Thick, black, blood concealed the previously unsullied deck of a Caravela Readona. A formerly pristine white coat stained deep red with the life blood of passenger and crew. A Captain with his heel firmly pressed against the throat of a surviving mutineer. It crunched beneath his heel, as slowly, his rage quenched, his victim ceased breathing and gargled mutely. If anything else it was proof that he was not a Captain to be messed with, that not even former crew could think to take his ship, his fleet, his rightful place. Caine shook the blood from his hands and straightened his jacket before turning to the crew with a sweeping wave of the hand. "Toss 'em overboard boys, if'n they can swim it'll give the sharks and monsters much needed exercise!" His gaze drew briefly across another mutineer, his bloodied corpse hanging from the sword that had been used to embed him to the very mast of the ship. Scraping his heel against the deck to clean it of grit, Caine strode over and freed his blade with one swift pull.

It was quite a change in the young Captain, the threat of mutiny quelling his mirthful spirit. No longer did he grin or laugh instead a scowl had replaced his handsome features, marking him for the demon he truly was. Blood turned his white coat crimson, his boots slick with the stuff and not a speck of clear wood in sight. "And clean up this mess 'less ye want to slip and fall into the sea yerself!" With that he stormed off, sliding his bloodied saber cross his coat and disappearing into the darkness of his cabin. The door slammed shut behind him, rattling the hinges with a clatter. He left the remaining crew to follow his orders and discuss amongst themselves the nature of this morning's events. One by one his faithful, demonic, crew set to work hauling bodies overboard and heaving buckets of clear seawater to toss upon the deck.

The grand Caravela Readona surged through the waters, the wind in her sails, and one man crewing her. It was surprising how much Sammael had learned since faking his death to escape the bindings of his "family", Kioku and Kaliyah, and to avoid Grithore's wife, Salem. He had found a home on the Island of Tor, Darkwood Manor, and had found a ship, though it was ragtag, and seemed to be falling apart, it was still slightly sea worthy, and hell, bedsheets made great sails. His long black hair was braided back, a look he had decided to take, as well as covering his face in black war paint to keep sightings of him to a minimum.

In the distance he could see another ship, the crew tossing bodies overboard. Man he loved violence, it was like a drug, and it was something he couldn't escape from it would seem. He braced his hands on the railing and leaped from the raised deck down to the poop deck, and unwrapped the brass rope from around the mast, and began tugging. Just as he had configured it, the bedsheets he was using as sails began to hoist themselves as he pulled the rope. It took a brave man to lead a crew, but a man sailing a massive ship by himself couldn't be an idiot either.

Judging by the amount of bodies the other ship was tossing overboard he figured a battle had come about, and seeing no other ship (you didn't say if there were more then just the one around) he figured it must have been a mutiny. It took a good captain to put down a mutiny, and loyal crew members. Once he had hoisted his sails, and tied them off, he ran to the front of his ship, throwing on a red captain's jacket, with gold fringes, the arms were stained black with a mixture of blood and the black dust of Tor. As the ship slowed from the lack of wind in its sailed, he called to the other ship. "Ahoy! Be... ye?..having a captain aboard?"

Kazarr had once again, deftly escaped the rabid purge of the captain. He had originally boarded the vessel as a stoaway, his main drive being that he needed to reach a certain point and he lacked the funds to do so. The ferric scent of the noxious red liquid dripped through the slits of the ingrained oak above him, a gasp leaving his mouth as he felt that familiar dampness on his shoulder. He had to escape, and he had to do it quickly. Despite his posing as a cleaner of the vessel, it could only be so long before the captain would have seen him, and he was sure that such a man would not be happy with a corruption of his hand-picked crew.

He sidled to the right as the stinking odour of an unclean mop moved rapidly over his head, quickening the rate of its insistent trickling. They would come down here soon, so he had best busy himself with a menial job of sorts, blend in with the crew if you will. He picked himself up and left the broom cupboard, straightening up before placing his hands on his sides.
"Hello there sir!"
He exclaimed to a passing sailor who smiled and acknowledged his presence with a simple nod.
"Just look the part and blend in"
He chuckled to himself before proceeding onto the main deck, a broom in one hand and a bottle in the other.
"G'Mornin' everyon'"
He looked drunk and perhaps he was. It mattered not, for what he saw next surprised him a great deal. A ship was coming in fast, at a tight angle to their own course before stopping short of a collision. He looked past him and noticed that he had arrived on his own, and abandoning all fear and sensibility took a tep forward and called back out
"Where is your crew kind sir?"

Mikash had trained in the art of not being seen so stowing away on the pirate vessal hadn't been that difficult. He stayed below deck and hide amoung the support beams of the deck above. At times he would steal food and drink, enough to keep himself alive.

For him the mutiny was no surprise, he had heard many whispered conversation while in hiding, several of them were planning the event.

Mikash had stayed hidden through the mutiny, to reveal himself then, would mean picking a side, and he didn't spend all that time hiding to pick the wrong side. Now that a winner had been declared it was time to reveal himself and reveal the remaining traitor, which he noticed seemed to have avoided being thrown overboard or just run through.

Mikash dropped for the beams silently and slowly made his way above deck and, for safety, quickly and easily climbed the rigging.

"I need to see the captain," he cryed to the crew below him, before most of them had even noticed him.

Sliding the bloodied coat from his shoulders he let it fall in a slippery heap to the floor. He'd have someone come clean it later, but the jacket was ruined, nothing got blood out of white. The next time they were in port Caine would vow to get more than just one coat. After all, there was no harm in keeping back up clothes. Sometimes the crew asked why he wore white with as bloody a career as thy had.Well. He just liked it, that's why. As he stripped his bloodied clothes and left them by the door he wiped off as much blood as possible from the throats of mutineers. Tossing the dirtied cloth in the pile he redressed quickly, as he was buttoning up his shirt there was a panicked knock at the door. Wiping a spot of blood from his face the Captain threw open the door. "Aye?" His mood had improved just slightly after getting out of those bloodied clothes but he was obviously still quite far form content. The poor demon stuttered about a ship and fled to escape any possible wrath from their young Captain. Caine left his cabin with a grunt and slammed the door behind him. Adjusting the collar of his half buttoned shirt the Captain trekked across the deck of his ship. The sight of another ship in close proximity to his own caused a scowl to draw across his features. With an order to the men to prepare arms just in case of hostility for it was not one of their ships, Caine motioned for a mate to bring him his sword.

As the leather belt reached his hands he tossed it haphazardly about his waist and awaited the arrival of their 'guest'. It was an unusual sight which met his eyes as a single man brought the large Caravela Readona to a halt. The tall fellow sported a red coat and called out to the ship. Over the wind and waves it was not that easy to hold a conversation. But a lad piped up from somewhere off to the Captain's side. Caine cast a sideways glance at him just as another man yelled something fro behind him. What in the nine hells was up with these sudden unfamiliar crew popping up out of the woodwork? He put it in the back of his mind for now, but not before whispering to one of his faithfuls to keep an eye on the two. "Aye." Caine drew his sword. "Who be askin'?"

The wait was getting awkward, and Sammael was ready to lower his sails and continue on his way, after all he had things to do before reaching the Isle of Mist, but stopping and talking to others seemed like a good way to pass the mind dulling hours at sea. As the Captain of the Ship walked out of his cabin, two other fellows quickly climbed on deck and began hailing the man as well. Such rudeness would never be allowed on his ship, that was one of the reasons why he didn't bother with a crew, he could handle it himself after all.

The sight of a Demonic crew was normally enough to throw someone off from going near the ship, but it didn't bother Sammael in the slightest, he had ties to powers that even he hesitated against going against, hence why he had faked his own death. "Aye, I be Sammael, owner and captain of this vessel." The man yelled, leaning against the railing of the ship, his massive great axe sitting near by, with in arms reach in case the captain should think of sending of his men aboard.

"I be needing directions to the Isle of Mist. I was coming from Tor when a storm knocked me off course, and I dare say, I feel a bit lost."
Sammael added, crossing his arms and leaning on the railing with his elbows. "I see ye had a bit of some trouble with some of yer crew. Well I say that those two men there," he pointed at them, " rather rudely decided that whatever they had to tell ye was more important than what I had to say. If they don't watch their tongues, I have ways of removing them."

Rising back to stand fully, he undid the buttons of his coat, revealing the heavy blackstone armor beneath, as well as the three swords that lay on his waist, while keeping the two axes he was so fond of behind his back. "Also, I be needing water, and perhaps some food. The sun sinks low on the horizon, perhaps I could come aboard for the night as well?"

Caine had far more pressing matters on his mind right now to be dealing with two stowaways. They'd not fought for or against him during the revolt so they were merely small items to note at the moment. The appearance of a ship now, that was a much bigger threat. Caine simply rose a hand at the man's long winded speech. A sign to halt for that was quite enough to be heard at this point in time. "Now I'll do as I please with my crew. Or lack thereof." Said the Captain, giving the two strangers another sideways glance.

He sheathed the blade back at his hip for the time being, motioning his crew back in the same gesture. "And how do I know I can trust ye? Its not everyday a ship rolls up askin for directions." Some of the less cautious of his crew muttered amongst themselves. Was the Captain really going to turn their ship into a hotel? Or maybe he had shadier plans in mind. But they went silent as the Captain cracked a grin. "Perhaps a symbol of trust to be given aye? Oh, anything will do. If not just to ease the worries of me crew, aye?"

Something had caught his ear. He whirled around, just in time to see a young lad hoist himself down from the perilous rigging, shouting something almost inaudible out. He watched with a puzzled look before returning to watch this new arrival upon the vessel. No sooner had he turned back, he was already on the deck and was complaining of his attitude towards the captain, unnerving him a little. It was bad enough having to play the part of a drunken deckswab, being accused with informality would get him killed sooner for treason than being a stoaway.

Kazarr chuckled a little, feigning inebriation before stumbling back a few steps.
"Sir, there be no need for that."
He shook his head, exaggerating the motion and bowed slightly, the half-empty bottle of a curious liquid spilling its load onto the deck below. He looked around, taking in the cautious attitude of the crew around him before calling out.
"And besides, who be you to challenge our great captain and his wondrous crew?!"
He threw his arms upwards in an attempt to rouse the crew against the man.
"Why, we should relieve you of your vessel and lock you up in chains."
Realising he had gone too far, he retreated once again into an uncomfortable silence

Mikash seemed to have picked a bad time to reveal himself to the crew and the captain, with the appearance of the other ship and the man on board who appeared to be the first in line for the captain's attention.

Mikash moved higher up the rigging, to remain safe while the captain's attention was on the man and the other ship, the last this he wanted was the crew to get over excited and slay him, especially the one remaining traitor that had yet to be found out.

Mikash smirked and the one crew member who didn't belong as he tried to at the part of a drunken crew member. From his hiding position Mikash had seen a bit of this fellow, hiding himself, but in less secure place. From what he had seem this man appeared harmless and was not the traitorous coward that still resided on the ship.

"Let me know when it's my turn to speak." he said with a heavy dose of sarcasm.

Sammael placed his foot upon the rickety railing of his ship, not having bothered to name it. But he did draw his blade and point it to the seemingly drunken pirate, who didn't look very much like a pirate, he wasn't as tanned as the others, neither was the man up in the rigging. He pointed the massive Axe toward the sarcastic man, his red eyes narrowed. His long hair swayed in the wind behind him like death's hood, as he debated chopping the smaller man into bits, but his attention went back to the captain. "Aye, I got your symbol of trust. But iffin he says another word he dies by my axe." He snarled, still glaring at the other pirate.

He removed his foot from the railing and kicked the anchor over the side of the ship, and watched it disappear into the water below. Walking back over to the railing nearest the other ship, he put the axe onto his shoulder in a lumberjack fashion and easily stepped up onto the rail and over the deep water between the ships to the others rail, and dropped down onto the deck. Reaching behind his back with his free hand, he pulled a small purse of gold from beneath his blackrock armor and tossed it to the pirate captain. "I've heard of you, Master Caine. Taken in by the King of Pirates whom its said even the Water Gods were a feared. I know well indeed," Sammael drew a blade from his belt, giving him two weapons in each hand, the sword and the axe. "It were he who give me this."

The Captain simply raised a hand at all this nonsense. It was quite obvious that he had a couple of people on his ship that didn't belong. However he would be sure to take care of that later. Perhaps make them clean out the nastiest parts of the ship, as payment for their passage. And if they didn't, well then someone would be receiving a nice little swim. Aye, that would be suitable enough. Others may have given lashings to people stowing away or not learning their place on HIS ship. Caine however was not some raging, demonic, captain with an ego complex. No, all he ever asked was for people to show some use. The mutineers however got to feel the full force of the captain's anger however. By now it should show, all the Captain that was Caine ever wanted was loyalty and hard work from his crew. That wasn't so much to ask now was it?

"Aye no, only one 'lowed to threaten my crew is me. Keep that in mind next time you decided to wave yer lil' tree cutter about. But his tone was lighter than before. The effects of bloody battle being quelled for now. A number of things was on his mind at the moment. For now however he simply stretched out a hand, and caught the satchel soaring his way. Testing its weight it his hands, he tossed it to one of his long standing crew members. The half breed demon nodded in understanding, before meandering off to place the gold in their stores. Caine only waved away the armored man's show of weaponry, before motioning his crew back to work. "Alright, simmer down and come on then."
