It had taken a mere week or so of hard travel from the Cape of Darkness in the Southern Lands to the deserted, supposedly-haunted castle of Indrea also south of the Cloudsweeps. All the while, Glorfindel had made good on not being noticed by anyone, avoiding the roads and towns on the way, as he carried his latest captive to his lair, for he had made Indrea his own headquarters to further his plans of reviving Reman Monotheril, the Warlock of the North. She was kept bound by three coils of rope, one binding her hands behind her back, two more binding her knees and ankles, and blindfolded so she could not tell where they were going or where they even were whenever he would stop for rest and relaxation every night, when he would unravel her from the shroud he carried her in so as to avoid her being incinerated by the sun when he travelled by day. He kept her fed and watered to keep the vampiress alive, but he hadn't let her feed on humans for that week, for he had a feeling he would need more than pain to break this one. She had toyed with him somewhat when he'd captured her, and all of his threats of pain was met by gleeful anticipation. Glorfindel, instead, opted for a more attritious form of torture that even a masochist wouldn't love: hunger. Now, he would continue with his process of breaking the beautiful vampiress. He crossed under the portcullis leading into Indrea's market-town, or whatever was left of it, and proceeded to the ruined castle. Once inside, he made his way into the throne room and then unwrapped Tristanis Valentine from her shroud. Once he'd done so, he tossed her to the ground before the dais that his throne sat atop, mounting them and then sitting in his regal chair. "Welcome to my humble abode", he slithered, removing Whtie Blood from his back and hanging it by the baldric from one of the corners, "Make yourself at home." |

When Trist was able to hear and "see" again she noticed that she was being fed. Trist noticed that what he was feeding her was not a human which really did not bother her at all. All she had to do was hold back the issue that always kept her feeding on meer humans. Trist felt Glorfindel unwrap her which made her smile. Her smile was wept away when he threw her to the ground. She landed on her side and could not break the fall due to the fact that she was still tied up. After Trist made sure her head would not hit the ground she then snapped her head towards him and stared. Hearing what he said made her laugh a bit. All she could think of was one thing. "Why the hell is he telling me to make myself at home if i am still tied up and if he wants to torture me/keep me hostage?" Her mind kept thinking about what he would do to her, no what he could do to her. Being in an actual home kind of scared her seeing as she was the kind who slept in the woods and never thought of settling down especially in a place like the one she was in. Not knowing where she was creeped her out as well. "Where are we exactly?" After Trist had spoken she attempted to look around. Edited by Tristanis Valentine, Feb 10 2009, 07:55 AM.

"Ah, my dear vampiress", ticked Glorfindel, waving and index finger back and forth while making a "tck" sound with his voice again and again, "that is for me to know and you to not find out until I can fully trust you. Suffice to say that we're in a place that no one will think to look for you or me at all and that no one is coming to rescue you. You are mine, little Tristanis, in both body and mind, and at the end of all of this you will be broken to me, Miss Vallentine." "Ah, but where are my manners", he rhetorically asked with a mock-formal tone of politeness, "You can't make yourself as home whilst you sit on my floor trussed up like a Winter Ball goose! Allow me to....help you there!" At his exclamation the unstable elf-demon kicked Tristanis full in the stomach, for he had dismounted his throne and was walking toward her during his monologue, which would surely wind her, masochism or not, and allow him to perform his next acts. He untied her knees, ankles, and wrists, and then began his work: first removing her boots, baring her pale feet, then her pants and shirt, displaying her well-defined legs and torso to him as he removed her undergarments and breast-coverings, fully exposing the stunning vampiress to the world before her. She would probably enjoy this, but he had other methods of breaking prey, even if they did enjoy the pain of humiliation. He rebound the vampiress' wrists, ankles, and knees, and then threaded a second length of rope from her barefeet. Using his Elven agility, Glorfindel jumped a full bound up the throne room and through the rungs of a chandilier of candles above them, threaded the rope through them as one threads a sewing needle. When he touched back down, Tristanis Vallentine had been hoisted up, upside-down and nude, and was hanging, bound helpless, by her ankles from the ceiling above. "So, my sparkling beacon of beauty", he slithered, sitting on his heels so his face was eye-level with Tristanis', "Do you like it whenever a man you pick up gets....experimental?" Glorfindel's tongue came out from behind his teeth, licking Vallentine's lips before kissing her full-on upon them. |

Trist started to toss and turn while screaming due to her drastically vivid nightmares. When Trist finally woke up she stretched and climbed out of the bed and threw her cloths on, well except her shoes. Trist felt hungry but no where near as hungry as she was last night. While walking down to the room she was in last night Trist tried to remember exactly what happened but couldn't really remember anything. Trist noticed that she could feel the cold floor upon her feet and realized that she wasn't wearing any shoes at all. This made her wonder about any other time she would be barefoot but only one thing came to mind. The one single time that she could remember ever being barefoot was when she wandered through the Enchanted Forest for the first time. Trist smiled upon that memory because she was able to remember her parents and sisters. The thought of running around barefoot through any wooded area made her smile and made her want to be barefoot all the time. Trist never thought that she could get so in tough with nature by just merely walking barefoot. After a while of walking she started to look around the place she was in and started to wonder where exactly she was. Before turning around the corner she stopped for a moment and looked at her feet again. "What is with me today?" After that she continued walking until she saw Glorfindel. She walked towards him and stopped a few feet away and partially smiled and slightly bowed her head before she spoke. "Mourning Master." Trist noticed after she lifted her head back up that any other time she said the word 'master' she would hate it but now she seemed to take the new term and praise it, well praise Glorfindel. While waiting for him to speak she started to think about what he needed her for again but failed seeing as she really couldn't remember much.

"So, you survived the ordeal", greeted Glorfindel as Tristanis Vallentine's barefeet padded into his precense, "It is good to see that you possess a strong physical fortitude. Many would be bedridden from pain the likes of which you suffered last night. It is good to see you up and about the morning after, at least. I am also satisfied that yoy obeyed the command I gave you, too. I didn't expect it to work." Glorfindel stood up from his throne and strode down the dais to where the vampiress stood below. After ordering her to stand still, the elf-demon strode around her several times, observing the tight corset and leather garments she donned herself in. After an examination of the girl's physical attributes, for she was rather spare-built in muscle but most vampires had great physical strength anyway. Her physical muscles were a weak indicator of her strength. Satisfied, Glorfindel mounted the steps back to his throne and sat upon it again, gesturing to a step below the level his throne was on: a nonverbal command for her to kneel before him. |

Trist smiled when he acknowledged her physical tolerance to pain. She grew a tad confused as to what he meant then she remembered that she was barefoot and this made her smile a bit more. When he strode down the throne steps she stood absolutely still the only part of her that was moving was her chest seeing as she had to breath. Trist relaxed her muscles as he sat upon his throne again. Seeing his gesture Trist slowly climbed the dais and knelt before him. Surprising to her she didn't speak much but she felt that she didn't need to. Waiting to hear what she had to say she started to play with a strand of her hair. |

"So tell me, little vampiress", began Glorfindel after sometime of Tristanis playing with her hair, "Had you known that surrendering to me would land you in your current predicament, would you have still given yourself up? I have a feeling that you wish you hadn't done so, because now your freedom and your life belong to me and me alone." Glorfindel asked his question and informed the vampiress of her new situation as a servant of the Dark Prince and Reman Monotheril. However, he also had a few other questions that she would have to answer to him as well. They would be peculiar, but she would be compelled to answer by the power that now held her. "Now, what are you best at", he asked, giving her a general inquiry for her to answer, "Are you skilled in combat? Or are you more skilled at.....different fields of servitude toward one such as me?" |

Trist took his question into some thought. "To be completely honest either way I would have still done it. That and i was never free so." Trist smiled a bit seeing as she was glad that her life was owned. It made her feel important. Trist laughed a bit as his next question seeing as she was skilled in fighting and in various other things that would help her new master. "To be honest again. I am capable of various things. Such as fighting, getting you things, and doing probably almost anything you ask. Why?" As she waited for his response she started to realize that he influenced her to walk around barefoot. She didn't mind but she started to wonder how strong the blood bond was between the two of them. "If you don't mind me asking. How strong is the Blood Bond between us. I must say I am rather curious." |

"I ask your abilities", the eld-demon replied, "because you are now my servant. I enslaved you to the Prince's will because we have a grand goal in mind and we are 'recruiting' servants to aid us in our cause. You, my little blossom, are merely the latest out of several others who have bowed to the will of the Dark Prince and Reman Monotheril, the Warlock of the North. He is the Great Evil we now serve, and he seeks a revival and a resurrgency of his unholy wrath upon this little world. As well, the Dark Prince is a rather ravenous sort of being, and you may be called upon to perform....other duties, to put it lightly." "If you must know about the Blood Bond", answered Glorfindel to Tristanis' other inquiries, "The Blood Bond is unbreakable and undeniable. If I ordered you to strip yourself naked and bind yourself using one of these", Glorfindel pulled from his long leather coat a long chain with shackles at one end, a neck-collar in the middle, and a pair of handcuffs at the other, "Then you would do so without complaint, even if your mind would oppose it. The Bond is strong and you are at my beck-and-call. However, the Prince may not use you for pleasurable favors. He may focus more on using your talents of stealth and combat to help further our goals." Edited by Glorfindel, Apr 23 2009, 05:13 AM.

Trist head and understood everything that her newly found master had said to her. Trist refrained from moving seeing as she was commanded to kneel by his throne. Her mind started to wander and she found herself thinking about what the Dark Prince would have her do. Her mind elimenated some aspects seeing as she could not accomplish goals. The main possibilities that she worked with had to do with her strenght, speed, seduction, stealth, and other various abilities. "So what would the Dark Prince like me to do first?" After speaking she realized that she was a bit to anxious to wait for her first task. Having something to do always made Trist feel at ease with herself. The unknown possibilities of what he could want from her made her extremely impatient to see what she could and could not accomplish. As her thoughts finished up she heard the familiar sound of two crows outside of the place she was in. The reccognition of two familiar creatures calmed her. After a moment she realized that she still had no idea where the hell she was. "If I may ask. Where are we?" |

"We are in the Southern Lands of Avalon, in the ruins of a great civilization", answered Glorfindel, indulging his new servant's question because he could now trust her with this information, "Indrea, this place is called, with this being the castle of the lost people that still stands even after thousands of years of decay. The Prince chose this castle because its rumored hauntings and secluded location allow us to be relatively undisturbed here." "What the Prince would like to see", began Glorfindel after a pause, answered Tristanis' other question, "is assess your prowess in combat through a sparring session with me. He wishes all of his minions to be efficient and skilled so that they may be useful in our tasks that will further bring about the ressurection of our master, your master as well, little vampiress. Here", Glorfindel reached behind his throne and pulled out a common-made longsword, sturdy and reliable in design, "you may use this weapon in our sparring. You may remain barefoot for this or you could shod your feet. The choice is your's. Now, you may stretch out and warm up any muscles you will need for combat. I do not wish to garner you a bad assessment based on cramping muscles." |

Trist smiled in recognition to where she was. She has never been inside this castle before but she has seen it. Trist honestly loved haunted places but she was never in the right mood to enter here. After being shocked a little she started to stretch every muscle in her body so that she could be ready if the pace or fighting style changed. Trist decided to stay barefoot seeing as her fighting skills did not differ with or with out her shoes. After she stretched she took the longsword from her master and took her stance. Trist watched her master closely and decided that in doing so would help her out in combat. What she really didnt like about the fight was that she had not obtained all the abilities that she was training her self for in her spare time when no one was around. Trist noticed that Phobos and Deimos were still outside and she decided that it would be best to not signal them in the fight seeing as they would probably get hurt or killed with the obvious skills that her master had. Trist had gotten bored with waiting so she took really fast steps forward sword in hand and slashed upward in an attempt to hit Glorfindel's chest. After that she started slashing in a few ways to start the fight. Edited by Tristanis Valentine, Apr 30 2009, 10:23 AM.

Her opening strike couldn't have illustrated her ability anymore than needed to the elf-demon. It was a strength-based slash, devoid of any technique or finesse. Her next few strikes were approximately the same, showing that she was a survivalist swordfighter. She didn't make her living by the weapon, but she knew enough to defend herself in the harsh world they lived in. Furthermore, she fought to survive when it came down to it, and this made her dangerous in many other ways than if she were a master swordswoman. First, she probably had no concept of honorable fighting, and would thus use any means neccessary to overcome her opponent. Second, she would improvise. Her lack of knowledge was both a weakness and a strength. Seeing as Tristanis was up against an opponent who had millenia more years of sword mastery than her, she would think of other means to defeat him. Her attacks glanced off from the blade of White Blood. She was testing him, that much was certain. She was apparently unsure of just how skilled he really was, so she needed to get a scope of him. However, her foot technique and lack of technical finesse with the blade made her an easy target, leaving numerous exploitable openings. She wasn't using much of her natural agility. Her barefeet, heels to toes, were locked firmly to the ground, she wasn't moving about on the balls of her feet, which most experienced swordsmen would do as it expanded their range of motion. And so, Glorfindel exploited a narrow opening to beat her blade aside and then bring his zweihander next to her ribcage, the flat of the blade gently resting against her side. "Again", commanded Glorfindel, withdrawing his weapon and taking his engarde stance once more. |

Trist noticed that Glorfindel had his sword up against her ribcage. She smiled when he had spoke the simple command word. Seeing that he had took his stance again she analyzed him for any further attacks. Her next movement was better than her first possible strikes against him. She had moved quicker than the last time and showed stronger strikes. The man difference from her first attack and her second was that she moved her feet from where they were and she pivited on the balls of her feet. In doing so showed her speed was much quicker than the last. The strikes she made to her master were a slash that went up ward then she spun around on the balls of her feet so that she grew closer to him and hit is sword again from that angle. After that she took a few steps backward and proceded again in a different way. This time she swung at his blade and twisted her wrist around so that his sword would move to the side so she could land a blow to his stomach. Edited by Tristanis Valentine, May 6 2009, 05:23 AM.

This time, the vampiress began to use flourishes and pirouettes to outmeneuver him, as he'd expected. She seemed to have learned faster than Narina had before her, and was now moving about on the balls of her feet instead of keeping the heels anchored to the ground. Her first attack he was able to parry, but then she pivoted forward, getting within his maximum range to make use of her shorter blade, and beat his blade a second time. Then, her true attack came. First, she slashed at his blade once more, intending to draw him away. When Glorfindel brought White Blood to bear in order to parry her attack, instead she quickly twisted her wrist, using her fingers to regain control of the blade much like a rapier fighter would. It was then, as his large swipe went wild, that the pommel of her sword hit Glorfindel square in his stomach, winding his mortal body and bringing him to his knees. This didn't stop him completely, however. The elf-demon quickly used his instincts and rolled to the left, bringing himself back up along the way. With White Blood in his left hand, Glorfindel took a low swipe at Tristanis' bare ankles, intending to drive her away from him more than anything. |
