Most of the pain that the Dracotaur had felt during that brief procedure was mostly pushed aside. For him the intense burning in his chest while the mark made itself known was miniscule and it felt more like a scratch for him. It would take a wound such as what he had experienced years ago to truly get a response out of him, when he was torn open from limb to limb by a blade.

A clawed finger came up to breifly trace the contour of the seared mark lifted up from his scales. The very scales had been seared through by the formation of the mark. He assumed that in time, the mark would come to look a bit better; rather than looking like he had been branded like cattle. All in all he was quite impressed until more magics came into play.

The Dracotaur was far less impressed by the sight of the saddle manifesting from nothingness. Being used by a horse was not something that he had invisioned being part of his services for the goddess."I'll need combensation..." He grumbled as he reached for the saddle and began working at putting it on. Actually putting it onto his back was a bit of a hassle however, for he was not used to putting things onto that portion of his body.

Chazor's response received a very amused chuckle from the Goddess as she feigned a sympathetic face, "Oh come now, thou art strong enough to take mine weight!" As he hoisted the saddle into position Kaliyah moved to aid him by buckling the thick braces tightly so as to ensure it would not come loose. It was gesture that was not too in line with her character but she knew it would certainly hasten their departure. Grabbing at the back to test its sturdiness and making sure it was secure the vampire swung herself up and on to Chazor's back. It was not entirely uncomfortable she thought to herself as she settled herself in for the ride.

The Blood Goddess resisted the urge to give him a kick as she had the notion he would rather uncermoniously dump her to the ground without a second thought. Perched up on the hulking mass of the Dracotaur Kaliyah surveyed the area, things certainly were different from all the way above the ground. Being rather short as she was the vampire found herself rather enjoying the view or charred and mangled orc corpses.

"We shall talk about compensation later, once this damnable toe nail hath been found. Hast thee any idea of where a Hobgobbil wouldst be?" Kaliyah was rather certain they would not be in the immediate vincinity definately not after the fight that had just occured. So they would have to make up lost time and fast. As for his compensation she wondered idley what exactly a creature such as he would want? No doubt it would be something to cost her or test her patience. Oh well, that could be dealt with later on. Motioning off to the distant west of them she shrugged, "It would seem I am to follow thee, so let us be gone." Wrinkling her nose at the scattered mess around them she decided she was definately in the mood to get out of here. She hoped this would not take to long, she was in dire desire of a cleaning bath and a change of clothes. She could also get the chance to show Chazor her temple grounds. As a follower he would have use of most of the chambers and a place to board when he wanted.

"Far from here..." Chazor muttered. He was sure that by now the stench of death had dirfted over the surrounding area, driving beings far away from here. In the case of some closer, as evidenced by a few buzzards that had already landed in the vicinity, completely disregarding the two. One of them was a bit too arrogant however which was soon evident when a loud squak rung out from under one of Chazor's feet.

The dracotaur was quite unsure of where exactly they were going and the most he knew was they would be tearing off the toe of an unfortunate hobgoblin. Chazor supposed that if he knew the smell he could find one easy enough, however with the stench of orc blood clinging to his feet, it did little to aid him in catching any scents on the air.

"I can't smell a thing through this stench" He muttered, clearly annoyed by the strong smell of orc flesh and blood permeating the air.

Kaliyah found she rather enjoyed the smell of freshly spilt and congealing blood all around them. It got her rather excited if truth be told being the wicked lady that she was. But then again it was true what he said, the scent seemed to dominate all else and made it rather difficult to sniff out one's prey. Ignoring the vultures that circled around them in search of carrion the woman repeated her earlier request of leaving. Unfortunately she could do little now that she was awaiting on Chazor's back it was pretty much up to his disgression.

"Let us scour the western hills first, the little bogies are usually near the rivers or in the caverns. We shan't have too much trouble in capturing one. They be not the smartest of cretins and I hath a plan to fool them with a guise of treasures. Once one is spotted if it be of too much trouble to catch by foot ye can lay a trap."The woman was rather determined to ensnare a live one for the keeping, it would be the best option for her magic to turn out well. She could rope it up and bring it to the temple but if the little creature irritated her enough she would have to be done with it and resort to other methods.

They had an advantage over the goblins but in that they were weak and susceptable to being charmed and bamboozled with illusions. Scanning the horizons through narrowed eyes Kaliyah spotted what seemed to be the mouth of a river bed, a brilliant place to start the quest. Having fed and healed herself she was feeling rather jovial. Taking one last sweeping glance around them she tapped Chazor on the exposed scales to her left. Leaning forwards as close to his head as she could Kaliyah indicated where she wished to go.

"Come now. We must be off elsewise the sun will be rising and that is not to mine liking. I agree with thee that we shouldst be beggining far from here. The river's beginning over there is where I am thinking to start- we hath not the most time so let's be off at once. No more dallying."

At her beconing, Chazor set off. The coprses that lined the ground around them were a bit of an irritation for him and as he walked through the field the cracking of bones underfoot could be heard. There was even a breif squeel from a fallen orc as two tons of weight pressed down on it's belly while the Dracotaur walked over it.

Chazor was quite irritated over the woman using him like a horse and in a few chance moments his irritation was quite noticeable. But being in her service there was not much he would be able to do, aside from dumping her to the ground; which would lead to gaining the woman's ire.

Whilst they traveled awy from that place the air gradually became clearer and Chazor soon caught scent of the river that went through the area. There wasn't much else that jumped out at him however aside from the occasional odor from some foul creature.

Glad to be finally moving the vampire was surprised at the speed in which having four legs could excelerate to in such a short period of time. Looking down to where her well muscled two legs were, boot clad in soft leather, she tried to picture having an additional two. It was a funny thought indeed and would probably work out to be more of a hinderance than a help to her. Taking note of the idea though she thought to give it a try later on but now was not the time. Enjoying the pleasantness of not having to do much but hold herself on Chazor's saddled back Kali decided she might have to do this more often. The fact she could sense Chazor's irritation did not seem to bother her, afterall what did he expect? For her to carry him? No, this was much more appropriate.

Her keen eyes picked up on the movement of water, the gentle flow of the river that lapped at the muddy banks of stone and dirt. If one was to look closely they could spot the scurried flickers of colour that were fish and other aquatic animals that lurked in the depths. As she rode her Chosen Warrior closer to where they needed to be Kaliyah sent out tendrils of magic to test and see whether or not there was anything worth taking a closer look at in the vincinity. Finding there was nothing at all she called down to the Dracotaur.

"There be little here but waterflies and nymphs. Follow this stream down to the point where it be verging into two. One path'll go out to a bigger catchment but the other should take us straight up and into the caverns. I am thinking that ought to be where the dastardly creature's shall be. And don't thee frett too much warrior, it shan't be long now. Don't thee forget to call if thou art to see one first!" At the end her voice held a bit of a teasing note, she believed she would like shitstirring him frequently in a friendly manner of course! The terrain had turned into a muddy squalor, but up further one could see how it got rockier and solid. That was where she was certain they would find one if not a few.

Chazor changed his course accordingly, walking along the banks of the stream. Much of the time the murky waters were lapping up against his feet, which now had a considerable layer of mud layering the scales. It was a minor annoyance for Chazor and as long as he wasn't the recepient of any sharp objects in the earth, he wouldn't mind much.

Very soon the caverns came into sight and from looking at them Chazor could tell it might be a tight fit for him. Or atleast from what he could see, he had no knowledge of what the caverns were like, they could be either spacious or very crammed. He was hoping it would be on the cramped side and then perhaps he wouldn't have a woman using him like a horse.

"The creatures that dwell here smell quite foul..." Chazor muttered as the air wafting from the cavern assaulted his senses.

The vampire nodded solemnly, not that Chazor would have seen the gesture but perhaps he would have sensed it. Eyes squinted in focus she thought she would try her luck on foot from here on out. Tapping the beast of burden gently upon his shoulder she waited for him to cease in movement. It was almost amazing how far they had travelled in such a short period of time and as much as she had thoroughly enjoyed the ride she could definately sense her noble followers annoyance growing. It wasn't exactly as fun for him as it was for her and surely he thought it below his station.

"Most creatures do have a scent of sorts be it foul or pleasant is entirely dependant on whom owns the nose. I think thee shouldst stay here, unless thee wish to risk the venture inwards? I am none too fussed stay or come but remember to keep thine orbs ready for the form of a hobgobblin. I wouldst be ever so angered if it gets away."

Swinging her feet off and over to the left of the hulking lout the Goddess snapped her fingers and within moments the saddle she had summouned had disappeared just the way it had came- in thin air. Reaching into her robe she drew a small phial that contained a clear liquid, opening it and dabbing it just under her nostrils she inhaled deeply. The perfume masked the unpleasant odour which emminated from the caverns. Kaliyah knew from experience that this was not to be a scent she wanted to remember, the animals that inhabited these rocky dwellings were not know for their hygiene. Not only that, they loved to stockpile the cavader corpses of their victims not at all perplexed by rotting meat. The vampire was about to offer the tube to Chazor but realised she didn't even think he had nostrils, and his scales would hardly absorb the potion.

Returning it to her attire she took a couple of tentative steps forwards after riding such a distance on a steed so large her legs felt slightly unsteady. Pulling out a small dagger for the journey Kaliyah crouched down low and entered the cavern. It was dank and dark just the way she liked it. Hobbgoblins were small creatures and they didn't feel the need to construct their abodes to accomadate anyone larger, remaining as quiet as possible she kept her ears alert for any sign of noise. The dirt walls were tight next to around her sides and her head brushed against the roof, luckily the woman wasn't claustraphobic.

The trail took a steep course downwards before opening into a larger more open space. The Goddess found amusement in her current predicament, she had for sure had a most interesting day. Though she could not see much it was her ears that alerted her to a small, wrinkly like gremlin who had not yet spotted the vampire. Crouching down low with her back against the wall she waited for the right moment before springing into action. Her vampiric heritage leant her grace and speed that was far better than a humans, and within minutes she had captured that which she had initially set out for all those hours ago.

It squealed, it kicked, it bit and hollered. But the Mistress did not care she just bundled the little beast under her arm, stuffing its mouth with a piece of cloth and set off back the way she had come. Struggling as she made her way back up the incline and then out through the passage she was gladdened to see the night sky once more and Chazor. Handing him the goblin with a snort Kaliyah sheathed her blade. A live specimen would do just fine.

"The Cavern is far too narrow for me to fit easily..."
He was a fairly large creature and the most he could manage in that cavern would be one thing, getting himself stuck inside the passageway. His form was far better suited for guarding the entrance, to prevent any small creatures from trying to escape that way.

After a few moments of waiting the dracotaur began to get impatient, idly scratching his claws through the soil underfoot. He did not like staying in one place like this, for it quickly began to wear through his nerves. It was quite noticable as well, especially in the way he was standing and his gaze constantly shifting about to observe his surroundings.

His hearing caught the evidence of Kaliyah's success far before hiso eyes laid upon her form emerging from the cavern. It was hard not to hear the struggles of the foul smelling hobgoblin that was flailing about. Whilst Kaliyah emerged, the dracotaur was spenting more time observing the form of the goddess, rather than looking at the flailing creature she was holding, which was soon thrust into his arms. Chazor held it rather unceremoniously, his hand closing around it's ankles. The muffled sounds from it's person annoyed Chazor enough to prompt him to lift the creature up to eye level, in which he treated it to particularly savage snarl that promptly shut the little creature up.

It had been an almost comical adventure this evening and the Goddess was unsure as to what would happen next. She could feel the obtrusive gaze of her new follower actively viewing her slender body but that was not too bothersome. She had dealt with far worse in her time. No it was something to do with the fact the woman was now exerted and tiresome of the whole outing. She wished to be home in the comfort and granduer of her temple abode, not stuck out in the midst of the Yseulte with some overgrown reptile. Her fickle nature allowed her moods to changed very rapidly and in a severe way. Straightening her attire as much as she could in such circumstances she eyed the dracotaur with a stern eye.

"Know thee where mine temple be located lizard?"

Stretching herself leisurely, content to be out of the crippling confines of the cavern the Goddess gave little away in regards to her thoughts or feelings. The sun would be rising to greet the morning sky soon enough and the vampire was certainly not going to stick around to see the view. She had at least been fed on the blood of mangy orcs which had dampened her hunger, but she still ached for the company of her beasts and the surrounds of a more lavish setting. It was all rather depressing now that she had accomplished that which she had set out to do.

Capturing the small beast was but half of her troubles. Once she returned home there was a lengthy and complex spell and ritual to continue with. A scrying tool that allowed her to see a little more into the future with clarity and answer the questions the Goddess wished to know. Sighing gently the pallid woman reasoned to herself whether it would be better to travel alone to her grounds and allow Chazor to return the critter to her or go with him. It was all becoming ever so mundane and boring for the fun part had already passed and now she would have to do that which she had intended to start all those hours ago. Damnable distractions, they always got the better of her.

"I'll know when you tell me" Chazor said in response. They had just met and before then Chazor had no knowledge of her existance, so he also had no knoweldge of where the temple was located. The Dracotaur was also getting very restless, moving his front right foot around alot in the soil, producing a fairly large foot print. For the last two days he had not slept and he was getting over due for some sleep.

The hobgoblin was squirming around alot in his grip, but Chazor kept a strong grip on it's person. Breifly he turned his head to direct another growl towards the little fiend, giving him a growl that basically said 'stop or i'll eat you'. Of course the hobgoblin kept on with it's useles flailings, that only served to further annoy Chazor. The temptation to break it's leg was growing but Chazor decided against it, if the creature died he could end up subjected to a similar fate.

Having decided upon the former of her options the pale Goddess outstretched her hand for the return of the little hobgobblin, she mused that it would be a far better option to carry the creature herself. The newfound notion that had meandered through her thoughts would take Chazor a far longer time that she guessed he would have anticipated. A little... challenge for him, a quest of sorts to see if he was truely worthy as a follower. She would give him the directions to her humble abode but within them there would also be a fair detour for the reptile to overcome. In fact she thought to herself with a small amount of amusement, she did not expect to see him return for many a moon time if ever.
A new task was now his for the doing. Better to bundle the little imp and bind him heartily to herself, foul tempered and stench ridden as it was and set about the trappings for her fresh plan.

"And tell thee I shall, for I presume thee to be far too daft to possess the ability to read script or even follow a map."

Her voice held no contempt or scorn just the facts. Kaliyah found the fast approachment of dawn an irritating fact for she was far more at home in the sweeping net of darkness than the burning pains of daylight. Deciding to get this done as swiftly as possible she motioned for Chazor to come closer, as if to let him in on a conspirital secret. Again the glow of magic could be seen forming around her free hand before the air thickened and snapped in a typical showy fashion. Now contained within her gnarled was an intruiging and oddly placed artifact considering their situation and circumstance.

A spear.

A spear of a most beautiful craftsmanship summoned from the depths of Kaliyah's collection to be presented to the large lizard man. It's rigid length wraught of iron, smooth and finely polished with no evidence of it's age but the most astheticly pleasing factor was the obsidian inlay. A precious rock that had to be painstrakingly mined from volcanic areas- a dangerous task in itself, but it's hardness and magical properties were well worth the sacrifice of a few labourers to their burning laval deaths. Handing the conjoured weapon to Chazor she gave him a curt set of instructions, detailing among other things the path to which he was destined to take in order to get to her temple. This journey would begin at a place called Tirnag Mel and from there, well, who knew where it'd end. Re-adjusting the bothersome little imp that had been the focus of her trip into the Yseulte she gave Chazor a short nod of her blood splattered head.

"The spear is thine, do with it as ye will and mayhap one day we shalt meet again follower."

With those words the ill reputed Goddess winked into the fading darkness in a mist of ebony.
