HOT PINK CARROTS.
In recent times, the elements of the world were unbalanced; leading to chaos around the lands. The Oceans of Avalon had become a harsh and unforgiving place, the forces of wind and water uncontrolled. The end result was colossual waves and raging storms as far as the eye could see. A long time landmark of the oceans, the Glass Cliffs of the Pheonix, which shone bright at night; had become a graveyard, a grave yard of those who tried to sail there to escape the storms.

There were a good few men who had been able to escape the cliffs and with them they brought tales of the multitude of ships that lay there, crushed up against the glowing glass. There were many who boasted that they would sail there; but amongst the many, there were the few who intended to do so. One such man was the Norseman, Ivar Dragoncleaver.

Now, in a longboat crewed by a multitude of brave Thegns; The Norseman doing what the many were too afraid to attempt. Like a sword the Longboat cut through the waves, propelled on by the sweat of the Thegns. The crew rowed tirelessly against the savage waves, propelling the ship through the midst of the storm. The Norseman Ivar was standing towards the front of the ship, as the waves crashed against the bow.

The armor clad man was soaked by the waves, ever article of his clothing coated in saltwater. He stood in an almost kingly manner at the front of the ship, an arm extended to grasp one of the thick ropes run through the mast. The savage winds and the rains did nothing to deter him, the promise of wealth awaiting.

As day changed to night in the midst of the storm, The Glass Cliffs lit up like a beacon in the distance; the orange light peircing through the storm. Without the stars to navigate the ship had drifted off course, the light of the cliffs penetrating through the darkness off the right bow. The sight made Ivar grin lightly, as if the gods themsevles were in his favor. "Turn the ship, We have loot to gather" The norseman barked to his crew, pointing off towards the light in the distance. And with that the men on the left side rowed less, causing the ship to lurch to the right before they began to row again.

Lo there do I see my father,
Lo there do I see my mother, my brothers, and my sisters,
Lo there do I see the line of my people,
Back to the beginning,
Lo they do call to me and bid me take my place among them,
In the halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave may live forever
