He nodded to her as he tried to rearranged her words for easier comprehension. Well, it wasn't that hard. Her words were simple and direct to the point. He carefully skipped the stones. They were slippery but he managed to get on his feet. Once or twice did he almost fall and once or twice did he manage to avoid going for a dive. He didn't know how to swim, after all. He soon managed to catch up and glanced at the stone temple that they were headed to. It made him more excited to get to that structure. He wanted to see what it looked like. He was curious if it were just a home for the guardian or held something else.

As he found his way safely across the stones, she continued leading him the rest of the way. Until they reached the opposite shore, Alezra would pause every now and then to make sure he did not fall in the water. Finally they made it, and she offered a hand to help him cross the final stone.

"There. See. Not so hard." Now that they were at the structure across the lake, it seemed even larger up close. A heavy door blockade entrance to the almost tomb like building. "Oh yeah. Gotta open." Stepping forward, the guardian tugged at a chain hanging on the wall. Slowly but surely the door began to open, and finally the guardian came running back.

Finally they made it. He stood in front of what seemed to be a large door. He saw Alezra run and tug a chain from the wall. The door to the enormous shrine started to open and she ran back at him. He tilted his head and turned to the temple again. "Your place of worship is titanic. How was it constructed? Who did the construction of the shrine?" He asked her a series of questions with a bit of a use of those complicated words. Well, he figured those were complicated to Alezra. But he...well, he didn't know how to speak any other way.

She wasn't even out of breath after opening the huge stone door to the shrine. Its seems her strength was greater than her childish appearance gave away. Having developed a pose, it seemed she was quite proud of herself for opening that big door no matter how easy it was. "It kinda looks like Antioch. But .... not." Of course she did not stop to think that maybe he'd never seen Antioch. "But its not that big a ruin. Its a nice shrine inside." She nodded to herself, before turning and leading the way into the pale.

"Not know. Was here ever since I came here. One day felt like something calling me. So I follow all the way out to this desert. Find shrine here, grow more power here. Now I control earth, make sure no harm comes to earth or living things on it."

"Antioch? I have never arrived in such a place. Nor do I know of it and where it is located," Æ told her and tilted his head as he gazed up the ruins. His first impression was that it was a...ruin. An old place, an old temple. She said however that inside was different that one would expect. He listened well when she had said that the place was the one that had called out to her. That it was here when she got power and here when she had become a guardian.

In curiosity of her previous feat, he asked her, "How were you able to open such a heavy door?"

"It is a ruin. Very big." Her reply made it seem as if that was all the answer one needed. Though in fact it left a lot of questions unanswered. Stepping further into the structure, leading the way, she gestured to various carvings on the walls. "These were here when I came. That's a kitty, that's a furry elephant, that's a..." The guardian would go on and on describing thee primitive, strange drawings. Carvings weathered into the walls and faded brown-red paint all splattered the walls at random locations.

Finally the large hall opened up into an open space. The earth was cool and mossy, a large pure marble shrine situated within. at every corner was a statue of various materials. Carved into the shapes of tiger, dragon, wolf, raven. After a brief pause, the guardian ran into the center of the dwelling, halting with a proud post before the shrine. Here. Magic is here. Very powerful. Yes."

He followed behind her. A small smile traced his lips, showing his excitement. He listened and watched as she had told him about the carvings on the walls. Various animals. He tilted his head a bit and walked up to her. He can feel it. He can feel what she had said. There was strong magical energy in these parts. He walked around a bit, amused and feeling something strange. He reached in to his pockets and drew out a card. It was the Emperor Arcana. He wondered if it had meant something. He looked at the card and at Alezra and wondered if it had meant something. That strange feeling bubbled up a bit. He turned to Alezra and then asked her. "Would you mind it if I stay here for a while." Here is where he felt safe. Here is where he felt protected. Here was when he had gotten lost and found.

When she had first appeared here, the magic seemed strange and nearly overpowering, but being a creature of magic, it was familiar as well. Ever since her arrival thing, she had become more than just a curious wanderer. Even a beast as strange as she now had a place to call home. And she would protect that home, the earth itself, through any means necessary. All inhabitants of this land to were under her care. This boy with the odd way of speaking was no different.

After all, in a place like this haven, there was never one left wanting. Oh how the guardian loved company too. She giggled softly, patting the man on the shoulder in a friendly way. "Yes! of course yes! You stay as long as want. Good company yes?" With a grin, she turned back to the hall they'd traveled through. Stay here rest. I go get supplies, make shrine comfy living space. Okay?" With glee the guardian was off down the hall, ready to get to work in making this place as homely and comforting as possible.
