"Duma wood. hmm.." Thinking for a moment she tried to see if she hard heard of the area befor. Though she hardly ever payed attention when her father tried to teach her about the towns and there neighbouring forests and deserts.
"interesting place?"
Talgera yawned, feeling the days travel and hunt strain on her slightly.

"It's ... woods." Of course there was little of interest there. The woods held nothing but trees and wild animals and his cabin in the woods where his sister damn well better be. Gazing ahead, Rex decided it was going to be a long night. Ah well. Might as well provide some conversation. At least talking kept him awake. "I live with my sister there. She ...'s trying to raise chickens."

Talgera nodded "ok, trying?" That word always amused her somewhat it always hinted at either failure or weakness though she used it alot it really was interesting to gathers others use of the word.
"Thats interesting, how old is she? " Like always she spoke without thought or use of tact.

"She spends more time chasing them and trying to keep them from wandering off into the woods than raising them." For the first time he spoke with actual fondness. Rex cared alot for his sister, he lived for his sister. She was the one person that he would sacrifice anything for. Always had, especially since their parents had died. "She's sixteen. I don't like leaving her but. Sometimes heading to market is dangerous."

A nod followed his statement " I see, That must be a silly sight. " She laughed lightly at the thought but quickly stopped it, not really wanting to offend.
Talgera noted the demenor change when he spoke of his sister. "You're very protective of her"
It was obvious but it was all she could scrape together.

He barely managed to contain a smile at the thought. Only when she's got about twenty of them." Rex reminded himself then to see if he could find a chicken of some description while he was in the town. Thio would love such a gift. Rex could not help but find the whole thing amusing. They were literally two foxes in the hen house, to coin a phrase. But Thio wouldn't let her 'pets' become dinner. Ah well, at least the eggs were good.

"Yes." He answered, not sure what else to say. After all he wasn't the kind to reveal his life story to a stranger he'd just met. Rex yawned as they traveled in silence for a little while longer. He paused to adjust the weight of the satchel at his back before peering back across the grasses. "We should be there soon. I can see chimney smoke a little ways off.

She strained to see her eye sight not being as good as his at night. "Ok then"
Talgera started getting nervous now about getting to the town not sure about how to react to the people. Owell nothing bad could happen. She thoght to herself shrugging it off.
"Hmm, Thats a fair few, do you have a rooster to breed with aswell?" She really could not help asking the most oddest question, just a thought that ran through her head.

Rex wasn't a big fan of towns himself, after all he was just one of those 'uncivilized' forest dwellers compared to them. Of course he could not help but hold a slight disdain for them, it had been city dwellers that had hunted him and almost killed his sister. That was before they'd moved to the wood though, nearly half a year ago. The question was odd, but he didn't seem bothered. It was ... conversation, at least. "A few. Some of them she's raised from chicks, others are wild ones that she's fed and now thy won't leave. Sometimes I'll bring a couple chicks home. It makes her happy."

Talgera nodded. " Oh, thats good. Always nice to have a hobby that makes you happy."
Nothing came to mind that could really be said as they continued walking. Her mind raced but only on few lines, she had lost track of what was going on really. Her few thoughs of this situation was a careing brother, and a hobby that made a girl happy.
"Thats nice of you to do that for her"

"Yeah..." Having run out of things to say he didn't venture any more conversation. It just made things more awkward when he ran out of things to talk about. So he fell silent for a while longer, until at long last they'd reached the Town of the Bard's. Stepping into the main street, he glanced over at the girl. "Is there anywhere you need to go? In this town I mean." Having traded extensively here, Rex knew where the inn and taverns were.

The silence was calming to her, Though she really did want to try and think of something to say nothing really came to mind. She started to drift off into her own little world random thoughts comeing up.
"Hmm?" She looked at him lost again in her thoughts. "Oh right, umm. The Inn . I think"
A place to eat and rest would be good she thought to herself. What else would I need?. She shrugged to herself, decideding to think about it another time.

He inclined his head slightly, acknowledging her reply. While it would be easier to point her in the right direction and head his own way, he was on the same path anyhow. "This way." He had no doubts she'd follow, after all they'd travel this far. After a few moments of pacing the cobblestone streets, they arrived at an inn. It was a smallish place, with a homely feel. Dubbed simply 'The Bold Cat', Rex even went and opened the door for her. "Its a nice place. Been here a couple of times."

She followed of course, stunned slightly when he opened the door for her. She was not used to that, at home it was always her open doors and waiting for others to pass by. She stuttered "umm thank you" as she walked over the threshold.
"It looks like a nice place." A small blush could be seen she was nervous and not accustomed, though it would seem odd that such a small gesture could do so.

Where he came from, it was only polite. He was used to making sure his blind sister did not collide with doors anyways, so he had no reason to discard chivalry even for a stranger. Walking inside, he motioned towards the back where a flight of stairs were located. "The tavern's here. The inn is above it. A lot like the Horseshoe in Avalon City." As it occurred to him that she might not have even been here before, he trailed off. Shifting the pack at his shoulder, he nodded briefly. "Anyways. I have to go trade this stuff at the market. The people here are pretty good so they shouldn't bother you."

A nod and smile was shown, "Ok then, good luck in the market. Thank you"
Her eyes drifted from him to the area around her. Crowds scarred her. Terribly. She really preferrered to be in a small group maximum of five people. Any more around her was just impossible. She observed them all. Then went back to him inclineing her head in a sort of bow. The most respect she would show to someone really.
