[Note:: If more then two people join a posting order will be added here] Caves deep in the mountains are known for their enemies and traps, frightful situations but never has an event been recorded like this one. The horror of what lies within it and what came after the entrance of this cavern seems so long ago but will live in the mind of the saviours for as long as their lives move on. Let the story begin:- Harmony a fair young half elven girl found herself at the base of Cloudsweep Preaks looking for adventure really, she had spent her life looking for answer to who her mother was and who she was in a sense, Harmony only knew about half of herself, the human half and although she knew she was a half-elf she knew nothing of the sub-race of elf her mother was or anything about the elven side of her. Hiking up the moutains beaten path the girl brushed back her white blond hair and a small tabby kittens head peered over the pocket of her jacket. One hand on top of the hilt of her broadsword while the other stroked the small kittens head Harmony smiled at the sense of adventure she loved. About an hour up the mountain the girl had passed many caves but found herself stopping outside of one in particular, she was tired and thirsty and could hear the faint sound of running water from within; assuming this to be a river or something she entered, following the sound. There was a musk smell with a hint of something fowl in the air but the fair half elf ignored this and proceeded. A short way into the cold stone cavern the room seemed to warm up slightly but Harmony paid this no mind and headed to the sparkling clear water. As she knelt down to scoop up some water she felt movement and the small kitten had flung itself at her and she'd fallen backwards, forgetting how thirsty she was and scolding the kitten she turned to the river which was now no longer a crystal clear water but a molten lava river. "What the..." Harmony looked quizical as she scooped up the kitten heading for the door which at the time she did not take note that it seemed to have moved. Walking down the lit tunnel she soon realised the change in direction and that she was no longer heading out. "Hello?" Harmony's soft voice called, wondering what on earth was going on. |

Rivfader spent the next day just relaxing in his own cave eating on the doe he shot. He decided to step our of his cave and take a look around. While admiring the large trees and the beautiful, and fresh, snow on the ground, he noticed there were some tracks that lead to the East. This peaked his interested and he began to follow them. After going only about half of a mile, he heard the voice of a female echo the word "hello" from a nearby cave. He didn't mind solitude, but had spent too much time in it, and wouldn't mind the company. He began to follow the tracks at a brisk jog until after only a few hundred feet came upon the cave that the noise was emanating from. "Hello?" he replied into the cave, hoping whoever it was hadn't gone too far into the cave to hear him. |
