Glorfindel grunted in a loud outburst of pain when the throwing knife embedded itself into his left shoulder. Though Glorfindel's attack sent her reeling backward, Glorfindel still took her knife full in his shoulder when he'd hesistated. When she put her hands behind her, Glorfindel had thought that maybe the woman had decided to give up. This hesistation was answered by her knife, as well as her parrying the primary strike of his Skewer technique.

"Getting better.....", he growled, impaling White Blood into the ground and grasping the knife with his right hand, "But now, you see, you've crossed the border. You see, I am the only out of the two of Me who wishes to spare your life and simply to you to Our cause. The Dark Prince, on the other hand, wants to rend and maim you before hanging you from the spires of this castle until you choke to death. And now, you've annoyed the one person capable of making sure you will survive to live another day. So.....", Glorfindel's face wrenched as he yanked out the dagger and tossed it to the floor with a clatter, "do you really want to keep this pointless battle up, or shall I simply allow the Prince to have his course of action. I must warn you, though, he is nowhere near as.....gentle as I am."

With his left hand, still functional but hurting, Glorfindel reached down and plucked the throwing knife embedded in his jacket out. Transferring it to his right hand, Glorfindel leisurely tossed the knife into the air, spinning it a few times, before catching it on the blade. Glorfindel repeated this as he awaited the elf's decision, surrender or die.

(You...Quoted Dante from his battle with Nero)

While White Blood was still impaled in the stone, Adrianne lept forward at him with her own blade. While she may have been proving her willfulness and irritating Glorfindel, the dark prince's view towards her may change to "Useful" rather than "Annoyance". As she lunged in with a quick thrust of her own at Glorfindel's torso, she hissed the words "First Blood goes to me, why would I surrender when I seem to be the one of us with less cuts in her?" It seemed as though she was ready for the though. As her right hand seemed ready to abandon the hilt and draw a knife. "Besides, I'll never surrender to a mind-slave like your master.", she said, using all the force that she could muster, she charged at him recklessly, hoping to get in before her could retrieve his blade and recover from the sudden attack. But not even she was always that lucky.

"First Blood goes to me, why would I surrender when I seem to be the one of us with less cuts in her?"

Glorfindel sidestepped her thrust, using the thick leather of his jacket to parry her sword aside. Stepping backward, Glorfindel made sure to get out of her range before she spoke next.

"Besides, I'll never surrender to a mind-slave like your master."

Then, she charged for him with all her strength, almost in a lesser version of his earlier attack. White Blood was in the ground some distance away, out of Glorfindel's reach. However, he still had one weapon in his hand: the throwing knife he'd plucked from his jacket. Flipping it in his hand one more time as she charged him, Glorfindel hurled the knife straight toward her stomach, for he had some familiarity with projectile objects.

Even if the knife did not strike the elf, though, Glorfindel made sure her suicidal attack didn't touch him. As soon as the tip of her blade got within a foot of his chest, Glorfindel sidestepped and jumped backward, pushing the woman in the back of her head as she came by, intending to take her off guard and stagger her to the ground. Landing next to his zweihander, the Elf-Demon dislodged the weapon and placed it across his shoulders.

It seemed that Glorfindel's aim was true, and the knife struck her in the center of her belly. However, he'd forgotten that when someone carried as many knives as Adrianne did, they would provide her with a good deal of protection, especially when the cloak itself provided her with a great deal of padding to dampen the blows. The knife didn't manage to get through her cloak. Gripping it in her right hand she quickly tucked the knife into her cloak, she wasn't sure why. But she did.

Continuing her thrust, she bared her teeth in frustration as he sidestepped her blow and strongly struck her in the back of the head. Even while moving away from the blow, it was enough to send her off her balance and tumbling to the ground in front of her. Flipping a half roll before she came to a stop. Finishing her motion on her back, Adrianne's disoriented eyes scanned the room for her opponent. While her left arm moved to establish some sort of guard, and her right arm moved into her cloak to draw a dagger. But the sense of vertigo hadn't quite passed, and her movements were slightly slugish, still quick, but to this foe it would be a noticable shift.

Glorfindel knew that his time to attack was when she hit the ground. As she got up, he could see a noticeable change in her movement. It wasn't her gut wound taking effect, no. Instead, the vertigo of her hitting the ground and losing balance had affected her reflexes and movements slightly. This was good, because Glorfindel now held an advantage, if slim, over the elf-woman, which would only get bigger as her gutwound would continue to bleed, for those sorts of injuries don't heal easily, and she would begin to get more and more sluggish until she at last tired out and left herself open to Glorfindel.

However, he would have to keep her moving, which would only wear her down more, in hopes that he may be able to bring her down without having to damage her too much.

As her eyes came into focus, she would see Glorfindel coming straight toward her, White Blood held at the ready for a series of strikes. The first strike was a leftward diagonal slash, followed up by a fast swipe up the same direction, only reversed. To finish, Glorfindel pivoted on one foot to build momentum, and then he brought his zweihander down in a rightward diagonal slash.

As she regained her senses, Adrianne saw Glorfindel attempting to vivisect her. Placing her blade in front of the blow, she pressed her other hand against the flat of her blade, allowing the flat to take the blow, and because of the angle of the strike, she managed to use some of the force to help push herself back up onto her feet. Thanking her luck that the knife hadn't penetrated her armoured cloak.

Leaping backwards, she extended her blade into the long point technique in which she simply held it in front of her, both to buy time for her head to clear, as well as to see what he was going to do next, the last of the options was generally the preffered action when using the technique. But it was in this case useful for keeping Glorfindel at bay, as if he charged, he would be running straight into a thrust.

As she stepped backwards, more shadows began to coagulate around her right arm, by this stage Glorfindel should be getting the impression that the longer this fight continued, the better armed she would end up being. Soon after, a gauntet took shape around her arm, and it seemed strong enough to avoid penetration by a blade, now he'd have to worry about something else.

Glorfindel wasn't fazed as she took and parried his blows. Even though he now realized her gut wound actually didn't exist due to her cloak being laden with knives. Glorfindel smiled, enjoying the ingenuity of the elf-woman with each passing moment. However, her cloak of knives was becoming a nuisance, as well as the shadows aiding her by providing armament, first in the form of a sword and now in a large, hardened gauntlet.

Glorfindel, though, commanded the shadows as well. Once more, they consumed his form, swallowing him as he melted into absolute darkness. Then, he moved into action, quickly crossing their distance and coming up alongside her. Bringing White Blood to bear, Glorfindel materialized just as he spun and whipped it around at full blast. Due to the weight of the blade and the force with which he was striking, the odds would be that the zweihander would smash through her knife-defense cloak and possibly cause a grievous wound, if not that then it would definitely dislodge a majority of her knives from where he would strike.

If she brought her new gauntlet to bear, then she would have to deal with a great bruise because it would take the brunt of his attack and would definitely strike her in the chest, turning her defense into his offense.

As Glorfindel morphed into shadow, Adrianne's eyes lost sight of him, then as he moved behind her, her peripheral vision (Which is more effective at finding motion) caught a glimpse of sudden movement, and she spun around, just in time to catch sight of Glorfindel swinging a blade at her, out of pure instinct, she sent her own weapon up to meet it, and she felt herself being overpowered, her weapon being slowing inched backwards. She then stepped directly behind her own blade, and slid her right hand across to the very point of contact, and began pushing from there, the extra moments she could remove from his own weapon by shifting the pivot closer to the point at which the force was being exerted on may have allowed her to force the weapon back, but that wasn't her intention. Suddenly and without warning, she released her grip on the weapon and slid forward under Glorfindel's blade (although she did risk getting kicked), which would likely (due to the fact that the force it had been going against was suddenly removed) fly forward over her head, but you never knew, and in combat Adrianne was a gambler.

Drawing a knife in her left handm she attempted to stab his leg, whilst simultaniously punching at his groin with her gauntleted fist.

She contorted her body to avoid his blade attack. She was clever, and Glorfindel was starting to see potential in this one. However, he still had to fight her, and hopefully she would surrender. He never really liked it when he had to beat the living crap out of his opponents before subduing them. He was still something of a merciful soul at heart.

With her left hand, she withdrew a knife and stabbed at his leg. With her right, she punched toward his groin with a gauntleted fist. Glorfindel reacted in a means to counter both with one motion. Kicking at her right shoulder with his right leg, the one she was stabbing for, Glorfindel felt a slight pain as her knife cut through, but didn't not cripple or seriously harm his mobility. By kicking at her right shoulder, Glorfindel aimed to injure or dislocate her shoulder, which would either way cause her punch to be deflected and probably knock her off balance at the same time.

"Do you really wish to continue this", snarled Glorfindel with his slithering tone, "I have an unlimited reserve of stamina. I draw power from both myself and the Dark Prince. We can do this for another week, if you so choose. Your escape is impossible. Surrender! Drop your weapons and place your hands behind your back. My patience is wearing thin, little girl. If you persist in this, then I promise that when I finally emerge victorious that you will remember this night for the remainder of your long life as the one night you regretted not taking a good tip from your superiors!"

As Glorfindel kicked her, the force of the blow caused her to stumble backwards onto the ground. Her hand falling across the hilt of her dropped longsword, and a stream of shadow began to flow from the weapon and into her hand, wrist and forearm. Awareness filled her mind, a sample of the true abilities of the weapon. Unfortunately she wasn't exactly experienced at such actions.

She quickly brought the blade across in an arc towards Sid, and a blade of razor sharp winds of force extended from sword, severing the top of one of the chairs and shattering through the northern wall of the large room. A break of about 6 feet extended across from where the beam had come into contact with it. She got the feeling that she wasn't quite as capable of using this as she should have been, she'd drained her own energy when she'd activated it. Wonderful, so only and outsider or undead would be capable of releasing it's true power without almost killing themselves.

She moved to stand up, her blade at the ready. While the slash had been aimed at where Glorfindel had been, he may have been able to avoid it. If he was still in one piece, she would then hold the blade and keep it pointed at his face, a typical action from someone who happens to be winded and needing a break.

She unleashed a powerful Wind Cutter from her blade, destroying much of the property in the room. However, she didn't not focus her destructive force upon its intended target: Glorfindel. Instead, the Cutter felt like a simple breeze upon his skin, if frigid. To counter any sort of injury, Glorfindel grabbed the side of his jacket and whipped the long trailing up to cover his exposed head and face, the wind breaking upon his clothing. When the gale finally passed, Glorfindel whipped his coat down and then readied White Blood.

"A valiant effort. Very commendable", he hissed, his voice steadily becoming darker and more rumbling, "but you've effectively thrown away any mercy I would have spared for you!."

The Dark Prince catapulted himself forward toward the fatigued elf-woman, the red light surrounding the zweihander brighter and almost blood-red now. However, instead of slashing or impaling the woman, he cracked the pommel of his blade into the pit of her stomach, intending to use the sharp points there to create a circular scar of dots around her belly button. He made sure to bat aside her cloak, too, before that could cause him any grief. Then, the Prince threw his left shoulder into her chest, knocking the wind from her and causing her to stumble backward and fall, her sword flying from her hands as she did so.

She crawled toward her blade, intending to get back up and restart the fight even if she was possibly wounded. However, the Prince had had enough. He walked up behind her and planted his foot in the middle of her back, pinning the woman to the ground on her belly. Then, he impaled White Blood in the ground right next to her neck, making sure that one of the two grooves at the tip of his sword formed itself around her neck and showed that he could cut her down at anytime.

"Your impertinence has irked me for the last time", the Prince roared, his voice shaking dust from teh ceiling and rumbling the ground, "Now this is your final chance. Place your hands behind your back. Surrender!! Or will I have to get even more creative!?" The Prince allowed his rhetorical question to hang in the stale air.

All motion seemed to blur, her reflexes really had slowed. Suddenly she felt several spots of pain on her belly, she even heard several ribs snap, before she was almost immediately driven to a ground as Glorfindel drove his shoulder into her chest. Despite the pain caused by her broken ribs, she pulled a pair of knives from the bandolier and tried to bring them to bear, but White Blood was suddenly connecting with the skin of her neck. Whilst it was too close for the cut. It did allow him to perform a slice with impunity. Then she felt him standing on her.

This time she could see only one last play. As the boot connected, her body tensed up as blood rushed through and adenaline surged to the area. She glared up at him, whilst telling him what he seemed to want to hear. "Fine then!" However, her voice came out as a shrill shout. She moved her arms till they were behind her back and waited for the pressure of steel against her flesh to lessen. Her breath held, and likely she'd pass out if the weapon wasn't removed within the next minute or so.

The Prince was finally appeased, and he spared no expense in making sure the woman felt how undignifying her resistance and impertinence just was. He reached down and undid her cloak, ripping it off of her and tossing it aside, throwing knives scattering about as the cloak flew. Then, he reached down and roughly undid and then removed her top-clothing, including her shirt and breast coverings. After baring her chest, her hands still behind her back, he pulled out a coil of rope from his jacket and lashed her wrists together, making sure they were uncomfortably tight to channel his wrath without bodily harm.

He moved on, her boots being removed, exposing her barefeet as the Prince maliciously tickled them as a spiteful means of torture. He then ruthlessly tore her pants and undergarments down her legs, baring the remainder of her body, and then lashed her ankles together, restraining her feet and leaving her helpless. Threading another coil of rope around her ankles, he jumped from the ground over the massive chandelier hanging from the ceiling, threading the long coil through it. Bringing it back down, he tied it down, which then hoisted the elf-woman off of the ground and left her hanging upside down, tied up, before the dais on which his throne stood.

"The treatment you deserve", growled the Dark Prince, his voice almost lion-like in its tone, "Now, we're going to play a little game." The Prince mounted the dais and took a long leather bullwhip from the side of his throne, "I'll ask a question. You answer correct, and you won't feel pain. Lie, and I will know if you're lying or not, and I'll add on some nice decorative scars to that perfect little back of your's! First question: What is your name? Your TRUE name!"

(start a continuation topic in the MA board. This might get graphic.)

Adrianne began to feel helpless the moment her hands were bound, and her cloak removed. The binds weren't painfully tight though, unfortunately they were still too tight for her to slip out of them, even after she had relaxed herself. Darn it, she had another idea though, which was crushed the moment he hung her upside down. Strangely the removal of her clothing didn't effect her as much as that of her weapons and mobility. Perhaps she hadn't grown up where moral standards were high, or perhaps she was the sort of person who ignored them. Either way, it seemed as though the only reason she wore them was for the minor protection against grazing they provided, well, that, convention, storage capacity, and the fact that it prevented her breasts from getting in the way. (Ahh the problems with using this treatment on immoral characters)

As it turned out, his actions had actually helped her. If he'd just left her tied up, the very presence of a demon without anything to keep her occupied would have caused a complete and utter emotional breakdown, but, being hung upside down kept the adrenaline flowing through her, and her mind was continuously active.

As he pulled out the whip and inquired her name, Adrianne began to sneer, but then he mentioned scarring, her visage suddenly turned from resentful to fearful, and she answered his question, although most likely not as he wanted her to, but in this state, it was the only name she could remember. "Fletcher, my name is Fletcher. Please, don't do anything." The terror overwhelmed the fact that she was being hung, her memories resurfaced, and she had the breakdown anyway, she began sobbing repetitively, and since she wasn't able to dry her eyes, the tears flowed up into her hair before dropping onto the stone floor, collecting in a pool. It seemed as though she was now beyond words, her intense sorrow and pain causing her to lose sense of where she was, she began hyperventilating, and it seemed that she was attempting to curl herself up into a ball but was restrained by her bonds.
