The pirates that runned the ship the Amethyst Archer had booked passage on were some of the rudest, roughest and most stupid men Vasily has ever seen. There was hardly an insult tese men would not venture upon, they even held a small group of "women of ill reputation" on their ship. Days he had been at sea with these men, once he had to fight. The first mate barked an order at the Ranger and Vasily refused to move. The gruff man cracked his whip and aimed a second strike at Vasily's face, the Archer was too fast. With one motion he stepped forward and brought up his arm, the lashing tail of the whip wrapped around his arm instead of biting into the skin. A yank and a toss later the whip was thrown into the ocean. That had been three days before Vasily had sen the massive black shadow just under the surface of tha dep blue waters. The Ranger notched an arrow and fired the deadly barb into the water, the black shape quicky darted away from the boat. The next few days was a blur of nothing interesting, alot of heavy drinking from the crew and sharp orders from the single armed captain. Most of the time Vasily spent his time talkign with Ea Catriona in a quiet section of the deck. One day, the black shadow came back, and this time something was different. |

The great oceanic dragon Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar swam through the waters. Asmor for short to most who could not say his full name. He was following a particular boat, sensing that there was something bad aboard. When he had gotten closer, and the barbed arrow had been shot at him, his assumptions were correct. Either this boat was a bad thing, or there was somebody on board that was paranoid. He had dropped back and down, keeping a weather eye on the ship. After three days, he decided to go venture back up to the surface. No barbs flew at him this time. He decided, it was time to investigate. He turned, and dove strait down in the water, his fins propelling himself quickly. With a sudden turn under the water, he spun his whole body, and rocketed strait for the surface. With one last push, he launched his entire body out of the air, and snaked over the ship, barely missing the mast. He landed in the water, with a minor, but still large splash, water running over the deck. He dove back down, and snaked under the boat, to go back to the side he jumped from. There was a man who interested him there, and he wanted to find out more. |

There was no limit to both the Twin Souls as the sea dragon erupted from the ocean and flew over the Amethyst Archer's head. Drawing his sword he stood on the railing of the deck, waiting for the creature to come from the water again. Even if he couldn't kill it if the great beast was there to do harm to him or the women on the ship he would have none of it. The crewmen, Vasly cared less about. Boy! Open your mouth and let me speak through your tounge. Vasily did what Ea told him, he was almost suprised to feel his mouth move and words he knew were not that of man come from his lips. "Si mi vi darastrix lae algbo thurirl. Confn vur demak ve shafaer wer qumadosfan ti onureth coi." (I am a dragon as well friend. Come and join me on the ocean not under it.) After he was done talking the Amethyst Dragon put away his blade and stood with his arms crossed, still on the rail. |

As Asmor was gliding over the boat, he faintly caught the voice, speaking in draconic, saying that he was a fellow dragon. He quickly scanned around, and noticed the man with the sword, had one eye differently. As he darted back under the boat, he decided that that man, had more than meets the eye to him. He spun his body underwater, and stayed down for a bit. Thinking, about what the dragon had requested. He could not go on the boat, but if he tried to talk, was it an ambush. There were some sailors out here, that did not like the fact of him being around. Mainly, the pirates. After coming to a decision, he swam up to the surface, and sticking his head out of the water about ten feet, he looked down at the boat, and said back, testing the man. si mi terribly sorry sia thurirl. si cannot confn shafaer thaczil, ihk si tepoha thric legs usv tivol. si shilta ukris nomeno idol sjek wux huven though.(I am terribly sorry my friend. I cannot come on land, for I have no legs or anything. I can talk this way if you wish though.) |

The Dragon Knight laughed, the men on that ship, actually attack something? That would have made the dragon itself laugh if it had known those cowards of men. After his laughing fit stopped Vasily coughed a bit then replied to the massive Sea Dragon. "Si chiili ti huven ekess zexenuma zahae these ruliyna, astahii re ti wer bensvelk kind." (I do not wish to stay around these humans they are not the good kind.) Taking out a dagger from his belt the Dragon Ranger slashed his palm, the blood dripped to the water and a sudden fury took over Vasily's mind as his eyes turned a deep shade of Amethyst. His body began to change as the bond between human soul and dragon soul grew stronger. Wings ripped the skin of his shoulders and claws tore through fingernails, the process of Rebirth always hurt like hellfire. Jumping from the railing into the cool wind, the Reborn unfolded his wings with a soft thwump and he started to glide around the Ocean Dragon's head, then spoke with his mind into the other's. "si chiili huven ekess renthisj mrith wux, wux re wer ergriff lyrik darastrix si tepoha vucat di. sia ominak ui vasily nazar, svabol ui dout?" (I do wish to speak with you, you are the only other dragon I have known of. My name is Vasily Nazar, what is yours?) Edited by Vasily, Jan 25 2009, 06:13 AM.
