Elemental Diary

The Land of Avalon is a freeform medieval/fantasy roleplaying site loosely based on Arthurian lore. I cannot actually recall if I'd kept a diary before. But for the moment it doesn't seem to bad an idea. My magics are not what they used to be. With war, plague, and elemental chaos surrounding Avalon, I've grown out of practice. The capabilities I once had are minor in comparison these days. It takes most of my energy just summoning up a fireball. Being capable of combat is another story at the moment. With a bit of practice however, I hope to regain my magical reserves. And on that note, I bid farewell in order to practice before sundown.

But not much has happened. Had some fighting, learned a few techniques. Somehow I am much better with elemental deeds of water than anything else. But I can still get things done. Got hurt awhile back, fending off an assassin from hurting some poor girl. Then I got shipwrecked off on an island and was attacked by harpies. The bitches clawed the hell out of my back, I tell ya.

Ah. Let's see... Not been doing much. Been taking more tavern jobs lately. Decided to take a break from work during slow week. Crashed out on a beach, and was attacked... by a dog! Nah. He was actually a werewolf in canine form. A bit ... strange though. Ah, but after spending the night in a den, to shelter from a storm... I feel so much more than just a sudden friendship.
