It was a rainy day and she had been sent to the area. It was unfortunate because Reid hated being cold and wet. "Waaa! Master is mean~nyu~ He sent Reid in the rain~nyu~" She pouted as she started her search for covered. However, even the alleyways were filled with either drunk men or garbage (not that there's anything different) and she had no choice but to look for a house to take her in. Failing much in that department, she stole a small crate and propped it up beside an inn. She took a few pieces of wood for the roof and used it as her temporary shelter. "Nyu~ Master is going to pay~nyu~" She told herself so she will remember to get back at Reiku for this. |

Shanna drew the thick wollen cloak around her, trying to shield herself from the rain that had started light, but now turned into a downpour, it was no use ofcourse, she was soaked to her skin Urgh! Why did I have to come out in this? she had meant to be getting some groceries for cook, but the market had aparently closed early due to the storm, and she was now returning empty-handed, she could only spare a small though to what might await her for failing to get the supplies. "That's it, I'm going inside!" She shouted to no-one in particular, she barely heard her own vioce over the sound of rain on the cobbles and rooftiles, she saw an inn ahead, and made for it quickly, hunched over with the cloak covering her head. She was not looking forward to the reaction she would get in the inn, there was always atleast one filthy beast in there who had drank too much whatever the hour, and he would no doubt make some obscene comment. She was about to enter the inn, when something caught her eye, a crate was propped to the side of the inn, a pair of bright red eyes peered out from undernieth, the eyes beloneg to the strangest creature Shanna had ever seen, pure white hair and wilky white skin, with what appeared to be cat ears. Stopped in her tracks by the strange sight, Shanna was took completely by suprise by a rather large drop of very cold water that dripped from the edge of the roof above, and found it's way to running down her back causing her to shiver. "Hello? Are you ok?" Shanna took a few steps towards the creature, unsure if she should be scared or not But it looks so cute, and it's soaked! |

Shivering and so cold. Despite having some sort of roof over her head, she still needs to deal with the frigid temperatures of her surroundings. She was shivering and shaking as she tried desperately to keep herself warm and within the boundaries of her temporary roof, which has now started to leak. Her ears drooped down and her tail wrapped around her petite body. Her leather clothing were no match for the low temperature of the rain. A few steps had alerted her. Oh, how she hope it wasn't one of those drunkards. She always hated men that would just think using their reproductive organs. Sure, getting drunk would be an excuse, but getting drunk is just removing the restrictions over the mouth of these swines and that's the thing she hated. Lucky for her, it's a woman. She can tell even though it was only a silhuoette she saw because of the voice. "Nyu~ I'm c-c-cold~nyu~ Reid is freezing~nyu~" |

The creature had an odd way of talking, but that didn't hide the distress in it's voice, she understood English at least, and Shanna didn't have the heart to leave her here. “Reid” Shanna hoped she had gotten the girls name correct “My name is Shanna” despite herself she offered a slight bow, too long spent in the house of her master had moulded her behaviour. “You poor thing, trapped in the cold like this.” Shanna reached down, offering her hand to Reid. “Come now, don't be scared, we shall go into this inn, and get out of the rain and share some warmth at least.” Pulling her cloak around her tighter, she felt for her purse, the coins the master spared for her would be more than enough to buy them a drink, and maybe she could find out more about who and what this girl was. |

"Nyu~?" Her ears flicked as they were trying to get the water off of them. Reid looked up to the woman that was in front of there. Help has arrived? Hopefully it did. Reid had come out of her little box and shook off the water like a cat would. "Nyu~" Reid latched on to the woman, feeling cold and shivering from the frigid temperature. The woman, Shanna, was warm and her scent was nice. Reid purred as she held on to her arm, going with her and hoping that the place would be warmer than that box in the alley. |
