It had been a few days since they'd discovered this place. Only now had he realized that thy would need quite a few things before living here on their own. Fresh water was on his mind today. Though there was an entire ocean just yards away, they needed something to drink. Fenrir was not aware of methods in turning salt water to fresh water, so today he set out in search of a natural source for it. With a stick in hand and a knife tied loose about his waist, he went for a trek over the dunes. The hour was still early and a light breeze swept over the sands. Fenrir decided that he'd picked a good time to begin his search. Walking across the sands, his boots long since discarded by the last dune (he could retrieve them later), gave him time to think. Usually his thoughts were less than pleasant, all regrets and sad memories. But something had begun to change in the young werewolf lately. For the first time since he could remember he was ... happy. Quite literally he had an angel to thank for all this. Thinking of him brought a smile to the werewolf's face as he over took the next dune. |

The salt water still wasn't a pleasing thing to feel when he woke up. They had been living in this house for a few days one would think Aziel would become...used to the feeling. Oh how impatient he was. Aziel woke up as groggy as he did before, stretching and yawning in bed. The faint taste of salt could be tasted at the back of his throat, which made him gag a little. It would seem a house on the beach wasn't really all he thought it was cracked up to be. At least being with Fenrir made up for everything. Thinking of Fenrir, he looked over to his left and saw that the other had gotten up and left. Aziel grumbled quietly while rubbing his eyes, at first not comprehending the fact that Fenrir wasn't next to him like he usually was. After a few moments of waking himself up, he rolled out of bed and mumbled something about being up this early. "Fen...?" He called out. No response. The house was empty.Aziel began to wonder where Fenrir could have gone. Clearly the other did not want to disturb him in his sleep, otherwise Fenrir would have asked him to tag along. How considerate. Aziel just schlepped across the floor and headed towards the entrance. The Sun's warmth felt good. That was actually one of his hobbies, sun bathing. Oh how relaxing it was to just lay in the sand and just...relax. Now if only to find his love...Aziel walked onto the sand, barefoot and looked around. He was only in shorts but it was fine. No one else was around. Aziel noticed some footprints in the sand and smiled. Perhaps he would catch up to Fenrir soon. The angel hurried in that direction, but carefully as he wanted to sneak up on him. |

Climbing over the next dune of sand, the werewolf found himself at his happiest. he really didn't know the extent of the uncomfortable feelings by the other, since he didn't complain much. If he'd known he would be more than happy to suggest a different place for them to stay. But this house by the shore seemed otherwise perfect. A chance like this didn't show up everyday, and he knew it. Still assuming the angel was asleep, he continued his search for water in silence. His foremost thought at the moment however was in regards to the heat. Dropping his knife for the moment, he paused to remove his shirt. Leaving it where he fell he retrieved the knife, and hopped down the following dune. |

Aziel had not been scurrying along for long till he saw his love off in the distance. Fenrir had stopped for a moment and Aziel crouched down, wondering what was going on. Did the other know he was there? Hopefully not..although Fenrir's nose was quite the...nose. Being a lycan and all. Aziel thought of strategic plans to "ambush" Fenrir. Perhaps just a straight forward lunge would be suitable. A playful grin appeared as he began his rush towards Fenrir. It did not take him long to get within distance but the unexpected happened, Fenrir had quickly moved from his spot down the dune and Aziel...well...had lunged a bit too early and missed Fenrir, tumbling down the sand dune and became sprawled out on the warm sand. "Ugh..." The Angel moaned, rubbing his head and felt the somewhat uncomfortable feeling of sand getting in places where it should not. He sat up and felt sand fall out of his hair. Aziel coughed a bit and wrinkled his nose. Oh how his plan failed. "Um...good morning..." He smiled childishly as he stood up, feeling the rest of the sand pouring out of his shorts as he brushed the sand off the rest of his body. |

He was so focused on seeking out the scent of fresh water amongst the salt of the sea air that he didn't notice another scent following after him. The shifting sands were rather soft as well. As he rose from picking up his discarded dagger, a shadow went sailing over him. Surprised, he brought his knife to a defensive pose. But a voice quickly alerted him to exactly what was going on. "Az?" Sliding the knife to his belt, he jumped down the dune, and helped the angel to his feet. "Are you okay?" He asked, quickly concerned. |

Aziel blushed in embarrassment as he looked away. He was quite the klutz when it came to being around Fenrir, something he had never experienced before. As long as he was around Fenrir then all was well. No amount of sand could make him frown. He brushed off the rest of the sand and grinned as he felt the red hue fade from his face. "I-I'm fine! Don't worry...it was just a little fall." He stepped closer to Fenrir and gave him a hug, something he had missed doing, even though he had been seeing Fenrir everyday. A little hug never hurt anyone. "What are you doing out so early?" The Angel inquired, looking around. All he could see was sand...not something one goes out exploring. Perhaps Fenrir was searching for something but instead of bombarding his love with questions, he would just stand there, smile, and wait. |

Helping the angel to his feet, Fenrir was still a bit unsure what to do when he hugged him. As much as he was enjoying these new feelings between theme, he still was afraid of doing something wrong. But maybe it wasn't so bad, at least he was able to feel these things. |

"So how are you going to find fresh water?" He looked around and saw nothing but sand. At least it wasn't hot sand where you couldn't walk bare foot in. Aziel hated that. The sand between his toes felt good. Alas, the angel was quite unaware at doing constructive things like finding fresh water. Usually he just went to a town and asked for some...actually that was really how he got whatever he needed. Aziel was quite the city boy and it seemed Fenrir was savy with the whole outdoors. Thankfully Fenrir knew what he was doing as Aziel would just have went to town and back every time he needed something new. |

))xD(( It was not easy for a werewolf to wander into a town and ask for anything, much less a drink of water. Having been forced to live in the wilderness for a few years now, Fenrir had adapted. Well as best as one such as himself could adapt. 'Animals have to get it from somewhere." Even animals were unable to live by drinking salt water. Sometimes they got moisture from prey, but fresh water was still a necessarily. "There might be a river, or estuary, or something of fresh water that drains into the ocean somewhere around here..." |

))I win!(( "Oh...well, that makes a lot of sense." Aziel just laughed as he began walking in the direction that Fenrir had been going. Perhaps there was a river near by...which would be nice since he was a bit thirsty at the moment. All that tumbling down a sand dune would do that to you. Of course he still felt embarrassed but he was always clumsy when he was around Fenrir. Aziel figured it was those butterflies in his stomach that caused all that. "Well I'm sure two people are better that one. I'll help look too! I can't have you do all the work." He glanced back and gave a smile as he started running off in the distance...of course tripping over his own feet and stumbled a bit. At least he didn't fall this time. "Uh..I'm okay!" Aziel yelled back as he hurried up the next dune. |

He tilted his head, sniffing the air for the scent of water. Fenrir could detect something faintly over the salt. Hopefully it meant a source of fresh water was not too far away. It sure woudl make things easier if the water was closer to their new home. Fenrir knew it would be a pain to have to trek too far out into the beach and sun in order to just get water for cooking or the like. Starting back over the dunes, he watched the angel fall again. Fenrir was less concerned his time. But a certain sense of playfulness seemed to wash over him. Before the angel could get too far away, he jumped over. And quickly scooped the angel into his arms. "If you can't stop falling down. I guess I'll just have to carry you." |

He was picked up by Fenrir, which was quite the surprise. Aziel had no idea Fenrir could carry him like that...well they never tried this before and the thought had not ventured into his mind. In any case, he was a little embarrassed by the act so he squirmed a bit but eventually failing to see any real harm from the other carrying him for a little while. After all, he was quite comfortable in his arms. "Thanks..." Aziel muttered, trying not to be so bashful. Although it was still quite hard not to blush from being this close to Fenrir but to keep him from making more of a fool out of himself, the angel change the topic. "Can you tell if there is any water around here?" His eyes darted from dune to dune but like he had mentioned before, all he could see was sand. Surely sand wouldn't be the best thing to ingest. Again, something he had never tried to do before but unlike being carried, drinking sand wasn't something he wanted to do. |

Fenrir was surprised at himself, all this affection was still relatively new to him. But he couldn't help himself. In regards to being able to carry the angel in his arms like so, well he wasn't exactly human himself. Fenrir didn't look like the combative type, but he was still stronger than he made himself out to be. A blessing and a curse this lycanthropy was. "I can smell it. Its different from the sea..." He was glad for the topic change. ""Should be nearby. Maybe just over these next few dunes." |

"Ah...what a nose you have." Aziel kept forgetting Fenrir was a werewolf. He had only seen the other in his wolf state once and it was not pretty. In fact Fenrir had attacked him but all was well. It was a rather frightening experience but they moved passed it. Together. The angel smiled in Fenrir's arms as they went over the next dune. He began to feel bad that the other had been carrying him so long. "I...think I can manage the rest of the way without falling down." Aziel said with a chuckle. On the way back he would offer Fenrir a ride in his arms if he pleased. It seemed only fair. |

"Sometimes ... its not so great." Another one of the reasons why he stayed away from the cities. The smell of so many people and all that entailed could become quiet unpleasant. Walking up and down several dunes, at last he could see water on the horizon. Another dune to go. "Huh? Oh..." He'd even forgotten the angel's weight in his arms. Well, if you're sure..." He teased a little, before setting the angel back on his feet. "We're almost there. Just another dune." |
