. Aklixxar took a step forward and snapped his tail at the man's legs. The unfortunate Human was lifted from the ground, the gauntleted claws of Aklixxar crashed down to meet the poor soul's neck. The stone road cracked from the force.

The Crimson Scale drew his greatsword and held it alof with two hands, slowly sdvancing on the reamining five men.[/i]

From the corner of the human's eye, he watched the lizard person he ran into, clip the man to the ground. So, he's on my side? Note to self. Don't hit the lizard, he has a tail. Thorne quickly looked around for a blunt object to use. He swiped a small hammer that was used for making armour, then turned to the angry mob. He shrugged then wiped the sweat from his forehead.

The men got a few feet infront Thorne, before the boy kicked the nearest on in the chest. The very second his foot touched the dirt, he slung his hammer into the same man's right shoulder. Hearing the shatter of bone brought worry about the man's family, but was awakened when the group inclosed him. Surrounded by four men, now, Thorne had little choice of things to possibly do. He could fight, he could run, or he could drop to the ground and play opossum.

It was decided. The human gripper the blacksmith hammer for dear life then swung wildly. He felt it hit a few times, but saw nothing due to his eye being closed. He opened his eyes to see one person holding their arm while the others laughed. Shit...

The Crimson Scale stopped, lowered his sword and crouched down. From the monsters maw came a roar so loud that it hurt his own ears. The four men turned around and froze in place, that was the first time they had seen Aklixxar. Taking out the dagger that he had behind his back he let the thing fly, and it dug itself into the neck of one of the men.

With a leap Aklixxar landed on another one of the men and sunk his teeth into the mans face. The humans screams were silenced as soon as the Lizardman crushed his skull, and with a jerk of his head the mans face was ripped off. Aklixxar stood with blood dripping from his jaws laughing, the remaining two men were struck dumb.

Thorne watched as the creatured laughed and blood dripped from its jaws. Do I run or do I just shit my pants?...The human thought to himself as it became difficult to breathe. He held his chest then took a deep breath. Thorne looked up to see the men stunned. He took the moment to charge.

The human threw himself at one of the men and brought the hammer into the back of his head. The last man turned around as he heard his friend drop like a rock with a nice "Thud."

As the last man sprinted at him, Thorne smirked chucked the hammer into his chest. Once the hammer bounced off him, the boy slammed his armoured shoulder into his stomach. He grabbed the hammer then with a swift, death strike to the face, the man was motionless.

When the men dared not to move, Thorne walked up to the lizard. He showed no emotions then looked into the creatures eyes. In a split second, a smile exploded on his face and he began jumping up and down. That was amazing! Who taught you that with the biting?! How did you learn how to fight like that?! Thorne laughed then backed up. Seriously, now. My name's Thorne. You have my thanks, Mr. Lizard.

The Lizardman was slightly impressed with what the human did with a small hammer, he himself had found a large hammer under a paving stone and used that. However the fight wasn't what he planned and the man he was fighting took his eye."Dralero my friend, I have not seen you for a while." There were places Aklixxar had not seen on his wanderings.

"My name is Aklixxar, I taught myself how to fight and when you have the natural weapons like I do you know what to do by instinct. What is your name runt?"

The Crimson Scale said this with a smile that showed his sharp teeth, still slightly red from the blood he had gotten in his mouth. He could tell the man was an amateur fighter, but made due with what he could get. An inspiration to many weaklings he could be, and an apprentice to the Lizardman perhaps?

Runt?...Like you even care for my name. Thorne raised an eyebrow at the Lizardman then shrugged. Thorne. The human watched as Aklixxar stold infront him. Deffinitly taller and most probaly stronger. The idea of asking to be his student seemed far'fetched, but it was there. Before he could ask, screams and crys came from a inn that was across the street. Huh?

"Thorne, interesting name" Aklixxar's thoughts were broken by the sounds of screaming from across the village. The Lizardman was going to let the people die when an arrow slammed into his left shoulder from behind. With a growl that shook the windows of the butcher's shop that Aklixxar was standing next to he spun around, looking for the source of the arrow. A man on a horse was holding a bow, his face went white as he saw the monster he had struck.

Without thinking Aklixxar shoved his fist through the window of the butcher's shop and grabbed a large knife. The next thing the poor bandit knew was that he had a knife sticking out of his neck and horse was bolting off towards nothing.

"Stay close Thorne you may learn something!"

Just as Thorne was about to charge with his new friend, he notcied a famliar thief in the distance. He changed directions and chased the man down. It wasn't until Thorne was a few feet from him that the man saw what was coming. The boy threw himself into the man's waist and dragged him to the ground. He put his forearm on the theif's neck. Where's my sword?! The man spoke in a different language or was speaking jibberish. Either way, it angered Thorne.

The man quickly pointed a small wagon after a few punches and elbows to the head. Thorne nodded to the man before he cracked his neck and sprinted towards the wagon. The wagon had a blanket over it, but it was easily thrown to the ground. There it was. Thorne's greatsword.

Once the human caught up with his lizard companion, he nodded then pulled the sword from it's shealth. He remembered how much of a pain in the ass it was to pull his sword out. It was great to hold it in his hands again, though. Thorne decided to join in the fight. He ran into the group of bandits then slammed the blunt side of his sword into a man's back. Before a different thief could turn around, Thorne rammed the edge of the sword through his body. The human pulled his sword from the dieing man then slung his sword over his shoulder.

The Crimson Scale watched from the corner of his eye that Thorne had found a sword equal to his own in length. The weapon looked to be steel, as opposed to Aklixxar's Mithril. Thinking about the sword he held in his claws the Lizardman looked down, to see the blade discolored with blood, a smile spread across his lips.

"Do you see this?!" He yelled out to the Bandits, "There will be more."

Charging forward with sword held firmly in both hands Aklixxar stood back-to-back with his new friend. "He's not bad for a novice human." A few flicks of his tail and the beast was lunging forward, his right hand held the sword and the left shot towards his enemy, claws open. The steel crashed into the leather armor of the human and punched through, shattering ribs and drawing blood.

Tightening his fist the Lizardman lifted the human over his head, and brought him down hard enough to snap the unfortunate bandit's back. Two men charged Aklixxar at once, hoping to catch him off guard. The Crimson Scale planted his feet and placed his left hand on the flat of his sword, at the last second before a sword came crashing down on his shoulder Aklixxar's arms lurched and the men were caught in the midriff with enough force to throw them back.

When he laughed it was stopped short, a throwing knife buried it's blade into the monster's left shoulder then followed by two more. Another two planted themselves into Aklixxar's forearm as he tried to defend himself. The monster looked at the man who was throwing the blades, content that he had drawn blood. The Lizardman picked up the dead body of the man who's back he broke and used him as a shield.

Bending his knees he was able to get most of his bulk behind the body-shield, but the human was insistent with the knives. Aklixxar's mind was racing, trying to think of something to do to get the human to stop with the annoying knives, then he saw where the man's foot was located.

The monster's fist slammed down, onto a steel rod that was placed in the road so that the stones did not crack because of the changes in the seasons. The end of the rod that Aklixxar hit drove deep into the ground, and the other end shot upwards, tipping over the humans foot and stopping his barrage of knives.

Standing back to back with his new mentor, Thorne imagined them two running off and taking on armies. They would be victorious and leave without a scratch on them. Instead, Akilxxar charged and Thorne got hit in the back with a huge rock. What the fuck?! The human screamed as he turned the where it came from then hurled his seventeen pound sword.

As you can imagine, it only went a few feet, but luckly thats where the human stood. Rather than the blade devoue him, the hilt hit the man in the chest. The bandit flew a foot or two then held his chest in pain. Shortly after, the same bandit was tackled by the angry and somewhat crying Thorne.

After recovering his sword and kicking the body a few times, the boy looked around to see who was left. He saw his friend fighting the bandit that he ran from to get revenge. The human had to take a double take when he noticed that Akilxxar was using the bandit's friend as a meat shield. Just as the boy was about to sprint to help his lizard friend, he discovered a few bandits were leaving different building to jump in the fight. Oh hell no!

Thorne charged and slammed his shoulder, and the rest of his body weight, into one of the thiefs and knocked him to the ground. As a bandit was turning around to see what had just happened, Thorne's greatsword impaled the man's stomach. He ripped his sword out then kicked the man in his chest. Eat that!

The boy slung his sword over his shoulder to take a breather. He turned around to Akilxxar to make sure everything was going fine when he noticed bandits and huge troll looking things had the two surrounded. The boy ran as fast as he could to his mentor then slammed his back against his. Maybe we should stick together, yes?

Teddy had grown interested in becoming somewhat of a eaves dropper. He could make himself a mere shimmer in a matter of seconds and walk through almost anything. He could also make himself present, he couldn't be stabbed, sliced or destroyed and he had an ever growing love for doing the wrong thing. Today, no such mischief was upon his calendar. Today, he was going to be tailing a most interesting of sorts.

He found his new target shortly after scarring a few children. A great beast of a lizard man. He followed him using a taken body. He slipped into the skin of one of the common folk and trailed behind. While a particularly useful talent, it was hard to use. He had to force the mind into submission and then control it. He was a master of multi talent. And a master of this. Or growing to be.

The body he had taken was that of a local resident, with the occupation of fixing instruments. He had four daughters, two wives and nine sons. He regularly screwed his wives and also regularly pleased his daughters. Or got them to please him. His sons were all off in their own homes or at school. The man had a raging alcohol problem and a large patch of insecurity over the size of his tool.

Teddy sometimes found it almost irresistible to look into people's mind. The memories were like a story book that sometimes and unfortunately contained pictures.

The lizard found a companion nicknamed, quite hilariously, 'Runt'. The two soon found themselves knee high in shit when the non-lizard companion head butted one of the other guys. While Teddy loved a good fight, this was not of particular interest. He would follow, if only to confront the victor.

In the end, fate guided our two heroes to win. He turned up the opaqueness after ditching the body, making his form visible. Black trench coat, top hat, and long slacks. He had red gloves and curl point boots and a face mask of red glass. He walked out to them.

"Encore! Encore!" He called, nearly twenty feet away.

Encore?...Thorne turned to the man. Wearing an outfit that seemed so different made him instantly gain Thorne's respect. Who are you, may I ask? He rested his sword on his shoulder and stared down the man. Although he wasn't in the mood to continue fighting nor had the energy, he was willing to go to arms once more.
