Guide For Editing Your Signatures Want to edit your signature? Not have a clue how? You're in the right place. I'm only going to cover the basics in this help topic, but feel free to >>PM me<< about any other questions you might have.  And remember, the whole BBC code list is >>here<<. Changing A URL to Text Do you want your URL to your description to show up as "Description" rather than the string of numbers? You use a simple enough code that can be found under the basic code guide that zetaboards gave us. You can replace the word "Description" with anything else you like. For instance, if you wanted to put a quote there instead, you'd put: This code works in signatures and in topics, and you don't have to just use it to link to your description. You can link to external sites (sites other than Avalon) as well, so you can use that when you're talking OOC, or even in the cbox, if you like. Adding Images You see those pretty banners and stuff that people have in their signatures? That's not very hard to do. All it takes is another pretty code. If you wanted an image, you'd put: Make sure that your image isn't too big for your signature, otherwise an admin will go through and add a spoiler code to make your signature smaller. Spoiler Codes These are relatively new codes that came up with the switch to Zetaboards, and they are the blueish codes you see in people's signatures that say, "Spoiler: click to toggle".Primarily, they are used in signatures to make them smaller and to make the board easier to read so that everyone doesn't have huge images. Images exceeding 500x500 px must be placed into spoilers to avoid stretching out the pages. Otherwise a staff member will do it for you. To add a spoiler code, type this: What you wrote would show up as: Spoiler: click to toggle Note: This code only works in signatures, and on the board posts- it does not work in the chatterbox.Having An Image Redirect To A Link Ever see the nifty pictures in people's signatures that redirect to a page like their description? It's not as hard as it looks.
This code will work anywhere on the board, from PMs to posts. However, I don't think this will work in the cbox. That's just the very basics of creating your signature.
