The sun was high in the sky as its bright yellow rays would shine down with great intensity, the heat would beat down on the ones below without mercy, and damn was it hot. The breeze was also swift, and it was in fact in favour of the boat, the sound of sails being thrown all about was quite aparent, and the incessant splashing of the water against the wood was all to audible. The air was thick with salt water and the smell of fish, but most of all you could smell the wetness of the wood the boat was constructed of, and with a flaring of his nostrils the sorceror inhaled sharply. Elbows were pointed downwards as he'd be leaning against the port side of the boat, staring down into the lucid depths that had seemed to stretch infinitely the shapeshifter longed to actually see something. It seemed as you traversed deeper and deeper into the ocean the aquatic life was far less noticeable, no longer did he see groups of dolphins nor whales swimming gracefully, instead all he could see was the occasional dark spot, and it seemed the moment amaranth slates would fixate their gaze 'pon their position it would simply submerge and move from sight. A sigh was given, and rotating himself 180 degrees Sozen would now have the small of his back pressed into the roughly constructed railings, and with eye wide he'd watch his fellow pirates at work as they would navigate the ship, and with slow movements he'd prop himself upwards before standing straight.

"Slow, slow day.." Words were quiet and sounded almost sad as they'd roll of his lips.

He was of course referring to the fact they'd been traveling to a far-off destination, and it would be another few days before they'd even reach, but Sozen knew when they did they'd alas have another raid to initiate, and as usual the sorceror would often pay the captain a visit to go over last minute planning. Eastern appendage was soon raised partially, and with a single digits erect upwards the tip of his thumb was brought to his mouth, and with teeth pushing down he'd lightly begin the process of nibbling on the ends of his fingernails.

Waking up by running into a wooden wall was never fun. Surely the laziest of the crew, the toe-headed woman rolled from her bunk, rubbing her head with bare feet hitting the floor. Today was her day off. She didn't put on her boots.

Stretching as she approached the door, mouth stretched wide in a yawn as she opened the door and walked into the bright sun.It took only a moment for her eyes to adjust. She eyed the other crewmen doing their jobs with a smirk. Easy days like this she got off. The wood beneath her feet had a rough texture as she stood in the warmth for a while, winds blowing her hair around. She spotted her comrade Sozen, waving at him as she walked in the direction of the stairs. She meant to check up on Adams, the navigator. She made her way swiftly up the stairs and hopped to his side. He was a rather tall man, with long raggedy brown hair, and a deep, gruff voice, but he was extremely kind. He spoke with a foreign accent, and was often hard to understand, so she tried not to tal kto him too often, she got confused easily.

"Good afternoon, Mabbie. I trust you have just woken up?" The man would say to her with a smile.

She smiled and nodded. "I woke up by running into the wall." The man grimaced with a chuckle. "How long until we arrive?"

"A few days and we should be there." He returned to looking at the map and compass before him.

She nodded. "Thanks, Adams." With a hop she was at the opposite set of stairs, headed down. She ran bare-footed at Sozen, hoping he wouldn't lecture her on the importance of wearing shoes on board. She loved being barefoot.

She stopped right in front of him, looking up with a huge grin. "Sozeeeennn. Let's do something. I just woke up and I have so much energy to waste." She bounced a bit as she spoke, her excitement in interacting with her friend clearly evident. In a moment she was then sitting on the railing to his right, swinging her legs back and forth. She was rather fast, and a bit hyper. "It's so boring today. Pleeeaseee?"

With the door swinging open jade orbs would quickly shift as to fixate themselves to the origin of the noise, and who else would he see but Mab? But of course she was the only one sleeping at this time whilst the others were hard at work, if she wasn't one of the best pirates he'd laid eyes on the captain probably would have sent her off the plank for that, but as said before - she was quite the talented lady. With the single digit following her strides he'd watch with a rather empty expression, and as she would head towards the stairs a wave was given in his direction. Facial expression would change into a smirk, and still chewing on his thumb he'd merely raise the other four digits upwards to signal back at her with his own wave. The thought of her alone would dig up his thoughts from last night, once more Sozen was plotting the downfall of another, although this time it was what you might call mutiny. It was through careful observation during his time with this crew and his work as their adviser he'd come to the conclusion; there was a more capable pirate aboard. And that person he'd decided would be the one to take over was none other than the girl he'd waved to just moments before. Just the thought of the devious plan he was concocting was enough to bring a devilish smile to his features, and with brows furrowing slightly his eye would be momentarily covered by strands of hair.

"Soon.." He was of course speaking to himself, but such would be done at a volume that would be masked by the ambient noises amongst the area.

And it seemed just as he'd finished he would hear the thumping of bare feet against the thick planks of the ship, it was so much more distinct considering all other footsteps were from heavy-set men wearing thick boots, and rising his gaze upwards the first stage of his plan was to be put into effect.

"Morning, Capt'n" She was address with a tone the sorcerer saved for those that held the highest of ranks, and with his all to convincing words and his manipulative ways he wouldn't be surprised if by words alone this female would feel the confidence boost by being addressed in such a way.

Head was raised from his bow as the adviser would listen carefully to the half-breeds words, and with an almost ominous presence about him the shapeshifter would turn to face her lips would part to speak, but he was quickly interrupted. A loud smashing noise was heard to his left, and quickly twisting to find the source he'd lay jade slates on quite the event, so it seemed the captain of the vessel was yet again having one of those violent fits. It seemed that the poor lad that was to bring the captain his meal was sadly the victim of a wet floor, and slipping the food was thrown all over his leader, the result of course was the young man being thrown straight through the railing on the upper-level as he'd hit the floor with a thud. Immediately afterwards the captain retreated to his quarters. Several men would surround the boy, he was hurt, and they indeed showed concern for him, and even from this distance he could hear the hateful whispers as they spoke ill about their captain.

"Morale is low, capt'n..I can't help but feel a change is needed on this ship"

The girl had only recently gotten used to the way Sozen addressed her on a regular basis. A tone of respect that continued to give her a hop in her step, and the use of Captain as a calling. the accident with the food-boy was a sad one indeed, but it was a nearly regular occurrence, and she had grown used to fixing the railings and mending the bruises. After all, the captain had been the one to bring her here, to the place where she was accepted. She owed him her loyalty at least. She gave a small smile as she looked at the boy standing up, now alright, if not a bit embarrassed. The ordeals only made her think of how she would do things differently. Laugh it off if her underling had spilled her food, and simply clean off and change. It wasn't that big of a deal. But, to each his own. She frowned a bit as the words of ill-will of their captain were spoken. They owed him at least a little respect for allowing them to work for him, and for him giving them a share of earnings. He could have just treated them as slaves out here in the middle of the ocean.

"Morale is low, capt'n..I can't help but feel a change is needed on this ship"

She nodded. "I couldn't agree more with you. People need to accept their captain as he is and show him some respect." her posture straightened as she crossed her arms and legs, balancing perfectly on the rail, even with the ebb and flow of the waves shaking the ship. "I mean, really. So he threw a kid through a railing. He's alright now. He just has a few issues. I personally owe him for my happiness."

She looked around at the crew. "If it weren't for him kidnapping me, I never would have met any of these men, or even you. And you're the best of them." She hopped down from the railing, landing silently on the wood below. She then proceeded to let her child-like nature take over, as she began dancing on the deck. Hopping and spinning around while humming. "My boredom astounds even myself, sometimes."

She stopped and looked at the captains quarters. She wondered what it was like to have a private room. And then she was off to daydreaming about captaining her own ship. A glazed look overcame her face with a dorky smile as she stares at the captain's door absently.

Her own hat. A trained monkey. And then she would even have a party once a month on-board for the crew. She would have only the best for her hardworking men, and have them love her, not this ridiculous hate that her current captain seemed to accumulate from everyone but herself. She would be better. No, she would be the best. She had always tried to be the best, and still hadn't hit her mark. Captain would be it.

She shook herself out of the dream and turned to face Sozen. "So now what? You said something about change?" Her tomach grumbled right as she finished. Damn her appetite. Now she just seemed like a fat ass. She blushed a bit as she smiled it away.

Mab was definitely amongst the more loyal of the pirates; a trait one generally did not see out here in this cut-throat world, and her general politeness and happiness was definitely a refreshing change on a ship filled with drunken, angry men. It was with a hidden smile however the sorcerer was watching the aftermath of the boy who was assaulted by their captain, all these different scenarios would only add up and fuel Sozen's arsenal, hell, he didn't even have to lie yet - he could topple his command with facts. Yet, despite the low morale and the rather shitty standards aboard the ship the rather chipper demeanor of the girl was something he could admire, hell, it made him want to help her out and keep that happiness, and it was such traits as these he had designated the destined commander of this crew.

"I couldn't agree more with you. People need to accept their captain as he is and show him some respect."

"And us, his loyal workers, should not receive respect?" This was again spoken with a silver tongue, it was spoken as if a real question to her, although it was all rhetorical to Sozen.

"I mean, really. So he threw a kid through a railing. He's alright now. He just has a few issues. I personally owe him for my happiness."

"How are we to succeed with such a level of leadership? A man who abuses his own crew, then the next moment asks for their loyalty and aid? Capt'n, I know you can see this will simply not work." His voice retained the wise tone of voice, indeed he wasn't that old at the age of 69, but he had indeed experienced more than all those aboard this vessel, and having been with several groups before this he knew the only outcome was chaos.

"If it weren't for him kidnapping me, I never would have met any of these men, or even you. And you're the best of them."

The words brought a smile to his face, indeed he was glad to have come across such a lady as her, in fact, she was by far the one most worthy of his loyalty, and he would stay loyal to her indeed.

"Capt'n, it's by the will of the gods we've been brought together, and together would can rid the affliction that plagues this vessel so." The only thing that he could be compared to at this time was a snake hissing with its tongue hanging out, the words were quiet as they were projected with an almost evil feeling, yet when spoken his voice was all to calm and aurally pleasing, he was almost positive that by this time Mab was believing his words.

Enough words were spoken, and with clothing blowing in the breeze around him the adviser would merely follow behind the girl as she would begin to move and dance about, he'd analyze carefully as she spoke and the silly expressions would be noted, and as she would address him he'd merely circle around as to come to a stop behind her. Appendages were raised and slender digits would slider over her shoulders, and with soft hands lightly gripping he'd lean inwards. Fleshly lids would close jade slates, and amaranth strands would be blown back in an abrupt breeze, and in what seemed to be just a second of dead silence he would whisper,

"Take what I say into consideration, because he's not half the leader you are.." And almost slithering away Sozen would take a few steps back and twist and begin to walk towards the opposite side of the ship. The bait was set, and hopefully his ability to manipulate the mind of others was well enough that Mab would wish to further discuss this matter, if not question it.

"Capt'n, it's by the will of the gods we've been brought together, and together would can rid the affliction that plagues this vessel so."

The words intrigued her, though she kept her gaze distant. She'd not get caught up in such things. Steps behind her were heard and soon, the mans large hands were upon her small shoulders as a breeze broke out upon the ship, creating a silence but for the wind and his words in her ear.

"Take what I say into consideration, because he's not half the leader you are.."

She began to feel that smug feeling she seemed to get whenever he was around Sozen. He made her feel good, no, great. And he seemed to bring out the worst in her sometimes. The thought of overthrowing her captain flashed through her mind, as the twinge of greed picked at her insides. Oh, how she wanted it. How she needed that position, of power and caring, neither of which her current captain had. All he had was her devotion and gratitude for bringing her into this life.

Hell, she already believed she was one of the top pirates on the ship, if not including the captain. Sozen reminded her nearly every day, and those in earshot seemed to nod each time it was mentioned. Her brows began to furrow as she continued to brood over his words. She could be a captain. The best, much better than this bum of a man, who spent his days alone in his quarters, drinking away his sorrows. She understood why his wife had jumped ship now that she thought about things in this light. The man was rather annoying and childish. And there is something to be said about a childish person calling someone else childish.

The captain was also getting old and along in his years. Humans had not nearly the lifespan she had. She could go on for ages, and continue to look her ripe, young age, keeping her physique and attitude along the way. As could Sozen. Heck, the guy was three times her age, and he didn't look a day over 20.

Her thoughts were cut short when she realized she had left Sozen without a reply. she turned to see that he had begun to walk away. "Hey! Don't just walk away when we're not done talking!" She ran to catch up to him, soft feet padding the wood beneath her as she ran in front of him, turning and stopping extremely close to him. "What exactly do you have in mind?"

As planned the words of the sorcerer was of the most convincing and mind-altering sort, with but a few lies and a few sentences Sozen was able to get what he wished from a commoner, should it so be his choosing he could manipulate those in such as way as to hate those they once loved, and the shapeshifter took great pride in his ability to do so. Although he'd rarely use such tactics, although he was capable he never really found it necessary to destroy the life of common-folk, he only saw it do-able when it would prove beneficial to him, or perhaps some revenge - or in rare cases, he simply did not like them. Indeed, his tongue was of the most silvery sort, and wise beyond his years he made quite the capable advisory figure. It was when she was in the trance of his words Sozen had moved, with slow yet long strides the adviser made his way across the hard wooden floor, and holding a position of power over these pirates those that had found themselves in his path were quick to move, although as part of his plan he was indeed courteous and kind to them as they would do so.

"Hey! Don't just walk away when we're not done talking!"

He smiled, he knew that by this alone she was indeed eating up his words, seeing as she was so occupied with her thoughts alone that she'd never even realized that Sozen had parted. Lips would curl into a menacing grin, although facing away he would not expose such a look towards Mab, instead he'd merely stare downwards with jade slates. He could almost break out into laughter at this point, everything was going according to plan so far and he knew it would work, slowly yet surely this lowly sorcerer was soon expanding his power, before he knew it the two of them would command a much larger vessel with a likewise increase in the number of men who served them. Hell, maybe after long enough they would grow so vast in strength and numbers their very own fleet could be assembled, and it was with ambition such as this he was full of. It was his goal in life to attain a position of power, not only one of power but one worth of his talents - and at the same time a position he could enjoy. He could see it now, the head adviser to the queen of all pirates, or maybe even after a time the pirates could be converted into the naval army of a kingdom; the possibilities seemed endless. Yet again however Sozen found himself drifting off into a daydream of his own, he almost hadn't made out the words of Mab as she'd caught up to him,

"What exactly do you have in mind?"

Head would twist to his left and turn to his right, jade orbs would scan all directions to make sure words would not fall upon the wrong ears, and looking downwards he'd speak softly in that assuring tone of his,

"I'm going to approach some of the crew members..Do not worry capt'n, all big decisions will be made with you, but let me worry about the planning and the recruiting, you shall know beforehand I promise you that.."

And with eastern appendage lowering digits would slip into his pocket he would pull out a lantern, but it was quickly thrown overboard immediately after.

"In the mean time, would you care to share a drink with me?" He was referring to the storage oh alcohol always present on board, and having a drink or two and some conversation wouldn't hurt, if anything it would just make these next few days a little more enjoyable.

As she spoke, he seemed to be in a dream-trance of his own, until her final words, he was broken of it as he glanced around cautiously before continuing.

"I'm going to approach some of the crew members..Do not worry capt'n, all big decisions will be made with you, but let me worry about the planning and the recruiting, you shall know beforehand I promise you that.."

She nodded, knowing that the words he spoke were true. As manipulative as he was, and she knew it, he had never done anything to lose her trust in his loyalty to her, and she found that quite the show of his true desire to follow and support her.

He reached into her pocket and she watched as he threw a lantern overboard, a sign that something interesting was about to come.

"In the mean time, would you care to share a drink with me?"

She grinned widely. She was always up for a few drinks. She linked her arm in his own and they walked to the galley together, her own feet marching at a military pace. "I'd forgotten we had all of this alcohol on board. No one else seems interested in any of it. Let's have a partyyy."

She immediately popped open the bottle of rum nearest to her, and in her most manly of gestures, proceeded to drink straight from the bottle as she turned thechair backwards and plopped into the eat, slouching with her legs around what should have been the back of the chair. Despite her size, she could hold her liquor pretty well. She took that from her father, she guessed, because no elf she knew could hold it like herself. A quarter the way through the first bottle she turned to Sozen.

"It's been a while since we just... sat. And talked about shit." If her mother could only see the way she acted these days, she would probably die right on the spot. Her little girl, drinkin' rum and cussin' like a sailor (which she was). The thought would kill any of the elven mothers she new. Their race was so prestigious. The thought of being drunk and using such foul words was extremely foreign where she had come from, but the men aboard this ship, had taught her many a thing or two in the ways of being a pirate. She took another large gulp as she continued to think on these things, awaiting a response from the male beside her. she looked over at him. He was definitely one of her best mates.

And so it all seemed to fall in the place, with but a few words and some manipulative twists on his part Sozen seemed to be finally able to convince the girl to overthrow the captain along with him, and it was this that brought him joy. Although he had to be slimy and resort to methods he'd rather not use on her he was finally able to convince her to be the captain he knew she could be, and it was the thought of standing by her side across the vast oceans that could bring a smile to his otherwise blank expression. And with all this mutiny business pushed aside for now it seemed the two had this matter settled, with a great captain in line it would now be up to Sozen to move behind the scenes and assemble the pawns of this master plan, after all the pawns were important. Useless on their own, yet strong in numbers the crew would be the key to winning this struggle, if the sorcerer could gather a mob of them he was positive they could defeat the current captain with ease, and with a faint smile he'd put this all of until later - for now he celebrated with a drink. Linking arms with his new captain they duo would move along as if in their own world, ignore the labour and jobs that needed to be done the two would have other plans, and this could serve to further gather support to their cause, after all - who you side with? The one who offers you a drink, or one who gives you a mop and bucket?

"I'd forgotten we had all of this alcohol on board. No one else seems interested in any of it. Let's have a partyyy."

"That doesn't sound half bad, capt'n."

The sorcerer watched with observant eyes as the female was quick to jump in to the rum, with a rather impressive tolerance she was able to actually sit there and gulp it down straight from the bottle, and a little wide-eyed Sozen just watched. He himself couldn't handle too much, the bitter taste alone was enough to ward him from liquor on most occasions, but hell he just generally felt like a drink, and with a pop of a bottle the clear liquid was soon poured into a large mug. Lips were brought to the rim, and tipping his head backwards two large gulps would be taken before hand would slam the bottom of the mug downwards against the wood.

"It's been a while since we just... sat. And talked about shit."

"It has been quite a while, capt'n.." He'd pause at the end of his sentence as more alcohol would be consumed,

"How's the life of a pirate treating you?" They'd never had the chance to talk much, and with a few of the other men soon lingering about and joining in the drinking the adviser could foresee the drunken party this was going to breakout and become, but as it stood he really didn't care; he was getting a little tipsy himself.

She would chuckle as she watched the male pour his drink of choice into a cup. Sissy-boy. Another chug of her bottle and more men showed up, each taking their own places in the room as the day turned to dusk and their duties began to end.

"It has been quite a while, capt'n.." He'd pause at the end of his sentence as more alcohol would be consumed, "how's the life of a pirate treating you?"

She sighed. In truth he was becoming rather bored of this ship. There was nothing to do, and the captain never left his quarters. All they had was sleep, drink, and work, the last of which she rarely did. She was allowed to sleep and laze around most days, aside from stormy days and cleaning days. She needed some action! Drama! Romance--wait... forget that last one. either way, something was missing.

"It's treated me well up until recently. I've grown bored." She took a breath and another swig before continuing. She scooted closer to Sozen as the men began to crowd the room. She didn't want to lose her seat beside him. Her chair scratched loudly against the floor and she laughed as she nearly toppled over, bottle in hand. half the bottle and she was beginning to get a bit tipsy. "I just need... some activity. All I ever seem to do lately is sleep and eat. I'm going to get fat."

She leaned back in her chair, holding the bottle by the neck and raising it to her lips once more and sipping. "I suppose this isn't helping much either." She caught herself before falling once more and laughed again as she held tightly to the chair with her left hand.

One of the crewmen bumped her roughly into the chair. "Ooo... kinky." She broke into a guffaw at herself before calming down once more upon looking at Sozen, who, she expected, was probably almost completely sober still. She smiled dumbly. "Is it hot in here or is it just you?" She snorted and then slammed her hand onto her forehead. "Oh god, I don't even know what I'm going on about. Haha!" Her giggles continued and she took another gulp, placing the bottle on the table and resting her head on it's side, eyes facing and looking low-lidded at Sozen beside her.

Indeed, Sozen had preferred his beverage in his own separate mug opposed to sharing the rim of the bottle with these dirty crewmen, and besides, with his own little portion there was no need to rush or pass the bottle around; he could merely relax. Jade slates were soon peeking around in every direction, the area was soon filling up with many bodies and the sorcerer was doing to best to deal. Normally he couldn't stand the noise, nor the crowd of people, nor their sheer stupidity and the fact they were but lowly workers. Yet, on this night with the plans in motion the shapeshifter was in a good mood, and with that so he could ignore the mild annoyances of some idiots, after all, if he wanted his plans to be a success they would all play a crucial role. They would be the cannon-fodder and the mass of followers, all they needed to do was look mean and show up, and if it came down to it fight off any of the men still loyal to the captain. Sozen and Mab on the other hand would move to confront the captain directly, she would be the one to kill him of course - or let him live, whatever she desired. Sozen on the other hand would be her guide, tactician, and support; people often underestimated the combat abilities of him, and more often than not that was their downfall.

"It's treated me well up until recently. I've grown bored."

"Aye, capt'n. I can't imagine sitting around watching others in your rightful position to be the exciting life.." He'd take every opportunity he could to further implant confidence and the overall idea of being captain into her head - she'd need the confidence boost, and just in case he wanted to make sure she knew what she was getting into, although, Sozen knew already she would perform spectacularly.

"I just need... some activity. All I ever seem to do lately is sleep and eat. I'm going to get fat."

"No worries capt'n, we'll have plenty to do yet..And believe me, you won't be getting fat.."

He'd merely watch with a smile at her antics, for a small cute-looking girl she could damn well hold her liquor, and with her almost stumbling a few times the sorcerer would simply sit back taking slow sips from his large mug, although he was a bit tipsy from how much he'd drank thus far he was far from her level of intoxication, and with an amused smirk he could only watch her with a single jade optic. With what seemed to be rambling she'd continue, although ears would catch what was assumed to be a compliment, although in her drunken state he wasn't entirely sure if her words could be believed, but with what he heard and could see from her body language it appeared true for the most part, although who the hell could tell with somebody who's been drinking? Merely shaking his head with smirk still etched into his features he'd tilt his head back as this time a large mouthful was downed, so much so that his throat somewhat hurt from swallowing that much, although shrugging it off mug would slam down once more on the wood. At this time he would turn only to find Mab laying her head down, and lowering his head down somewhat to meet her gaze he'd speak,

"Still with me, capt'n?" The question was referring to her state, he couldn't exactly tell if she was going to pass out or not.

Reaching out left would slide across the table as his hand would come over her own, and with a light squeeze he'd tug on her arm slightly,

"Falling asleep on me?" Just as he'd speak the sounds of bottles breaking was heard loudly as one of the drunken pirates had stumbled and slapped a few off the tables, and with screams now roaring from almost all the other men in the room they'd be conversing rather loudly, and if it wasn't for Mab he'd probably be smashing them all over their heads.

The shapeshifter would turn on his seat as to face his body towards her, and with chin pressed into his palm elbow would be propped up on the table as he'd look down at her through strands of amaranth hair.

"Still with me, capt'n?"

For a moment she would not respond, reaction time slowed. "Pfft... I'm not even half drunk yet." She closed her eyes a few moments, basking in the noise of the crew, the aimless chatter surrounding her, the listless chuckles. All of it was her passion. the life of the seas, a lonely one, but it fulfilled her, and she had her only friend, Sozen. She must have been lying longer than she expected, for soon a tug was felt on her arm.

"Falling asleep on me?"

Head shot up quickly, creating a dizzying effect on the girl. "I told you I'm not even drunk yet." She moved to stand, wobbling a bit and catching herself on Sozen's shoulder before climbing into her chair, and finally onto the table, where she towered above the crew, bottle in hand. The sounds of breaking were heard to her right and she turned her head, a bit off balance, pointing one of the fingers around the bottle neck at the crewman who had been so clumsy. "Hey! Don't waste the supplies, and be careful you idiot. Glass is dangerous, someone clean that up!" As this was said she took a swig of her bottle. She'd have done it herself, but she was barefoot. She stumbled a bit, turning to face Sozen and sitting on the table, swinging her legs over the edge around him. She leaned back onto her left arm and took another swig.

The least drunk of the crew had cleaned up the mess, and as they passed she raised her bottle to them. "Nice... nice work, gentlemen." A dazed smile was on her face. Only a quarter of the bottle remained and now the full effects were taking over. She turned back to Sozen, smiling. "My creww wuln't be s-so clumsy." She chuckled as she leaned in to him. "Maybe we'll have a, a drunk test." She mocked a low, serious tone. "Prove to me you wuln't be a dumbass when you're drinkin'." She wobbled around from her place on the table, laughing a bit at the ideas running through her head.

Behind her, more glass was broken, and a shout was heard. She hopped up and turned around. "What did I jus tell ya--" Someone was bashed over the head with a bottle, bleeding profusely from their temple. Her frustration sobered her a bit. "Alrigh'! where's the bastard that did that." Several fingers pointed to a young, highly intoxicated male in the corner, who was now swinging at the back of another crewman's head. "I told you not to be wasteful, you little brat."

She hopped from the table. Drastically shorter than most of the men, she disappeared in a moment, and one could only see the young crewman's head disappear, and the wave of bodies moving as she pulled him by the collar to the door. She opened it and shoved him outside the door. "You're too young to be drinking anyways. And you broke my rule. Go to bed." She slammed the door and wobbled around, headed back to the table. "It's alright! Enjoy yourselves, men, the bastard is gone!" She threw her arms in the air as she regained her place on the table before Sozen, holding his mug between her legs. "Kid was like 15." She smiled with a small hiccup before leaning forward to rest her forehead on his shoulder. Now her head hurt.

Slowly but surely the alcohol that was entering his body and bloodstream was beginning to take the effects, he could feel to slurs in his otherwise flawless speech, he could feel the spinning motion of everything around him, and his vision had become somewhat blurry as he'd watch the scenes unfold before him. Hell, all this from a single mug, Mab had almost downed an entire bottle and she seemed better off than he did at the present time - and according to her she wasn't even half drunk, she definitely had a superhuman liquor tolerance. He could only watch her with a smile as she'd stumble and use himself to stay upright, and slowly but surely the small female would wobble her way up the chair and finally up onto the table, and standing above them all now she seemed to take command of the room. Her voice would boom as she shouted orders at the men, and right away words were taken seriously, and it was in the moments like this Sozen knew he'd made the right decisions, shit, drunk and having a good time she held more respect from these men, not to mention she wasn't beating down the ones making such mistakes. And once more sitting near him the sorcerer chuckled slightly to himself as she'd swing her small legs near him, and leaning forward he'd down the remaining contents within his mug as lips would wrap around the cup.

"My creww wuln't be s-so clumsy." She chuckled as she leaned in to him. "Maybe we'll have a, a drunk test." She mocked a low, serious tone. "Prove to me you wuln't be a dumbass when you're drinkin'."

Her speech was enough to make the quiet adviser break out into laughter, for some reason seeing this cute, little female before him drinking so much and acting in such a way it was hilarious yet adorable. Sure he knew her and how she acted, but for some reason it was so damn funny at this particular moment; and it was more than likely the result of the alcohol. Yet, his laughter was cut short as the sounds of yet more items breaking and shouts and screams would be heard, immediately Mab was up and at 'em as she'd be screaming her voice across the room with authority. Although with blurred vision and what seemed to be an ocean of bodies Sozen couldn't see much, in fact he'd only catch a glimpse of somebody being thrown from the room and before he knew it the small figure of the female was back; he could only assume it was her doing, and just the thought of these big tough-guys being afraid of this adorable girl would bring yet another series of chuckles. Jade slates would watch as she'd sit herself down before him again, with legs hanging off the table and mug between her legs the hand of the sorcerer was still wrapped around the handle to his cup, and simply gazing at her he found himself with not much to say at this point. Until finally she'd lean forth, with her head lowering against his shoulder Mab would rest on him, and with a smile he'd cock his head to lean against her own,

"Aye, capt'n, nice way to take control.." Words were soft and quiet as they were only loud enough for her to hear, and he wasn't in the least worried about these drunken men hearing anything, besides, it wasn't as if they even could hear anything over the roar of their voices.

And for a third time the noise was heard, although this time the smash of the broken glass was accompanied by a loud bang, and soon afterwards a barrage of cuss-words and screams. Another man would have struck his fellow pirate with a bottle, the retaliation was but a chair being slammed over his back from one of the onlookers, and from there a whole group of men would begin to brawl as they would be attacking anybody to get near. The fight would have erupted on the opposite side of the room from Mab and Sozen, and moving his head to see he'd lay hateful eyes on the stupid crewmen, and with a look of annoyance he felt like going over there himself and slapping them around.

"I'm thinking a crew with brains should be added to our list, capt'n.."

And then head would lean back to hers, surely she was resting because she was tired, and she didn't need to hear all this noise or witness such a silly display, and with voice quickly changing into a much more violent tone the sorcerer would speak,

"Would you have me deal with them, capt'n?"

"Aye, capt'n, nice way to take control.."

She nodded into the muscle of his shoulder. His words were appreciated as they boosted her morale about being able to take command when needed. The tone and softness sent a light chill down her back, though. Barely audible but to her own ear, a private space within a crowded room. His head against her own was rather comforting, and she released her grip on the bottle, leaving it on the table to be taken. She didn’t need it anymore. She was done.

She winced slightly as another crash came to her eardrum, a high cracking sound rumbling the skin quickly. Loud voices and the sound of a breaking chair were heard moments later as a brawl began behind her. More than the fact that they were fighting was the fact that their fighting had caused Sozen to remove his head from her own, and her annoyance with the idiots escaladed from there. She was rather comfortable, and they had ruined it with their belligerence. She turned her head to face his neck, blocking view of any of the stupid crewmen in the room. None of the violent ones were her friends anyway.

"I'm thinking a crew with brains should be added to our list, capt'n.."

She scoffed at the comment. “I’m thinking that’s the top of the list… but after the trained monkey.” She smiled as his head lay back onto her own and there was darkness around her eyes. She was becoming rather tired, and he was warm and comfortable. She could sleep through any number of noises, but if she was cold, it wasn’t happening. She felt his muscles tense against her skull as he spoke once more. He must be getting annoyed too.

"Would you have me deal with them, capt'n?"

As much as she hated to, she pulled herself from between his head and shoulder, nodding. She was tired, and they should get the crew to bed. Their morning work was quite the hassle, and it was late now. A yawn and she would answer him verbally.

“Just get them to leave. I’ll get the alcohol.” She hopped from the table, grabbing a bottle from the hands of the nearest crewman, and each after that, placing them on the table she had been sitting on before and keeping their grubby hands off of it. She slapped the hand of a man who tried to take a bottle from the table, and gave him the mother’s-death-glare. He shied away quickly to the back of the group as she continued, until every open bottle was accounted for. “Alright, kiddies, that’s enough. Don’t open any more bottles, or you’ll deal with me and Sozen. Big kid time is over, and you’ve all become children again. Congrats, and good night.”

Sozen was quite happy with this situation, not only was he able to spend some time with the one person aboard this ship this ship he could actually like, but he was able to take this time to further advance the plan as subtle words and actions were made. He was loyal by all means, but the sorcerer had to resort to manipulative moves and things he generally wouldn't do to Mab, yet for such a cause as this he could deem it acceptable. And with the drinking of himself and Mab seemingly coming to a stop they had just sat there together amidst the fight, shouting, slamming, and just generally rough and loud behaviour. Almost as if in their own little world the two seemed to be only paying attention to eachother throughout., only the loudest of disturbances could rouse their attention now. Yet, despite his tolerance and understanding on this night the crew see,ed intent on getting the sorcerer into a bad mood, and it was to the point where you could feel the air almost thicken as the magical power of the shapeshifter was unstable and on the rise. Being an unstable hunk of power his magic often would spring forth unwanted things, one time he remembered when he got really pissed off the person he was looking at had simply erupt into flames, and it was with this fear he'd avert jade slates from the likes of Mab.

“Just get them to leave. I’ll get the alcohol.”

He'd nod his head without looking at her as strands amaranth in colour would bob up and down with his movements, and slowly pushing his boots against the floor he'd raised himself upwards. For a split second the lean sorcerer had almost lost his balance as he'd stumble just a bit, and finally cocking his head towards the group that was fighting; the only ones left because the friendlier of the bunch knew to leave. Steps were slow and long as his posture remained straight, he would be moving towards the crowd of brutes, not before catching sight of something in his peripheral vision. A long metal pole was leaned in the corner, about 5 feet long and somewhat thick it was almost like a staff, and with a smirk the shapeshifter would outstretch eastern appendage. Digits would curl around the cold metal surface of the steel pole, and with hand closing down on it with a tight grip he'd lift upwards and hold it within his grasp, and leaning it backwards it would rest against his shoulder. As he'd approach the men they could immediately feel the immense power that seemed to flow through the air, and with a sudden breeze suddenly circling the room the floor would begin to vibrate ever so slightly beneath their feet. Pole was thrust downwards and with a loud band the blunt end would slap into the wood hard enough to cause a few small cracks,

"I suggest you gentlemen retire for the night.." Despite the rather intimidating and frightful look about him his voice was quite calm and soothing, and was just a moment or two afterwards the men stopped and listened to his words; wise decision.

Turning towards Mab it seemed they'd done their jobs, both the alcohol and the pirates had been dealt with, and this would just leave the two here together. Arms would stretch upwards as the sorcerer would yawn loudly, and with pole brought down and resting horizontally across broad shoulder appendages would rest overtop either side of the pole. Simply watching for a moment jade optic would scan her figure and what she was doing, and parting lips to speak he'd step forth, until he was interrupted by a very loud noise. The sound was of one of the ballista up top firing, and with a loud thud would you hear the snapping of wood, although it was away from their ship. Was just moments after you would hear the screams and hollering of all the pirates, so it seemed we had managed to stumble across a large trade ship in the middle of the night. Suddenly however many small thuds were heard hitting the deck above, and with screams shouting out the yell was given out too late, "Archers!".

It had seemed that the large trade ship was prepared for pirate attacks, yet with a ballista arrow already smashed through the front of their ship Sozen could only imagine the damage done. A second round was fired from the ballista, and again a massive arrow probably a meter long was slung forth, and with another loud smash it would collide with their deck and further open holes, a few unlucky archers were so caught off-guard and shocked they'd dropped into the holes, as if the vibration wasn't enough to make them stumble. With wide-eyes the tipsy sorcerer looked over to Mab,

"Capt'n, orders?" Although Sozen gave the advice and lead men into the fight, it all came down to the orders of the captain, and to be honest the only one he would ever address or think of as captain was Mab.
