The Way Of Nature

The Land of Avalon is a freeform medieval/fantasy roleplaying site loosely based on Arthurian lore. Avalon is home to many friendly members, administrators, and position holders, most of whom are always willing to RP, no matter how new a person might be to the site. With a large shop system full of various spells, items, and equipment no two characters are the same. He was referring to her snarling. She seemed to be clutching a small knife. Seth made a cautionary note in the back of his mind to keep an eye on it, but so far nothing the girl had done made him feel even the slightest concern for his own health. As his eyes casually took in her form, he could see that she was indeed young, a girl really, but a girl on the cusp of womanhood... and this was beginning to put ideas in his head. Unsavory ideas. One corner of his mouth curving upward, Seth's emerald eyes narrowed on the girl. "But if you'd like, I could give you a... purpose..." He took another step toward her, and the emotion burning in his eyes became clear: Lust.

She felt a new emotion rolling off him, it felt familiar, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it... Suddenly a memory pushed itself into her brain, it was a memory from a while back. The memory was just a night at a Tavern where a man who had obviously too much to drink was staring at a woman, she realised the same emotion was rolling off hi-... Oh God... His intention was too clear... She reacted immediately when the man took a step towards her. She kicked off the ground, throwing her back, intending on putting as much distance between her and the man as she could. She ripped her dagger from its sheath. "Don't you dare touch me" Serenity hissed, her tone of voice menancing with a hint of disgust. There was absolutely no way she was going to let him make a whore out of her...

"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way, and personally I have no preference, so it's entirely up to you." Well, no, that was a lie. While Seth was perfectly happy intimidating a female into having sex, nothing beat the primal joy, the sheer power he felt, in completely dominating a woman, her submission a foregone conclusion. The hard way was definitely his way. "So what'll it be?" Two seconds after he spoke, Seth finally sprang into action; the druid lunged at the girl, his free hand going for her throat while he sought to deflect her dagger with his scimitar.

She thought, as the man continued to advance towards her. Obviously unintimidated by her words... God of Luck... I suggest you watch your back for the next millenia or so... Serenity knew too well and could only agree that her small dagger would be absolutely no match against a scimitar... That's why she wasn't going to use it... She spun away the second he lunged at her, her skin rippled as she did, she felt her bones crack and reform into a new structure and sliver fur emerged from her skin. No longer a girl stood in her place, but a large silver-furred wolf. All of her fanged teeth showed as she let a feral snarl rip out of her throat... Edited by Serenity, May 27 2009, 07:05 PM.

This gave him a perfect view of the girl's unexpected transformation. He was unfazed by it, but made a noise of approval, and one of his dark eyebrows rose with interest. "So, the pup has more bite than she originally barked with, eh?" the druid remarked airily. Now, if she'd transformed into a dragon or even a tiger he'd understandably feel worried, but a wolf? Bah. He'd taken wolves in the past. Mind you, that was before he'd angered the gods and lost the knowledge of most of his spells... Oh well. 'Don't start what you can't finish' and all that rot, eh? He kept his scimitar pointed directly at the wolf-girl's face, but drew back his other hand and concentrated; a second later his fingers crackled with blue sparks of electricity. "Well then? C'mon puppy, let's play; if you're good maybe I'll even take you for a walk," he taunted.

This was bad. Whenever she used her wolf form, she was able to intimidate her opponents, she was counting on fear, but luck was not on her side this time. Her ears twitched when she heard the crackle of electricity... And her luck was only getting worse by the second... He was using magic. Despite the building fear that threatened to overtake the Lycan, she kept a brave face and only let out another vicious snarl. She lunged at him, keeping aware of his hand the crackled with electricity...

Rather than side-stepping her charge, the druid fell into a crouch and held his electrified hand out before him, directly in her path. If she did not dodge and plowed right into him, she was going to get a nasty shock - literally. Seth then planned to swipe at her flanks with his scimitar while she was stunned. This was fun, he didn't want to kill her - yet.

Her wolf form had just enough endurance to shake herself out of a shock attack, if she was in her human form she probably would already be unconcious... It was only luck that let her dodge the blade, the second time she was quite sure she won't have that much luck. She swiped her claws at his head, ready to back away incase he tries another attack with his magic...

You actually hit me!" he cried. "There may be hope for you yet!" The electricity dissipated from his hand from now, as Seth wished to conserve his energy, but he felt fine; he could call it back at anytime - which would hopefully just add to the wolf-girl's worries. Blood trickled from the deepest of the cuts her claws had made; an open gash just above his right eye caused a red rivulet to run down the side of his face. But, it wasn't in his eye, impeding his vision, so the druid paid it no heed. Seth then lowered the tip of his sword and darted forward, feigning right at the last moment and bringing the scimitar up in a sweeping arc that left a cloud of dust in its wake. H was roughly aiming for her shoulder, but if the wolf-girl made one wrong move she could lose her head or some other part of her body. Seth secretly hoped she would be smart enought o avoid it, but if not... Well, her thick pelt would make excellent winter clothing.

Her eyes caught him feighting raight, she quickly darted to the left, the tip of his blade onl leaving a scar the exteded from her neck past her shoulders. Fortunately it wasn't a deep wound... She quickly turned round and aimed her claws at him...
