// It is posted in the MA boards, I just posted it here because my computer was acting up and only allowing me to open one tab at a time, so I posted it here, then copied it, then pasted it onto another post in the Ma boards. This then allowed me to view your last post while I was posting, while still only keeping a single window open at a time. Thereby allowing me to not have to rely apon my memory of what you said to guide my post, and so this allowed me to put more detail into it. |

"Once again, remember that should you attack me, the results won't be pretty", reminded Glorfindel, as if anticipating Adrianne using her shadow-sword. However, he was more than capable of handling an attack from that weapon, for his White Blood was by far a superior weapon. But he needed to keep her in check, so he made sure that she would know that he was in charge. "I spared your life when I could have simply rended you piece by piece, Miss Adrianne Fletcher. You are under my command, and I hope that you will realize this and not get any funny ideas. I do not wish to do anything harsh or debasing to you, but I will if you force my hand." "If you treat me with respect, then so shall I do the same. If you push these boundaries, then the Prince will be the one to regulate you. And needless to say, he's not exactly the nicest being", spoke Glorfindel, "There is much to tell you Adrianne, the least of which being your current condition. The Prince's transformation had an effect on you that even He did not anticipate. The pain and the process of fusing your raw-powered magical blood to the Prince's will transformed you into a Darkling, or a Shade if you wish to use the crude definition of this world's simpering populace. You must have noticed that your body now exudes shadow, even though you are not using magic? Your magical power, especially in Shadow use, will now be increased several fold. You have indeed become something that could be.....an asset to His cause....." |

As she remembered that at the moment he'd likely be on his guard, she relaxed, and as she did, the number of shadows pouring out of her reduced to the extent that they were a mere trickle. As she realised this, she focused on them, trying to draw them fully in, the sight of them disturbed her. Then he spoke to her, in an attempt to cause her to deffer to him. It worked, she already knew what would happen if she tried something like that. She'd just needed the confirmation. "Yes, I realise that you might have killed me, but I think you've already proved that you want to be harsh. Some of your actions last night just seemed to be unnessesarilly painful and embarassing. I'd already surrendered. Why did you need to continue to torment me. Didn't it just seem a little excessive, and honestly, can you please tell me how much more pain I would have suffered if I hadn't blacked myself out?" She knew that it was probably best to put on an appearance of submission until the time to stike came, but she just couldn't do it. The memory of the pain was too fresh for her, and her forced smile turned back into a sneer, and then he told her about what she had become. This violation of her freedom, was bad enough. But robbing her, even unintentionally of her (Inster appropriate word [elfity, elvenity, elvenhood, whatever]) was far worse. Perhaps if she'd been given a say in the matter she'd have been tempted, but in her current state of irritation she wasn't willing to lose anything to the whims of another, at least not without hating them. Suddenly shadows began to flare up out of her again, surrounding the area between them, and her face contorted into a snarl as she shouted at him, not even allowing him to finish. "What did you just say? What did you do!?" Her mind completely snapped at that moment, and she leapt up at him whilst pulling the blade from its interdimensional location and attempting to impale him. The fact that he could heal himself and stop her with but a few words completely forgotten to her. The mix of pain and sudden loss of control having wracked her mind to near its breaking point. |

The swing Adrianne directed at Glorfindel was caught with one gloved hand. The strength of the Prince stopped her blow short of his neck. Wrenching the longsword out of the elf-shade's hands, Glorfindel haphazardly tossed it to his side opposite her position to him. Glorfindel then turned to the hapless woman and mercilessly commanded her. "On your stomach", he snarled, "remove your boots!" When she obeyed him, Glorfindel produced a length of chain with a collar, handcuffs, and ankle shackles attached at various lengths, adjustable to accomodate the varying sizes of the captive. "Hands behind your back", he slithered commandingly, and when she did, Glorfindel collared her neck, cuffed her hands behind her, and bound her barefeet together at the ankle using the shackles. Then, the true punishment began. adjusting the collar and shackles, the elf-demon worked the chain until Adrianne's body was bent in a shallow U-shaped hogtie, with her neck being throttled by her collar. Only by arching her back, legs, and neck would the elf-shade be able to breathe. Sooner or later, she would tire and be choked out by her restraint. When that would happen, Glorfindel would release her, allowing her to breathe. She would learn the consequences of attempting to kill her master. |

As her strike was stopped, Adrianne knew that she'd made an error, she'd been so angry at his violation of her very Elvenhood (Or whatever the word for it is) that she'd completely abandoned her concious plans and acted too early; and soon she was going to pay for the error. She waited for his command that would shatter her will, and didn't have to wait long. She dropped onto her stomough as he ordered it, but she kept enough of her own wits to do so slowly rather than a sudden drop which may have shattered her bones, or wounded her in other ways. Then he ordered her to remove her boots, which was a rather interesting order. It was more or less impossible for her to remove her tight boots whilst lying prone on her front. So the orders seemed to conflict, until the more recent of the two overpowered the older of the two. She got back up off the ground and sat up as she undid her boots and left them lying to the side of Glorfindel's throne before placing her hands behind her back as he'd just ordered her to. Suddenly, Adrianne felt a collar being fastened around her neck, followed soon after by being bound hand and foot by a pair of shackles. The shackles she understood, they would make it more difficult for her to move, but a collar? Honestly, she thought; what's he going to use that for? Ironicly she soon got her answer as he placed her in a modified version of a hog tie. A version that was asphixiating her. She needed to breath. To begin with she simply lay there, it wasn't as though it was going to make any difference anyway, and he obviously found it amusing to watch this; but as she began to black out, Adrianne finally submitted to the urge, and closed her mind to the humilation she was putting herself though before arching her body and gasping in a large breath of air. Holding onto the breath for as long as she could, Adiranne began to try and figure out a way out of this, but found none. As the air from her last breath ran out, she arched again, and inhaled more air into her deprived lungs. This process continued for a fair while, with her actions becomeing slower and slower, until she seemed to surge and they sped up before dying down again quickly, and coming to a complete stop. Even her body's desire for oxygen wasn't enough for her to overcome her fatigue. So she simply glared up at her captor as she slipped into the void. |

She was hogtied, and immediately started struggling against her restraints. She breathed via arching her body to take small gasps, but she tired and began to choke. She thrashed against her hogtie, but she began to black out. Her askew hair stopped tossing as her wrists and barefeet began to slow down in their wriggling. As she faded-out, Glorfindel made his move. She was still conscious, so he reached down and grasped Adrianne's hair, pulling back as he placed his mouth next to her's. His voice was a snarling hiss as Glorfindel granted her some minor relief. "Beg, plea", he hissed, almost licking Adrianne's ear as her chained barefeet feebly wriggled for what seemed to be a last time, "You will live if you do so. I promise you, Shade, that you will live." He knew she would. Her predicament was too dire for her to stubbornly cling to pride. Especially for one of self-preservation. Especially for a Shade. When she would, he loosened the clasps holding her cuffs and shackles in their place. They would instantly release, which meant her hands would suddenly drop to her back and her bared feet would painfully hit the ground, possibly cutting them. She would gasp and wheeze for air, and probably curl up to protect herself. But she didn't. The Shade clung to her stubborn, foolish pride as if it would spirit her to safety. Glorfindel knew that he had failed with this one, that there would be no point to letting her live. She would resist him, and a Shade of her potential would be a powerful ally, but also a powerful adversary. So, the elf-demon stood back, and watched as she faded out of life, so early after discovering her true power. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and finally her body ceased the last futile struggles of life. His face somber, Glorfindel loosened the clasps, letting her now-limp and lifeless form fall. Leaving her boots, he hefted her corpse over his shoulder and carried her to the castle gates. At the gate, he fastened a noose around Adrianne's neck, and then hung her body from the battlements of the walls. There, her body would hang, hands cuffed behind her back, barefeet shackled together, and a collar fastened around her neck. It would serve as a warning, which would further deter all but the most bold from entering his domain. Edited by Glorfindel, Dec 5 2008, 12:28 PM.
