She had come here for one reason and one reason only. The child, was bored. Though she had been through many adventurers these passed few weeks, they were over now. And when one who always had a knack for getting into trouble could find no one to get into trouble with, she grew antsy. Her fingers twitched at the cord of her knife, as the bear followed her steps, nipping at her heels. She muttered random things, old songs and phrases she'd heard years ago, at the bat in her pocket. Haven was gaining quite the little menagerie.

Slowly but surely the sky grew darker and darker. Until at last nothing could be seen by the stars in the sky and the moon above. At this realization, a high pitched squeak would echo from the confines of her cloak. The girl halted, causing the bear to collide with her legs, sending her falling. Sprawled atop the fuzzy creature, Haven tapped the bear cub's head. "Bear what where you're going!" It merely growled irritably, before crawling backwards and running away a few paces. She never could get the thing to like her much ... Another squeak would echo from her cloak as a now slightly squished bat crawled up her clothes and rested against her shoulder. "Heheh. Not as well trained as you huh Viridis?"

Having followed her father on one of his many trips around Avalon, the boyish child, at the ripe age of 18, with boyish peasent clothes. Since the child's father was having a merry time with his comrads, she had quickly grown bored, yet restless, since at some point, from exhaustion, she had taken a rest in the caravan and had fallen asleep for a good time, so she was well rested and sleep would not come as easily for her.

With a short sigh, the child got up from where she stood, and, deepening her voice, she had told her dad, in that boyish voice,
"I'm gonna take a walk, I'll be back in a little bit."

"Ok." Her father told her, a rather large man at 6 feet height with bulking muscles and wasn't afraid to show it. With his line of work, it required a lot of physical labor from him, so he would always be well fit, and at times, very skillful with a sword.
"Your son doesn't take well after you I'm guessing." The dad's friend told him, noting the child's quick exhaustion and skinny muscles.
"That's my daughter..." He told his friend, before taking another quick drink of the ail
"Wait, what?"

To the lake she walked, and had stood to take a look at the beautiful lake before her. The stars overhead and the moon as well, she heard from her father that day never seems to come to this valley, which have always made it one of his favorite places to pitstop and set up camp between his visits to other areas. The child thought for a moment, why night? Is it suppose to be an evil curse?[/s] But quickly dismissed the thought as being ignorant and steriotypical.

Rocks, with a flat surface. Her favorite kind, mostly because they were the best to skip. She used to watch all the boys able to skip these rocks up to ten times, but everytime she tried to mimic what they did, all there was, was a single 'plop' which was frusterating, because she wanted the amazing skips they did.

Patting the furry critter's head, Haven helped it untangle from her clothes before holding it up to the sky. The little bat quickly took off in the air, having just learned to fly recently. For the time being it would be busy catching bugs, and Haven with no more companion to talk to had to find new amusements. That lake up ahead looked like a good idea...

Hopping to her feet, she skipped down the path until her toes met water. Her head titled slightly as she noticed a boy down the shore away. He was picking up rocks. Haven never bothered trying to skip rocks. Instead, she ignore the man for now and cannon balled into the lake! "Incoming!" And splash.

That, was shocking, to say the least, minding her own buisness, until suddenly, out of nowhere, a girl suddenly comes from out of nowhere and cannonballs right into the water, and splashing her all over.

The boyish girl had shut her eyes tight, the splash wasn't big, but it was enough to get her clothes a bit wet. The splash came out just that far. She stared off into the water to wait for the young girl to come up for air.

After a few moments the child resurfaced from the water. Treading water with a bit of difficulty, she wiped her hair form her eyes. Her clothes seemed to be weighing her down though, so she decided to turn for shore. Stepping out of the water with a lot of noise ans splashing around, she struggled to wiggle out of the oversized coat wrapped about her. Suddenly she noted a person on the shore ahead, and turning towards them she gave a shout. "Hey hey! I'm stuck ... Little help please." She waved an arm helplessly as she got stuck in her own jacket.

The girl had shook her head, that was why you usually unclothe before dashing straight into a lake. She slowly walked over to the girl, this indeed felt less weird for her, seeing as it was just another girl. It was always a bit of a nervewreck when another boy would have asked the same thing. She uinbuttened the coat and helped her out of it. The coat was completely soaked.
"Probably should have taken the coat off before kid, what's your name?" She had asked, trying to both deepen her voice as well as give off a tough guy appearance to this young girl.

Not noticing the difference between whether the person was male or female, she had virtually no modesty anyways. Haven didn't care who helped her out of the soaking wet cloths threatening to drown her where she stood. "Thank you." Her voice as muffled by the large coat being tugged over head. When it was finally on the ground in a heap of sopping wet cloth, Haven shook herself. "Hehe I got excitable... And forgot!"

She had lied the jacked down onto the ground, while she wiped the water from the jacket onto her pants. Since she didn't have some kind of cloth, those pants sure came in handy for times like that.

"Forgot?" She had asked the other girl, and had shoved her hands into her pants. The girl didn't give her name like she had wanted, figured she didn't hear it, didn't matter,
"My name's Reizel. You may want to dry your clothes off before you catch a cold." She had told the little girl. Weird to see somebody so young just wondering out here like this alone.

Again, in her excitement ... she had, forgot! 'Oh heh." She took a knife from her shirt sleeve, shaking the water from it before dropping it onto her jacket. "My name's Haven!" The girl took a step back towards the lake though. Just one little jump in wasn't enough! "I'm not done swimming." Her tone took on a a bit of a whine, like a child being told she couldn't' play anymore. but then an idea caused her to perk once gain. "Ohoh! You wanna go swimming with me?"

She's... so childish... It was amazing, around this girl's age a normal girl would have normally matured enough to not make such whiny, voices when told something bad like that. It was rather shocking this girl didn't seem to have parents that diciplined her enough to not make such remarks. Wait, this child didn't even have parents around. How did she evade slave traders and bandits?!

When the girl had suggested for Reizel to swim too, one of her many fears of being discovered had been thrown into view. She was sure the moment she got wet, the cloth would loosen and unwrap. She never dared test it, though she never wanted to, safer just to stay out of the water.
"I-I'll be fine." She explained to Haven, as she looked away from her, her nervousness starting to show up.

Yes, she was, but it wasn't as if she knew how to be any different. Having not had an exactly normal childhood, she never really did grow up. And yet somehow, there were times when she said things so wise beyond her years that it was ... strange. Well all in all she was strange. An eccentric little girl that traveled around Avalon carry a knife. "Oh. Well. Okay!" Seemingly not bothered by the older boy's refusal to join her for a swim, Haven stepped back towards the water anyways. Then she jumped in, a little less carelessly than before, and went for a swim.

That was good at least. She had let out a sigh, in relief that the girl didn't try to drag her in or start to beg. That would have caused a bit of a problem right then and there.
She had just sat down onto the grass and rested her arms on top of her legs, as she watched the girl swim about. She was rather curious as to why this girl was alone the way that she was, but at the same time didn't want to just bombard the girl with random questions.

It seemed she had forgotten about the person on shore, as she swam for several minutes more. Haven did not see fit to leave the water until shed gotten cold. But now she had taken care of too issues. That is, washed her clothes and herself at the same time! Finally she climbed out of the water, dripping wet before shaking the water form her self as best as possible.

Then she wrung out her hair and her clothes and stomped back up to shore. Only now did she realize how cold it was. Shivering a little she prodded her coat but found it to wet to be of any help. "Heyhey. do you know how to make a fire?" She finally asked the lad.

Once the girl was finally done, and now she had come out of the water, Reizel had stood back up, and wiped off the grass that was sticking to her pants. As the child had come over towards her, she could tell the girl was freezing, it was shocking she didn't catch a cold from how long she had been swimming in that water.

"I can, but I need some wood, sticks, and some kind of flint." She had explained, remembering she had watched her dad make fires plenty of times and sometimes would make her own little baby fire right next to his, which she was always so proud of when she made it, even if it would die out rather quickly.

Bouncing from one foot to the other in an effort to get warm, the girl nodded towards her coat. "I jus have a knife..." Unable to stand still a moment longer, she started pacing, then walked past the boy and to the grassy earth again. Her head whipped back and forth as she scanned the terrain, water flinging from her hair and flying in all directions.
