It was not that she had forgotten to give her name to the recent addition to their party. Koralle was simply distracted in more important things. Generally speaking she remained quite cordial to other people, as long as they weren't suspicious in demeanor. And she didn't get that sense from the stranger, though she woudl not trust him completely until they got to know each other better, she would remain kind. It was all she ever asked for in return, mutual respect. "Sorry. Its Koralle. Adalwolf." That was all she had by means of introduction. She did not have any clan or title to go by. All she had ... was a name. Stepping forward towards the cavern, her hand would fall to her sword. "I know Skaren." She would nod to him, but had no other words to give. There was nothing to say, the hole was a dangerous place. A place she may not even make it though. But she could not forfeit. Koralle had nothing left ... but this. Her fingers would twitch upon the hilt of her blade. "You still don't have to. But I'm going." With that, she would step forward into the dark, a word muttered beneath her breath and steps echoing into the hole. |

Not go? Is that some kind of joke? Ha! Skaren was far too driven for such a thing. He had given the girl his word that he would be her shield, and stay with her until the very end, until he drew his last breath or until whatever conflict she was drawn into was over. He was not a cowardly man that haphazardly gave his word to any and everyone without intent on seeing it through, no... this one would go for broke and bring about everything he could muster without caring for the consequence's if it so meant that he could carry out his promise. The two blades at his left hip, Alpha and Omega, the first, the beginning was drawn, a nigh silent hiss as he released it from its home. Ready for the trouble he was obviously feeling, deep within his self, the youth knew something, or someone was waiting deep inside this hole. What was to come after was unknown, and in a way... it excited the youth much. |

Trouble. He had a feeling that it would be an understatement. But that would not deter him. He dare not turn his back on it. He has a strange feeling that he wanted to show this man, Skaren, what he was capable of. Alpha male attitude? No. He was not that kind of a person. Rather, he felt an aura about him. The kind that was prompting Reiku to challenge the man, unsure if he would survive a clash. But all is well. Betrayal was not on his mind at all. He was cut short from his pondering as the woman had introduced herself. Koralle, much better than hound woman of course. Well, the hound seems to have a negative disposition towards him and he ought to remember to keep distance or from making any sudden movements. "I said my name. I do not wish to be called a coward now, would I?" He called out and smirked as he followed into the hole. No holding back. No hesitations. No regrets. [will edit if needed] |

'I wouldn't call you a coward. Some would say this is the stupidest idea one can have. It may not lead to anywhere but dead ends. But we've come this far already...." She had no intention of delving into inner monologue, nor poetry of fools and cowards sticking their noses in unfit places. Simply the silence was too eerie, she could not hold her breath forever, after all. A faint growl would echo as they moved deeper on into the caverns. It seemed no amount of light would reach these depths. "Nachtsicht." She would mutter beneath her breath, shimmered gaze blinking in the darkness. She nearly matched the hound in that regard, an old magic trick her father had taught her some time ago. "Unless you can see in the dark, we might could fashion some sort of torch. I am not sure how good an idea that may be however..." |

Now that was one thing his training never provided, sight in the dark. True enough his senses were just a bit keener than your average persons, he could walk in a dark place without bumping into anything mostly because he could “feel” it there. When roaming about in the dark in the mountains, one must be aware of cliffs, loose rock and even trees and such while traveling in forested areas. So as Koralle mumbled such, offering to make a torch, he shrugged at the idea. A torch would come in handy just in case they were attacked, and at least even the playing field if the things that lurked within happened to be hostile. But, just as quickly they could get through with a guide and not startle or stir anything of a darker nature. “I can feel my surroundings... light isn't necessary... just as quickly move through here without riling up trouble as we would cutting it all down.” He shrugged, moving almost effortlessly near the mouth of the cave itself, just deep enough so that his eyes would fail and see only black. Depending on the choice, Skaren would sheath the steel at his hip and reach for the dagger on his leg. |

A strange sight...that is, if there is anything to be seen at all. Perhaps rushing and jumping in with haste wasn't such a good idea. Deeper and deeper, darkness had crept up upon them. Soon, his sight had been rendered useless from the blanket that had hindered their sight. At least their hearing worked and only their sight was affected. If it was like that time where he can't even hear or feel himself (what he called true darkness then), then he might not even know if he was walking or standing still, falling or climbing, dead or alive. Koralle had suggested the use of a torch but no one knows what that would trigger. A couple of monsters being alerted for food perhaps? Or will they see the horror they would walk over? Skaren had said that he can sense his surroundings. Not that Reiku can't but he just wasn't that adept to it. The only thing he can use is his hearing at the least. "Better not light a torch or attract monsters if there are any," Reiku suggested to his companions in the dark. All he can do was follow, that is, if he wasn't the one in front, he couldn't tell. "Just keep speaking maybe? I can at least follow your voices." |

Like an animal's in the dark, her eyes would reflect glimmering light. Just like an animal's too however, the spell did not allow vision in total darkness. There had to be at least some small amount of light to be enhanced by the magics. If there were none, she was as blind as the rest of them. on the plus side however, she had known the ability for so long, since she was a child even, that it didn't drain her meager magic reserves in the least. Her vision would remain, as long as light held out that is, until she dismissed it with a word. Though a torch may certainly help, she also knew the dangers it may bring. And though the creatures that had stalked them in the night had feared the campfire, there was no telling what they would face in this hole. So nodding briefly and speaking softly she would pass up the idea of a torch. "Ok. I can see for a little ways. Just hope it does not get pitch black. Well. Stay close." With that they would set off into the black. ))Crap. Falling asleep mid-post. xD(( |

He did not have the eyes to see well in the dark but he did have the ears to listen. So he did. He listened carefully and followed her voice. Not only that, he also listened to their steps, keeping himself busy with counting how many steps were being taken. For them, it would be most likely ten feet moving about. Three pairs for the three of them and four for Koralle's hell hound. That hell hound. He made it sure to be as far away as possible at all the while keeping his pace. As Skaren as said, they should move quickly. The quicker they get out of this situation. A situation where they were a potential target for an ambush or a sneak attack. He placed his trust on his ears and hoped that they would not fail him. He hoped they weren't any place where they would fall down. He couldn't hear a hole, after all. Time passed as they trekked further and further into Husin, but in the darkness she could not recall how long it had been since they'd last seen real light. The going was slow thanks to the pitch, as to avoid getting split up they had to move slowly, and to avoid grabbing monsters' attention they had to be quiet. A process which worked, in theory. But these were not ordinary cave beasts being dealt in this hole. A growl from the hound would be the first warning the party received. It was also the only one, as abruptly, the rock wall before them crumbled. Something either very large or simply unexpectedly strong must have heard them through the halls, as it burst through the wall in search of a meal. Being ahead, Koralle was first to receive the shower of chipped stone thrown forth from the assault. "Get back!" Was the only warning she had time to give as she stepped away from the falling stones. |

Eh, what was it that gripped him? Fear? Excitement? Unknowing? The feeling was... foreign to him, something he has never felt before. Perhaps it was anxiety? Maybe that was it, unable to see in the darkness, the mounting silence and yet the air was not calm. It put the youth on edge, and the only sound besides the footsteps was that of sheathing steel. Alpha was returned to his hip... though he bent low and with a silent tug, the dagger was free... cutting the very darkness with its keen edge. Though the black was too thick for any light to be reflected off its polished edge. “On my hills... Reiku... somethings not well.” Seriously, what the hell was it that these three were getting into? |

Total darkness. He had a feeling that once they had made it out of this dark cavern, the light would burn and blind his eyes. The hound had echoed a growl. He was thankful that it wasn't towards him, but cursed as he figured that danger was fast approaching. He felt the ground shake a bit and stepped back as Koralle had warned them. A couple for stones and dust settle on his face which he wiped off with his scarf. Something was coming their way. Something big from the sounds of it. He had heard Skaren's voice. It seems like they had to fight their way. Reiku, however, was in a huge disadvantage in the dark. His hearing may be slightly better than a normal human's but still not keen enough for echolocation. By what his impression of Skaren was, that man has a better chance in fighting the enemy they were facing. Plus, he couldn't draw his long blade as the risk of hitting his comrades was present. He took out the teleporting dagger, Seven Nights and called out to them. "I'll try and find a way out," Reiku told them and threw the dagger is a random direction, which he was sure neither Skaren nor Koralle had stood. *The dagger emitted a stream of light as it flew by, remaining for a couple of seconds to give them a bit of illumination. Upon hitting a wall or if the dagger would get out of sight, Reiku would summon it back into his hands to search for another path. "If there's no way out than fight then I'll join the fray." *Dimension slash(thrust rather xD) |

She struggled to see in the dark, but as the rocks fell, light was revealed! If it had not been for the hulking monstrosity currently barring there was, she would have been quite happy. Instead however their exit was not to be gained so easily. The hound was crouched before her, ready to attack at the least gesture from the monster in the darkness. Koralle was more than willing to back off, let more skilled warriors fight it, but was trapped between the beast and the rock wall. Cursing beneath her breath she made to go for her own blade, but the angle of her confinement prevented her from being able to draw the katana. "Ahead! I can see the exit." If it had not been for the creature knocking down the wall, the might never have found it. These dark caves were a labyrinth of dead ends and fallen rock. Koralle was in no mood to thank the beast however. As the monster came closer, the hound lunged, fangs driving into the fleshy ... leg, ankle, who knew the creature's anatomy. Whatever sort of beast it was, it nearly reached the roof of the cave, even then it was hunched down somewhat. As the beast was distracted by the hound tearing into its leg and the flash of light cast by the thrown dagger, Koralle took the opportunity to slip past the fray, blindly casting a spell and sending shards of magical energy ripping into the monstrosity's ... form, whatever she could hit.* "Schuss!" The hound released its hold on the thing, ducking past a blow. As the beast roared in pain, its fists struck the roof above, sending more stones scattering. Her vision was blurred by the abrupt light given off by the dagger, as her own spell increased all available light. Muttering a few brief words to discard the night sight she narrowly avoided a large chunk of fallen stone. "Skaren! Reiku! This way!" Climbing over the fallen rock wall, she fell a few feet to the cavern floor. Turning only long enough to make sure the two men and the hound realized her leaving, she ran towards the cavern exit. Behind them, the monster thrashed, enraged at the sudden brightness of the light and the injuries it had sustained. ))*Cast magic missile into the darkness!(( |

Several attempts and he only kept hitting rock. It seems as if the place was a dead end. However, the light that he had been making by the dagger had its advantages. First was that it distracted the beast, the foreign light piquing the curiosity of the damn monstrosity. The light was also helping him to see where Koralle and Skaren were, the light showing either themselves or the silhouettes. The beast or golem or whatever the abomination was was too large that even with the light from the dagger, Reiku couldn't see it wholly. He then heard the crashing of rocks and felt the shaking of the ground as he had thrown his dagger once more. He had heard Koralle call out. The exit had been found. Thank the gods. A burst of light from Koralle had paved their way to escape. Immediately, Reiku followed the escape route that had been revealed to them. However, he stumbled as he was about to leave. He rolled and got up, he was the only one left. He summoned his dagger back to his hand when he felt something going towards him. Something heavy and huge. In the blink of an eye, eighteen slashes in different angles had come between Reiku and the raging fist of the beast. A quick screen to shield him. The last slash he had used to hurl the dagger to the exit. He waved at the monster to add insult to injury before he disappeared to where the dagger was. The last words that were heard before the light screen disappeared was a foreign word from Reiku. "Ja ne." *Reiku used Speed + Dimension Slash and Tele Dagger |

The earth seemed to shake all around them as the beast's flailing attempts to strike caused the cavern to fall to pieces. 'Hurry!" She called, wanting to let them know how dire it was that they get outside right now. As they neared the exit, the daylight was blinding. Quite the opposite from the Husin they'd entered before. All that time wandering lost in the black didn't help matters though. She exited the cave, turning to see the two men and the hound escape barely in time. As the three of them and the hellhound were left trying to catch their breath, the cavern collapsed in on itself. The exit was blocked by tons of large stones. "Well... it looks ... like... there's no going back now." Koralle finally spoke, wheezing for breath in between words. Glancing out to the terrain surrounding them, she was shocked. Unlike the dismal and dangerous Husin they had camped within, this place was a literal paradise. A completely green filed spread out before them, untouched by the dark forces which had surrounded them night (or was it nights?) before. |

Bah, darkness and beasts, rocks and caves, and two people at his side that took off darting at the first light they could see. The youth was not surprised, and well knew pretty damn well that shit happened like this all the time. He was raised in the wilderness of all places, in the mountains were the wild things live. But this was getting to become tedious, running, killing, running some more, killing more than the running, then sitting down to eat after it was all said and done. “We… done running?” Skaren asked, standing fully as he stretched his arms overhead. |
