"Well..." Reiku pondered and was about to reply when Ami had broken into a song. He looked at her strangely and raised an eyebrow. She was...strange. Well, no point telling her since these people seemed to be very distracted at the moment. One look at Reid and she just shrugged her shoulder

A man had walked in and approached him. His hand was extended so Reiku took it and shook it. Well, it seems that his name had reached the seas. That wasn't good. No one was supposed to know his name. Well, at least he thinks that no one should. It was a bit in mentality that he should remain unknown to most of the people. Better if some didn't realize he existed. There must have been something he did. Well, that may be not much of a trouble.

One thing, these people seemed to be interacting with each other. That was a good thing. Well, good but not if it's too much. Good ol' TuRea had informed the newcomer in a short number of words so there was no point in repeating it.

"Master..." Reid called out to him and approached. She then whispered something in his ear. Some information he might like.

After John spoke the Wolf-Anthro replied;

"Well, Mister Hardy, other than these two people here," he indicated the boy and girl, "trying to help us find a good place to hide the guild permanently, and the fact that they seem to completely ignore any other than themselves, you've missed very little. Call me TuRea."

The creature stuck out his hand, having changed into a more humanoid form. John took the profered limb briefly, out of forced politness, but the look of disgust on his face spoke for his true feelings. Anthro pirate crews had been a bane upon his childhood, raiding and destroying his grandfather's fleet, dog Anthros infiltrating their town and causing a massacre. It was his Grandfather's fault really, having started a fued with a barbarian lord, but then again John had little love for the old man either and it did not change his feelings about those Animals.

Turning away he adressed the gathered company "I suggest the mountains or Gramarye - either has many isolated valleys and Islands, perfect for our purpose, for they are both difficult locations to stumble upon and any who do stumble upon it would dissapear and it would be attributed to the wild. I would suggest the westlands but it could make journey to and fro difficult. Of course for the purposes of gathering information a base in a settlement like Avalon city or the Town of Bards, though that would entail disguising the guildhouse. My best choice however, is the four souls forest near pirate cove. It is a hidden location in the wilds, near impossible to find without direction and near the ports of pirate cove - where anything is available for a price."

John smiled, seeing someone enter and whisper something to Reiku, John's was curious turning in his seat he looked over inquiringly, waiting for Reiku to reveal this new information.

TuRea laughed as the man shook his hand, not really hiding a hint of disgust, distaste, and many other dis- words the anthro couldn't think of at the moment. He'd quickly grown to take this view of anthros in stride. Not everyone can be liked by, or like, everyone. But as long as there were no snide remarks, he was fine to let the man have his issues until he grew accustomed to TuRea.

"Don't worry, Mister Hardy. I promise I take a flea bath every other day. HaHaHaHaHa! But seriously, It isn't my place to try and change your mind, but honestly, wouldn't you rather have an animal like me working with you than against you? HaHaHaHaHa!"

"...My best choice however, is the four souls forest near pirate cove. It is a hidden location in the wilds, near impossible to find without direction and near the ports of pirate cove - where anything is available for a price."

TuRea liked this guy, he wasn't sure why, but he did. And it was a plus that he answered the topic at hand quickly without going of on tangents at all.

TuRea saw Reiku conferring with the cat-lady, and his ears 'perked' up as he awaited the news.

"Well, I see you're all interested...well, almost," Reiku commented and shot the comment at the two that had a bit of a short attention span. He may need to tell them that in a any way, being blunt usually his preferred one. But that wasn't for now, there were more important things at hand.

"Reid has informed me and suggested two things. First, the guild being in the desert. It's easy to hide with a few wind and other spells. Second, the guild will be underground a city. It would be much harder work but would prove to be effective. Now, I need your inputs people, comments, suggestions, violent reactions will meet my blade however."

John listened to Reiku's reply;

It would be much harder work but would prove to be effective. Now, I need your inputs people, comments, suggestions, violent reactions will meet my blade however."

John thought on this for a short time before coming back with his answer. "I approve of taking it beneath a city - for a guild that deals in rumours and knowledge an isolated position would be impractical to say the least. What desert would it be though? For I can think only of the desert of lost souls, an isolated and barren place."

"Like the Under The City Idea, Boss. But, um... in a desert? I mean... a place without forrests, and water, and anything? I'm ready for anything, but does it [/i]have[/i] to be a desert... wolves don't work well in barren wastelands..." TuRea ended lamely. He'd never actually been anywhere where there wasn't a hint of trees and forrests before.

"Will there at least be ample transportation to and from this desert if we have a contract anywhere near civilization?" He asked. He was already resigned to go if that was the best choice there was, but he hoped that nobody knew of a good place in a desert to station.

"i agree with him on the whole desert issue" stryk gestured toward the wolf man, " i really would enjoy having water around. but that idea about under a city. i like that. there we would be able to bring in water from the surrounding earth. but there would have to be multiple escapes. underground is an easy place to get stuck. we would also need some sort of support, to hold up the dirt. if we find a city near a forest we may be able to bring in wood from it to use as supports for the tunnels."

"Well, it would be safe to conclude that majority will be in favor of that under the city," He nodded and placed his feet up upon the table. Manners scmannners, he wasn't one to follow proper table etiquette. Keyword: proper table. They weren't having a meal after all. They were correct, it would indeed be an issue to place a headquarters in the dessert. Travel would be too hard and there were still a few of them. Not much to be actually a good number. Plus, he doubt that they knew their ways around the desert like he did.

"I was thinking of the city of Trevena. It is where most of the people gather and would be a good place for business as well. Oh, I'll be looking around for my connections, going to get us jobs, artifacts to steal and, of course, targets to kill. I still have yet to organize the system of command of the guild but we'll need more people to do so. Nevertheless, your activity and loyalty will do great wonders for you if you aim for a position."

John nodded, recognising the logic of Reiku's decision. "Travena it is then," he said loudly, "And now friends, I am afraid I must take my leave of you." He stood from his seating position nodded to each member in turn and turned to leave. as he reached the door he turned and spoke, "May Kael watch over you all." before exiting the room.

Outside John began to walk off into the darkness, after all there was much to be done and everything to be learnt...

Ami was being quiet the whole time. They had good ideas. But she did it because a friend of her was teling her that someone was out there. Could be a new memeber. But her friend was not sure what the intent of that "someone" was. She didn't show anything about this in her face. And looked like she was listening to the others.
"Well, I could check out things in Travena. Never heard of any spot underground that is empty or abandoned. And that was a week ago last I checked. But it's is a rumor about a large place under a building that was a hideout for a famous nin-clan. My clan have tried to find it for ages. It is said to be the best hiding spot ever existing. But then again, it's only a rumor," she said after Reiku said Tavena could be a good spot to be in.

"Then there is nothing more to discuss," Reiku told them as he stood up and brushed the dust that had gotten on his clothing. Reid followed suite and got up as well. "I will send you a letter via one of my scouts or by a gargoyle. I'll be seeking hirings for assassinations and thievery. If you'll be up for the job then there might be a reward for you. Better if you finished it with close to perfection."
