Master of War
|
She had been such a jaded goddess for quite awhile. It was about time something interesting showed up. Even with all her power, she simply could not force those of this land to stop being so damned boring. So, of course, she just couldn't help herself when the shade finally came along. Well, she could, if it had been anyone else. If she had a reputation to keep. She had the feeling however that he was quit content with the gifts she had to give. Not to mention that they were just such similar beings that not even War could ignore attractions. Or maybe she'd just been all alone in the temple for so long. The goddess barely felt the blade against her neck. It was just such a small thing, for one with the power to set the world on fire, to inspire worlds to war. And that wasn't the only thing she inspired, it seemed. She chuckled lightly as he purred in her ear. Ah, but she knew, as much as she gifted, he'd pay her back. The goddess had, we'll just call it 'faith', in that. Though she could force many things out of people, sometimes it was just so much sweeter when they gave themselves away by free will. He dared touch in ways that none had ever dared before. Whether it be though fear or because she killed them for the thought, few managed to get in arm's length of the goddess. Kioku however merely gave a wry smirk. She liked it when they were bold. Or maybe she just had taken a liking to the shade in general. Whatever. As long as she got what she wanted, it mattered little to her the reasons for it. "Just. A. Bit." Well yes, she supposed she was. If that was even the proper word to describe one such as herself. Well, perhaps it was. She who would readily impale herself upon a sword or cut her own throat just for dramatics or to prove a point. Why not a little pain in other aspects of her life as well? Her smirk grew broader at this thought. It would vanish however at the sound of steel landing upon blood and snow. The goddess found it ... interesting. Intriguing, even. As she turned facing the shade, a hand rose as she brought talons cross the man's throat, not enough to cut flesh, at least not until the claws moved to the shades clothes, slicing open the collar. Though she let the shade to turn her to face him, by no means would the goddess lose her status. Even if she allowed him a bit of control, she would forever be dominant, probably selfish. She was wolf, alpha, goddess, after all. But that didn't mean they couldn't both have a little fun. After all, the lady war was all about give and take. ))And I leave it up to you to take this next post wherever you wish. So I can deny all responsibility for the jealousies it may cause. xP(( |
