Teddy was in quite the mood today. He felt like being gloomy, but rather he found himself drunken happy. He had put quite the scare on a toddler and a mother this morning, walking through the door and detaching his head. The mother passed out and the baby started screaming louder than a banshee. The husband arrived soon enough, still pulling up his trousers after a trip to the out house. Teddy was gone before then. Well, his body anyway. For the laughs, he left his head on the corner of the table.

He retrieved it of course, after their mid day meal. They shared a pleasantly disturbing conversation. They had even offered to feed the head. He just made one of his eyes pop out and his jaw slack. The baby screeched and the wife gave the husband a stern look at his startled remark. Of course, both eye was returned and jaw realigned. This was the most pleasant scare ever. A nice meal and some dinner conversation with someone who had been dead for a century or two. He got his body to return and take the head, bidding the family good bye and heading away.

He was at the base of the Cloudsweep peaks then. And now, he was at the top. Or near so. He had gotten bored again and after frightening a bunny into jumping clean off of a 20 foot ledge, most of the entertainment had left. So he sat about and thought of what he could do. Grave diving was an option, but his last run wasn't too fun. Especially when you run into a mountain.
