Well, he had issued another challenge to her. Despite already teaching her a couple of things. He still held her at the level of being an apprentice. So this time, the challenge he had issued her was to at least wound him. It wasn't that much of a deal, he'll regenerate it anyway. Also, she had seen him die and revive already. It wouldn't be shocking to her if she had accidentally killed him and he had come back to life. So now here he is, near the edge of the cliff, very open and very susceptible to attack. He'll just see if she can take advantage of the situation.

Anabella sigh inwardly she accepted another one of his ever so crazy challenges, why? Because she wanted to show off and maybe hurt him every so often, just back payback is all. She got a few blows in at times and she felt very proud of that but then she came a long way being his apprentice even though he made her do the most annoying tasks, they actaully worked for her. She got back into her fighting position and scanned the surroundings around him, she smirked and came at with full force, jumping in air slightly wanting to jab him with her small knives but wasn't successful since he blocked her attack easily. However, her force was great which pushed him back a few feet making him slip off the cliff as well as herself. A squeal escaped from her lips as she grabbed on to the cliffs edge.

Well, she did come a bit far. Perhaps an apprentice is an understatement...well, not really. He still can block almost every attack she threw at him. The only ones that hit are the one he let hit and the ones that actually hit. Well, her attack this time...was actually worse than usual.
"You're too open!" Reiku smirked as he easily parried her blades. However, the ground under his feet started to crumble. He would have been able to get away from that place had she not flew in with so much force, making him and her topple of the edge. And so they held on to the edge of the cliff, annoyance obvious on Reiku's face. "You know...I'm blaming you for this."

Her heart rate was speeding up dramatically, she tried her best not to look down but kept her grip frim strongly on the cliffs edge. When she heard Reiku speak, anger rose within her. "Me!? Your the one who decide to be near a cliff and show off...blame yourself!" she yelled in his ear, she had every right in her mind to just push him off the cliff. She made the mistake of looking down and when she didn't see the ground she almost puked. "Oh my..." she whispered as she held on tighter.

"Me? You're the one that decided to go for a flying tackle. You're to blame!" Reiku told her and shook his head. Had he not keep on bickering, they would have gotten out already. But no, he'd rather go for putting the blame on her. His movements were now taking it's toll as the edge they were holding on to started to make sounds. She stuck her tongue out at him, it was true slightly but she wasn't going to take the blame. "No you, because you didn't hold your ground good enough 'Mr. Good at everything'" she told as she looked away from him and towards the cracking the cliff that was probably was going to let go of them. "No its not but its sounds the noise you're going to make once I stab you a few times" she said, but sounded more like a terrible event was about to take place and they front row seats.

"I'd like to see you-" He was about to ease her into attacking him but the cliff had decided to crumble on them. By instinct, he had let go and latched on to her. It wasn't so he wouldn't fall, it was because both of them were going to fall that he decided to cushion her fall. That is, if his body is able to cushion that high. "Don't damn let go of me!"

Her heart almost burst out of her chest as the cliff crumbled under their grip, she felt more weight on her as she looked down seeing Reiku holding on to her. W-what are you doing!?" she screamed out as they were falling, she closed her eyes and accepted that she was probably going to die and Reiku was going to take hardness of the ground plus her weight...he was already done for.

"Just don't flail around!" Reiku ordered her. He wrapped his arms around her in an attempt to protect her from all sides. As if by a stroke of luck, the cliff had a slope and it was Reiku that had landed. A rock immediately broke a rib before he started rolling, becoming a protective meat shield as he was the one getting hit stone after stone, rock after rock.

She watched in shocked horror as the rocks hit repeatedly, she flinched now and again unable to do anything, too surprise of the what he was doing, protecting her. She swallowed the knot in her throat and wrapped her arms around him attempting to repay him for taking all the blows of the rocks and protected him when she could by rolling over.

Finally, after the tormenting roll down the slope of jagged rocks. They had stopped. Reiku's back had spiky rocks embedded in it and was a bit torn open from the battering. He couldn't move as his spine had snapped and his arm were locked around her a bit tightly similar to what others call a grip of death. "You alive?"

Only feeling sore in a few areas she groaned slightly after the tumbling and roll was done, she looked up at Reiku and frowned having no idea of what kind of pain in was probably in. "Yes but I know you're barely alive.." she said as she got up, helping him up as well. "Think you can walk a little?" she asked concerned about him.

It was amazing that he was able to get up. Well, that amazement was over quickly as he fell back to the ground. His spine was broken and it would take a while to heal. The hard rocks and stones did quite a damage on him. His skin was battered and gruesome, bones stuck out on some points.
"I think that answered you question," Reiku told her as he rolled over, not being able to move his arms or feet or even his neck. "Glad to see you're alive."

She slid her hand down her face unable to figure out what to do with him, she was worried and slightly scared of what may happen. "Same for you but I guess we better head off somewhere, get you to a safer place for now.." she mummbled to herself as picked him up by the waist and started walking "Thanks back there by the way" she said lowly.

Bones can be heard cracking as she lifted him up. It wasn't that she was handling him badly and doing more damage. No. It's more like his healing process was now taking place and that his bones were fixing themselves. Of course, it would take a while so he just leaned against her, his feet slowly stepping forward to match her pace. "Don't mind it. I don't want to lose my apprentice, do I?"
