| - Xue Jian was trained by his grandfather, Sou Jian, in the "Arts of the Spirit Sage" for his entire life, and he continues to practice them on his own even now. These arts cultivate a strong but flexible body, a clear mind, and most importantly, a razor sharp spirit. With time and training, Xue Jian's spirit has been honed to such a degree that it can manifest physically as "spirit force" (magic). With spirit force, Xue Jian is able to display abilities known as "Sage Arts" that rise above those of other ordinary beings. |
