The Land of Avalon is a freeform medieval/fantasy roleplaying site loosely based on Arthurian lore. Avalon is home to many friendly members, administrators, and position holders, most of whom are always willing to RP, no matter how new a person might be to the site. With a large shop system full of various spells, items, and equipment no two characters are the same. With character races ranging from elves and humans to dragons, chimeras, and demons Avalon welcomes a wide range of races and RP skill levels. From the Northern Lands holding word limits suited for beginners to the West for the more advanced, no one is too inexperienced to join in on the fun. With a variety of deities and elemental guardians, kings and nobility to pledge to (or oppose) there is no shortage of roleplaying opportunity. i n n o c e n c e Posts: 198 Group: Away Member #4,762 Joined: May 30, 2008	The Suggestion/Idea Forum is for the members of Avalon to offer any advice or thoughts on how to improve Avalon in a way so our roleplayers will be more satisfied. This is where you give your input and suggestions - rather than telling us how we can run the site better, give us your ideas! It's easy to say that you could do a better job, much harder to actually back it up. Rules The Suggestion/Idea Forum is where members can suggest ideas that could be beneficial to all of Avalon, and the site as a whole. This is not a personalized, "I should be allowed to do this, BAH," section. Anyone can post in this forum, as a topic starter, or replier. Remember your manners. Being open-minded is a must. Just because an idea isn't something you would like, doesn't mean that it is "bad" or "sucky". Rude, unkind and inappropriate replies will result in a warning. Name your suggestion topic appropriately. We want to know what your topic is all about! (example: A rule change suggestion topic named; "Rule Change Suggestion".) Please do not suggest price changes just because you can't afford the item that you want. We feel bad for you, kind of, but we won't change it just because you want it to be that way. Any items that are mispriced will be brought to our attention as we overhaul the shops. Suggesting items for the shops or custom items: DO NOT DO IT HERE. This is not the place for custom item requests, you can post them in >this< forum. Any custom item requests posted here will be transferred to the appropriate forum. NEW LANDS: We are not looking for new lands. This forum has enough boards as it is. You may post your land ideas here, however, do not be offended if it is turned down. If we want more lands, we will ask and likely make an announcement. A Note on Internet Courtesy: Since we are all communicating via a text-based medium, all replies may sound colder or meaner than they are meant to appear. What I find helps is if you read your reply once or twice aloud, and think about what it might look like to someone reading it. We are all human and make mistakes, but do not be surprised if something you say or reply to is misconstrued as inappropriate or rude. Sarcasm, as a general rule, does not translate well into text. Neither does any sort of humor that relies on inflection in the voice. Please keep this in mind whilst posting. Thank you!
