As the stool the humn was forced to relax on a stool that became quite uncomfortable, he gazed upon the many Orcish eyes that dweled upon him. Blank and evil stares came Thornes way and he hadn't even said a word since he enter the small hut. "The Dragon's Choice" That's what the sign said that hung next to the reinforced door that led to the inside.

Not only did the room feel weird, but the Orc women that tried luring you upstairs had a funny smell to them. Only two offered Thorne a room. The others asked if he had already rented one. The tavern wasn't so bad when it came to the service of the drinks. A cute, small waitress was walking around asking people for their mugs. Maybe she wanted to refill them Or maybe she was actually taking their mugs, so they had to buy new ones. Sneaky bitch... Thorne thought as she walked past him.

Smoke filled the air and the stares seemed to go right through the fog. Thorne caught himself a few times meeting eyes with someone across the tavern as they barked things under their breath. The human ignored their ignorence and slowly made his way outside for a breath of fresh air.

As the demonic vampire was wandering through Arangoth yet again she found herself entering a bar shortly after a young human male left. Trist stopped while holding the door open and looked at him and shook her head. Seeing as he was indeed human he was really unwelcome from the type of creatures that live in this area. For herself on the other hand no one would dare to touch her.

Trist walked into the bar and was cascaded in smoke. She slowly shook her head and headed to an empty table near the door. As a waitress walked over to her she ordered a mug of ale. While waiting for a few minutes the waitress came back and handed her the mug. As Trist took the mug she paid the waitress and drank her ale.

Blood cracked when he moved. It had matted and dried in his hear, on his clothes and on his breastplate. He had cleaned his blades though, all six of them with his meticulousness. Everything about his weapons had to be perfect lest they fail him when he needs them most.

The blood wasn't his. Not all of it at least. He had been ambushed by a band of raiders. It wasn't really a problem until one of them had sliced into his chest, knocking him off balance for the split second the raiders needed to overtake him. He had to resort to his darker half to fight his way out.

Vensint shuffled thought the street. A man strolled out when a woman walked in to a tavern. Both human. Curious. The last time he had been in these parts of Avalon it had been only himself and Bayli. He still wondered what became of her...

As he stormed out of the crowded room, he saw a young woman who opened the door for him. He met eyes with her for a second. Before he could smile, his eyes went else where. Not watching where he was going, he increased his pace, then looked back before the door could close, to get a beteer view of the girl. Right before the moment of truth, he kicked a rock the stumbled to the ground. Before he could hide his face from her, the door closed.

Thorne stold up and dusted himself off. He sniffed an odor that made his eyes water. Blood had that effect on the human. He looked to see who smelt of the wretched death, when a surprisingly familar face came to his mind. It was as if he knew this person. A good friend. Maybe in his past life? He squinched his eyes to get a better look when he realized who it was. A man with dry blood over him, along with a few weapons. A man like that most probaly mastered them over time. Before the man could come any closer, Thorne made his way back inside and he rushed for a dark spot.

In the corner of the room was a chair with the huma found himself in. Trying to keep hidden from the killer, he also kept an eye out for the girl who he met eyes with. She was no where in sight, but he had the gut feeling she was around. Along came the Orcish waitress with breasts tha looked to real to be true. It didn't bother him, though.

A mug of water will be fine, ma'am. The human said with a smile. She walked away to fetch his drink and Thorne looked at the ceiling for a brief moment. He thought about his slave years and how his mother used to tell him stories before he went to bed. The feeling of a whip flowed back from his memory. He squirmed as the feeling went through him.

Sir?...Sir! A voice made the human jump. Oh yes, sorry. He handed the girl a few coins then looked around the room. Sitting near the door was that young woman agian. He pushed himself up then stretched before he made his way to her table.

Trist watched as the man she saw leave the tavern earlier come back into the tavern. With a smile on her lips she followed him to where he sat. The sent of his blood made her want to try some. By the time he was seated and had a drink brought to him she smelt even more blood. That of which was drifting into the tavern.

While inhaling to catch and see how many different types of blood there was Trist noticed the mand she had witnessed earlier was heading to her table. Seeing as his mug was clear she laughed to herself because he was drinking water. When he reached her table she pushed a chair out for him to sit in with her foot and motioned for him to sit. "What brings you here?"

He breezed into the room. The doors didn't move open to let him in though. It was as if he had just appeared in front of them. He looked around the dingy room. His mask glinted in the candle light as he turned his head to look around.

The Orcish waitress walked to him and looked him over. "What'll you have?" Vensint looked down at her and blinked. He still couldn't speak from his fight. He motioned to the bar. "Fine. An ale it is." She sauntered off while Vensint instinctively walked to the back of the room. He could feel the eyes of the patrons on him as he walked. Bits of blood flaked off his shirt and sprinkled the ground. He wondered if anyone would start a fight with him today. After all, he was still a little worked up...

Thorne took a seat then looked at the man who had just entered. It was the guy who he was trying to hide from. The human didn't know this man, but he looked oddly familar. The people Thorne knew, were nothing he wanted to deal with.

What brings you here? The girl asked. I'm trying to keep a low profile, other than that, no reason. His thoughts were getting louder and louder. He dared not to say anything like that. I'm just exploring the open lands. What about you? After the words escaped his mouth, he couldn't help but put a smile on.

Trist sensed his lie due to the way he smiled. Going with the lie she nodded and smiled back at him. "I wander around a lot. I never really stick to one place for too long. So I guess this is where I ended up today." Trist smiled seductivly and refrianed from revealing her fangs the whole time this man was around. "So whats your name?"

While she talkeed Trist noticed the man that walked into the room. She stared at him for some time before realizing who he was. Vensint. Hearing his name run through her mind sent back memories of the time he helped her contact Clare in a way. The whole time she watched him her eyes widened with surprise. She wanted to go and say hello to him but she stayed where she was.

The smile the woman put on was hypnotizing. He couldn't answer, so he just smiled back. It took someone coughing on the otherside of the room to snap him back. Um...Oh. My name. It's uh, Thorne. And yours? The human rubbed his eyes then drunk some water. The human waved the waitress down and looked at the crowd of people. The place seemed to get packed in a few minutes. People were screaming, while others were drinking the night away. Thorne chuckled at the tavern folk then turned back to his new friend and smiled.

While still smiling Trist looked about the tavern and caught the sight of her old friend again. When the human said his name she turned her attention back to him and listened. "The name is Tristanis. If you like you may call me Trist, what ever is more easier to remember." Trist took another swig of her ale and started to relax.

The waitress returned with a second mug for the human. He gave her a few coins then took a sip of his drink. Although his drink was simply water, he always made sure that he had a freezing mug. It cost an extra penny to get such a glass, but it was worth it. At the corner of Thorne's eye, he noticed a group of people standing up and screaming. Seconds later, fist were flying and swords were being swung wildly. The human laughed at the people then leaned against his chair to watch.
