Xir was in another one of his random walks and travels. He had no parents to tie him down, he had ran from the orphanage. For now, he was stealing some money so he can buy the necessities. He's a good one at it, given at how long he has been on his own. The problem with him is that he gets tired of one thing too quickly and he immediately tries to go find something else to do. That led him here, to some place that he doesn't know. How he wished that it was winter already. His breath was always of frost and he looked out of place if the area around him was not filled with snow or cold at all. He went skipping about and soon found himself in a forest. This was good, usually forests hold many things. He skipped as he walked deeper into the forest. Suddenly, the ground underneath him gave way, leading to a small but deep animal trap. "Ow ow ow..." He rubbed his head as he looked up. It was no good. It was too high for him to reach. He started to cry out for help, hoping that someone would come to his aid. |

Kanta sighed softly as she drifted along the path that she started following to nowhere. The being trying to think of exactly where she needed to go to get to where she wanted to go. But nothing in this area was helping her memory, so she just kept walking. Long silver hair moved gently with the slight movement of her walking and breeze. She soon found herself in a forest area, where she heard a strange echo yelling for help from what she could pick up. "Hmmm this should be interesting." She thought to herself as she walked calmly towards the yelling. Her duel colored eyes glanced around the area where she found a hole in the ground, and walked over towards it. This was the place where she heard the yelling come from. Leaning over the edge she looked down to see someone stuck in the trap. She smirked finding it very funny to see someone was stuck in such a trap. "Well you sure got your self into a deep situation didn't you?" She said chuckling a little bit, and then glanced around. There was a rope hanging on a tree probably meant for the trap when they went to go get the animal that was trapped. So she walked over grabbed the rope, then threw the one end down into the hole and would wait for him to pull himself up. She tied the other end up to a tree so that she wouldn't have to work that hard to hold his weight. |

"No. Actually, this is just the place where I wanted to end up in. Care to join me?" He told her sarcastically with an innocent smile to pair with it. As soon as she disappeared from view he sighed a bit then thought of a way to play a prank on her. It was already a mischievous nature of his and he would jump at every excuse to play a prank on someone. He tugged on the rope that fell in the hole and started to hoist himself up. He heard her footsteps die down a bit and heard the tying up of the rope. "Aw, man," He told himself as he knew that she tied it around a tree. And he wanted to pull her in the hole when he gets out as a means of payback too. He sighed he got up and out of the hole. He was almost out of it when he hatched an idea when he saw a part of the rope that was worn out. He pretended to slip and fall back in, hanging on to rope with one hand. He climbed again and slipped again on purpose. He did it several times and the rope started to wear out. "Little help, please?" He pleaded in his most innocent tone. |

The being sighed when his first words to her was something sarcastic, not exactly a way you want to react to someone who can save your life. "Oh well" She said to herself as she waited for him to pull himself out of the hole. She got the sense that this kid was a joking type of person, though she wouldn't know for sure until she actually talked to him more. Her arms were crossed as she stood near the edge watching him climb up the rope, but near the top he started to slip. Her eyes looked at him suspiciously when he asked for help. "I don't see why you need help, how hard is it to climb a rope honestly?" She asked before sighing deeply and walking over to where he was. Kneeling down she stretched out her hand to him having a strange feeling that this day would be more then she could handle. |

A small grin formed in his lips but he tried his best to hid it. He looked up at her with an innocent smile and started to climb again. As soon as he almost reached her hand, the rope snapped perfectly the way he wanted it. He held on the the end of the rope that was still tied to the tree and held her hand. He chuckled to himself as he pulled her too much and he ended up pulling her into the hole. Of course, it was on purpose and as she fell in, he climbed up via the short rope that was unreachable from below. After climbing up, he sat on the edge of the hole and looked down at her. His innocent expression was replaced with a very mischievous grin and his red eyes narrowed, giving more of that trickster impression. "Hehe, I gotcha!" He said cheerfully as he toyed with the rope in his hands. He picked up a few small stones and started throwing them at her. They were smaller than a marble and he doubt that she'd get hurt from it. |

His innocent smile made the being curious as she kept her stance to help him. Then the rope snapped, before he reached her hand, then took her hand. This was when things went wrong, he tugged at her to hard to where she lost her balance and fell into the hole. She managed to turn herself around quick enough in mid-air so that she would land on her hands and feet. Since landing on her back would have caused her some pain it the bone of her wing would have hit the ground first. Kanta took more care of that bone, more then when she had her wings, because she had once tried to rid of the bone but it caused her extreme pain. So she just left it and makes sure that it doesn't get hit in any way shape or form. She stood up and looked up at the boy and tighten her fist. "Kid, You know I didn't have to help you at all and I could have left you to die." She said in an angered voice before having small pebble like rocks thrown at her. She worked on dodging them the best she could as she got more pissed off at the kid. |

"Yeah, but you didn', did ya'?" He laughed a bit and threw a few more pebbles at her. "But I was bored. If you had helped me get out, you'd leave after, didn' ya? This way, I get to play with ya' s'more. But 'tis boring. You're no fun at all." He leaned back and lay down on the cold earth with his feet dangling down into the hole. He looked up the sky and tried to think of something fun to do. He thought she'd be laughing at his prank but she wasn't so to him, she was no fun at all. "You're booooooooring," He told her as he reached out and stretched his arms upward in emphasis. He sat up again and looked at her. A small grin in his lips. "Ne, ne, ne, want to get out? I'll get you out if you promise not to kill me and play with me 'nstead. What's d'ya say?" |

Kanta looked up at the kid while dodging the last few pebbles. Then she placed her hand on her hip while looking up and sighed. "Kid, I been around for a long time and I can tell you this isn't fun. But no I probably wouldn't have left right away." The kid disappeared from her sight, only his feet were visable to her now. Then she heard him say how boring she was and she could only sigh. While she rubbed her eyes for a few seconds out of annoyance. Then she looked back up to see the kid looking down at her with a small grin, something that she didn't like very much. Her arms crossed as her silver hair shifted with her movements. "All I have to do is stay and play with you? If that gets me out of this damned hole then I will do what ever you want. And It isn't like i could kill you that easily anyways. I don't own a single weapon..." Though she wished she had a couple at the moment. Though she would wait to see what the kid would do. |

"Hihihi," He giggled, a bit maniacally though, a bit and looked down at her with a sly grin on his face. "So you agreed to play with me then? But what would prevent you from running away from me once I let you out? After all, I am...just a kid...right?" He laughed a bit and looked at her, grinning playfully, his eyes narrowed as he awaited her answer. Now, he can really get her out of there, he was sure about that. Though, it would disappoint him if she were to run away. He didn't mean any harm. He just wants to play. Though, he may, at times, have the tendency to go a bit overboard, he really doesn't mean any harm. Though, he really enjoyed it if he can annoy people and play with them more. He found the rash attitude of annoyed people somewhat more amusing that those calm people. Which is why he would annoy people on purpose. |

Kanta sighed again and shook her at at the kid. "When I say something I mean it. Besides I have a feeling that even if I tried to run you would find some way to stop me anyways. It is not like I can fly away or anything, so can you just let me out please." She said still slightly annoyed with the kid, knowing that he had something else plotting in his mind, and probably wouldn't let her out til he was good and ready. For all she knew he would act like he is helping her out, and then let her drop back into the hole. She could only hope that the kid would let her out, and deal with the fact that she would have to stick around for a while to make him happy. Though it has been years since Kanta last had fun in a normal way. Since her sense of fun is fighting and killing normally. Flying use to be the only other time she had fun, but that was taken from her so since then she hasn't really experienced much fun in her life. |

"Well, then, stand back," He told her as held up his right hand. A spear of ice formed in his hands. He hurled it at the other side of the pit and the spear had stabbed on it. He formed another spear and did the same, this time a little above the first. And another and another, forming a makeshift ladder from icicle spears. He placed his hands to the ground behind him and leaned back, his feet kicking playfully in the air. "Go on, then. You can climb up that, can you?" He asked her with a sly smile, trying to make her think that he was going to pull something off while she was climbing. Truth was, he wasn't planning on anything. He just liked making her uncomfortable. Besides, she already said she'll play with him anyway. He'll make sure she sticks around for a while...one way or the other. |

Kanta looked up and the kid, and then stood back like he asked wondering what he was going to do. She then took another step back when a spear of ice stabbed into the side of the ground. Her first thought came to mind was how come he didn't do that when he had gotten stuck instead of asking for help. Glancing up at him then back at the ice made stairs she walked over to the lowest one. "Yeah I can climb, I am not that helpless." She said pulling her self up onto the ladder of ice. Carefully she climbed up keeping a watchful eye out on the kid. After she reached the top she glanced down at the whole then looked back up at the kid. "Why didn't you do that before when you were stuck in the hole. I mean its obvious you didn't need any help what so ever." She pulled her silver hair back and let it fall once again to straighten it out a bit. "Who are you anyways?" Her duel colored eyes stared at the kid with a slight hint of curiosity. |

"Hihi," He chuckled to himself childishly as he finished forming a stairs for her and she had told him the she was not that helpless. He just watched as she kept alert on what he would do. He was making her wary and he was enjoying it. He found it amusing that people will think he's going to do something. Surely, he must have surprised her. Which was what he wanted to do most of the time, surprise people and keep them wary or nervous. "That would have been boring, wouldn't it?" He smiled at her as she managed to get out of the pit. He was telling the truth, though, he didn't expect someone else coming to his aid. If no one would have come, he would just escape on his own. "I'm Xir. Pronounced as Sheer. What be the name of my annoyed victim?" He stuck out his tongue at her, calling her a victim of his pranks. |
