Since the Dracotuar had traveled through Tirnag Mel, he had gained a group of followers. However they were not freindly followers, instead being a group of Orcs. The beasts had been following him for days, only attempting to attack him when he was least expecting it. Their numbers had already been cut in half by the beasts fury.

At this moment, another of their posse was being slaughtered. The orc had failed to take Chazor by surprise and it was paying the consequences. Chazor's foot was palce squarely on it's belly, his talons digging into the filthy creatures flesh. The upper half of Chazor's body was bent down to the Orc's level. His arms were busy tearing and ripping the orc apart. Blood was everywhere, on the barren ground, and Chazor's skin. His fury in this area was unmatched and there were not many who would approach during such a display of blood lust.

Chazor gripped the side of the Orc's head in his hands and with a powerfull jerk, seperated the orcs neck from it's shoulders. He roared into the contorted face until he chucked the head aside.

What terribly dreary place was the only sentiment that seemed to whisper through the Kaliyah's mind as she trudged across the barren landscape. A fierce and temptuous gale buffeted against her slender form which did little to lighten her sour mood. Nothing of interest would have brought her to such a desolate location were it not for the need of a hobgoblins toe nail. Something which was not so easy to aquire from the sanctaty of her temple abode, so the venture had to be taken. In this instance she had decided Shagol to be the best place to find such a thing.

Kaliyah's spellwork had improved somewhat over the years though in her long and frequent absences her stores and inventories had gone to shit, there was little remaining over use in the alchemist like storerooms. And had the spell not have taken her precious time to the tune of a better part of a moon's phase she might have let it be. Muttering ungodly curses under her breath the lady of blood continued on until she heard a peculiar sound breaking through the monotony of nothingness.

A unmistakable scent also prevailed. Blood. And a far amount of it. Tilting her head gently she inhaled deeply, almost as if devouring the particles that revealed to her the nature of its source. Orc for sure. It didn't aid her much. She was on a mission of sorts. But she did find it peculiar.

Dissolving into the darkness Kaliyah reappeared to a most entertaining of scenes. A serpentine beast of sorts elbow deep in clarret. Wonderful.

Perhaps, she thought slyly to herself, the day was turning out better than expected.

A very bad temper was one of Chazor's more obvious traits. This was far from the first time he had lost it. Back in Tirnag Mel there were a number of rotting orc corpses, which were why the Dracotaur was being pursued by them in the first place. Generally his tember would fade after awhile, but given the right chain of events he could very well end up in a long and bloody rampage.

Chazor delivered a powerful stomp to the headless cadaver, the sickening crunch of bones snapping like twigs ringing through the area. The Dracotaur rose to look around his surroundings. His chest and most of his arms was coated with orc blood. The little clothing that he wore, which was netting over his shoulders, was covered with blood.

Chazor's black eyes surveyed the area breifly, quickly catching sight of the woman some distance to him. Overwhelmed by rage, Chazor acted without any thought on the matter. Smoke began to billow from the corners of his mouth, the smoke thick and a warning of what was to come. It was a display of his lineage, his kin derived from dragons millenia ago. A ball of flames emerged from deep within his body, shooting out of his mouth.

One should hope such a greeting was not directed to mine own direction. Was the less than amused thought that idled through Kaliyah's head. She was hardly in the mood to be triffled with regardless of whom the hulking lug before thought he was, she almost expected the creature to beat his chest and roar. The image she just conjured brought a brief chuckle of amusement from the Goddess.

Her predatory gaze not having left Chazor and his orc strewn carnage, Kaliyah made a decision to halt her mission for a hobgoblin toe-nail and instead though perhaps it was time some one taught the rude brute a lesson in manners. Raising a slender hand the Goddess began a series of oddly distorted gestures, her spindly fingers jolting and swirling about in the most peculiar of ways.

A crimson glow now begun to encircle her extended arm as a low rumble rose to an audible pitch. It was similar to when the heaven's above spewed forth the rains and the cloud's grumbled and moaned their discontent. But Kaliyah was not bringing the rains, no indeed not. Something entirely different, the flaming ball of fire that had been emitted from Chazors mouth and was hurling through the air seemed to stop completely in mid flight. Frozen in a suspended sort of animation metres from where he stood, there was a single whispered word from the Mistress's lips, and then it appeared as if the firey mass began to grow. Slowly at first, but then with a newfound eagerness, the ball of fire expanded thrice its original size.

Happy with her creation Kaliyah's made a flicking movement with her hand, and the flame followed her lead. A small smile was evoked as she saw the dragonic fire ball fling straight back from whence it came. Directly towards Chazor.

Chazor had had experience in deflecting other fireballs. Around his kin disputes that lead to fireballs flying everywhere were fairly common, so many of his kin were very good at countering a fireball with one of their own. Chazor was just one of the many with that skill, though now it was probably just a handfull after the attack so long ago. The Draconian beast tilted his head slightly at the sight of his fireball stopping in midair. He was dumbfounded by that, for he had never had dealings with magic like this before.

Chazor's black eyes were fixated on the flaming sphere as it gradually grew larger. The dracotaur's focus on the woman had wavered, his mind occupied by the flaming sphere. The hand gesture barely registered in his mind until the fireball launched towards him, leaving a trail of smoke behind it. His counter was delivered swiftly, a ball of flames launching from the confines of his gullet, racing across the distance. When the large fireball and the smaller one collided, they ceased to travel, instead exploding outward.

Kicking with his back legs, Chazor propelled himself forward. Having four legs was much better than the measly two that humans possessed, the speed of a human was limited, while his kind could keep up with a horse with ease. He charged through the temporary wall of flames to close the distance between him and the woman. If the dracotaur got close enough he was going to rear up on his back legs and slam the woman to the ground with his forelimbs.

A common trap for creatures not familiar with the various races apparent in Avalon, was to assume that those of the two legged appearance were human. Whilst the draconian creature may have been able to keep up with a horse, the Goddess possessed uncanny speed and agility as well as more magic then one could poke a stick at. As Chazors form came hurdeling towards her, the vampire's sharp reflex became abundantly obvious, moving unworried from his path with a demure sidestep she scooted herself away from the direction he was headed. Putting a few spans of distance between their two persons.

Kaliyah tutted to herself as she watch the brainless savage, rampaging to the space in which she had stood but moments before. Raising her finger to shake it in a chiding manner, she addressed him cooly.

“Now why wouldst thee go an' do a thing like that for?” She was not sure if he even spoke the common tongue, not that it mattered much. She presumed likely not, he didn't look like a creature that could hold much intelligence. More comparible to a large, steaming, heap of dragon dung than a form with intellect and reason.

Twisting her hands about in that same eerie manner the goddess Kaliyah chose a spell with a sinister twist, Spontaneous Combustion.

Where the wreckage of discarded corpses lay, their lifeless bodies already beginning to stiffen with death, a curious sound began to issue forth. Almost like a popping noise that got increasingly louder by the minute. Suddenly a roughened orc arm exploded into flames, followed by the bodies of those also fallen beside him. The stench was attrocious, the puckered flesh cooking within seconds, charred remains flying about the surrounds as Kaliyah flung them far and wide.

She was going to teach Chazor a lesson, by letting one of his limbs he seemed to prize so much explode into fire as well but perhaps she had a use for the creature. She had a bit more fun to be had first. Wiggling her thumb, she directed the spell towards his attire. Soon his clothing would be a sweltering inferno around his armoured body. She was almost certain his scaled defenses would deflect majority of the attack but it was more of a warning to him. A show if you will of what she could do. It would take as little effort to make it his head that was ablaze, as it would to do his garb.

Facing him with a pale mask of emotionless disposition, the Goddess's hand reached to her laden belt, drawing her blade deftly from it's scabbard. This would be interesting.

The speed at which the woman moved was quite surprising for Chazor. One moment he thought he was going to be on top of the woman where he would be able to maul her, the next she was well out of his reach with a simple series of side steps. When Kaliyah spoke, the words quickly registered in Chazor's mind. He took it as mocking which served to bolster the already swirling tempest of rage within his mind.

His attentioned shifted from Kaliyah when his ears, whereever they may be, caught the popping sound in the air. Very soon he caught side of the orc arm brusting into flames which was followed by a most foul smell in the air. Chazor had already made the mistake of attempted to eat orc flesh and the taste alone made him vomit, but this smell was comparatively worse.

Chazor noticed the heat of his clothes bursting in flames long before he saw it. As the fish net that coated his arms burst into flames, his hands were already grabbing at his clothing. He was saving no mercy on his now flaming clothes, flames licking about his hands as he unceremoniously tore the leather from his body.

The Dracotaurs black gaze came to focus on Kaliyah aonce again, seeing that she was drawing a blade. Behind him, Chazor's tail was moving from side to side, intent in it's movements. He said nothing but his forelimbs shifted forward a bit as his back legs braced themselves against the earth. It was quite obvious that he recognized the blade. "Bring it woman..." Chazor spoke, his voice deep.

"Oh, of that thee can be certain." Perhaps the creature was as daft as his form suggested, one could not begrudge a creature for its genetic flaws. It did not mean that Kaliyah was going to take it easy on this mere mortal though. Why was it, that every up and coming hot shot thought it wise to rush into battle with a deity? Did they not realise the reason one that the vampire was known as a Goddess was due to her vast power and cunning. Especially in the case of one such as Kaliyah, whom had been in her throne for years stretching past the memories of nearly all in the lands.

Now there were only two of the pantheon left, an odd thought twittered by Kaliyah's mind, perhaps it was time to go and meet the Goddess Kioku? It would be pleasant to have someone who understood the tiresomeness of their place in this world. Still, with a quick gleaming over Chazor Kaliyah summed up that the lizard like beast probably had no idea at all whom she was. This fact also irked her. Everyone should know of her! She felt her anger rising, the seed unfurling swiftly in her gut. She had learnt in her time that vexation could be used to her advantage, as long as she did not allow it to consume her.

Without another thought, nor indeed another word the slender woman assumed her fighting stance. Her body lean and taut like a finey tuned weapon should be. She would not allow the far bigger creature to get in close to her, his bulk and sheer force would do her ill if he got that advantage on her. However, her slighter form and the inbuilt aptitude of her species would be a tactical benefit.

The blade she had chosen was know as Adomhoar a sword of lightening- which gave clue to what it did. A stike into that scaley flesh of Chazors would also provide a well deserved, searing zzzaapp! Volts of electricity to run through his body, twisting and spasming through his muscles. Kaliyah's joviality returned slightly with the thought, armed with her weapon in one hand she reached into her garb to grab another nasty little surprise. Shruiken- their several shapes blades whirled through the air almost instantaneously. She had barely even taken aim, before launching them in Chazors direction. One, two, three were slicing their air audibly, like a knife through butter.

A breath later and Kaliyah was charging towards the burning Dracotaur, her slender form seemed to blur into the darkness, so swift was her movement that it was actually appearing as if she teleported through space and time. Ripping through the fabric that contained this world, only to crash back through moments later. Then again, perhaps that was exactly what she was doing? You could never be certain with the vampire mistress.

She did not fight fair. She fought to win.

While Chazor had been occupied with ripping the flaming clothes from his clothing he failed to keep a proper eye on the godess. His ears however registered the sound of the Shuriken's wizzing through the air. The dracotaur responded almost on instinct raising his arms to protect his face. He did not know what it was that he heard but he had had enough experiences with flying objects to know to protect his face.

The three shurikens embedded themselves in his hide. Two lodged themselves into his arms and one dug into his chest. A little blood was trickling from the fresh wounds but it was nowhere near what would be expected from the same wound on a human.

He found he did not have the time to properly respond to the womans next attacking. In the breaths moment it took him to see her it was likely too late to counter attack. He could barely see her as she charged towards him. However he still made an attempt to defend himself, brining his long tail around in an attempt to whip her.

Kaliyah was pleased to see her shruikens lodge into the scaled hide of Chazor, however little the damage did not matter for they brought about the desired effect. The intoxicating scent of blood rose through the air, those scarlet jewels beaded delicately against the emerald colouration of his scales. How quaint. Adding fuel to her fire she felt the most pressing need to spill more of the creatures blood. Much much more. She knew it would not be too hard to do so, blood was of course right up her alley. Stretching out her sword arm, she gave it a practising flourish but in the midst of her preoccupation she failed to realise the beast had an extra appendage.

Seeing as she had not accounted for its presence, she did not adjust her course in time to avoid the collision. A stupid mistake and one she would definately not overlook again, as the heavily scaled piece of meat came thundering towards her and smashed rather ungracefully into her side. A heavy groan was pushed from her lungs, as a snarling grin traversed her features. The impact did more damage than anything else, throwing her off her stride and almost to the ground the Goddess took a moment to regain her composure.

Damnation and blisters on thy tongue! Scowling and cursing to herself Kali admonished her lack of attention. But soon parried back with another charge, this time she had time to cast another one of her sly spells. One that would surely hamper his movement.

Web

As Kaliyah moved in to strike a blow, thick and rampant web's began to encase Chazors hands. Binding them in the sticky substance within mere moments.

Chazor had enough time to relase a triumphant roar from the confines of his throat, just before Kaliyah began her attack a new. The blow he increased the distance between them slightly but it was not enough to actually make some sort of distance.

Must be faster, must be stronger Chazor thought, mentally reminded himself of the task at hand. His only intentions now were to bash this woman to the gorund for he saw not that she was indeed faster than him.

Very soon he was met with a magic that he was not familiar with. The web seemed to materialize from the air itself, latching onto his hands and spreading from there. while the web encased his hands, tendrils lashed out between his hands binding them together into a sticky mass. By that point the two ton beast was far more occupied with freeing his lhands from their bindings.

Kaliyah took advantage of the fact Chazor's hands were of little use to him, still keeping in mind he had that dastardly tail to contend with, she struck forcefully at his unarmoured side. Her blade hit true with a shocking effect to match, the snapping and crackling reasserting the sword's namesake before she swiftly darted out of his reach again. Pivoting with a well practised ease she decided to turn it up a notch and thrusted herself directly in front of the bulking beast. Her sword arm dancing and weaving about looking for an opening to strike, one that would land a costly blow.

She truly did appear to be a Goddess in all her glory. That slender figure with her deadly beauty, face set in a mask of steely concerntration as she moved and spun about the terrain. Her mahogany tresses flowing behind her in a crowning glory, her revealing attire clinging hopelessly to her shape. The wind had all but died down and not a soul could be heard, not even the laughter of the imp like cretins.

Had she not been so irked by his hostile nature perhaps she could have found it within herself to go a little easy on him. But that would not be the case, she had an array of weapons and and even greater amount of magic to throw at him before this would be ended. Fool. It became evident that any lurking orc's had fled the scene. Not that they were a cowardly race, but given the circumstances even their inferior brain's could grasp the fact that this was not a situation they wished to involved themselves in.

To the vampire little else mattered now, except to have a thoroughly blood-soaked adventure. And the blood she wished to spill was none other than Chazors. He would think twice next time before instigating a duel with a deity. If he lived to tell the tale.

Adomhoar tore across Chazor's flesh, just above his left forelimb. A good sized cut had been made through his scales. The flesh just under his scales was singed by the electricity which in the process prevented any bleeding. Waves of pain were shooting through his flesh, the wound burning while electricity raged through his body. But through it the Dracotaur just clenched his teeth and pushed it aside.

Chazor had the look of a brutish dragon and there was not much to it aside from that. The only hints of his sentience were the clothing that he wore and the look in his black emotionless eyes. Right now his face was mostly overwhelmed by rage and his lips were curled up revealing his teeth to sight.

A snarl passed through his jaws as Chazor observed the goddess before him. Without any kind of thought on the consequences, Chazor reared up on his back legs. Mere seconds later he brought his front legs crashing down intending to pin the woman under his feet.

Kaliyah had now just gotten herself into the exact predicament she had hoped to avoid, with the largesse mass of the dracotaur's form coming down heavily atop her considerably smaller one. Stuck like a pig in the mud she knew she had no chance to overpower him, the filthy stench of his breath could be felt on her face. The vampires own face contorted with rage and hollow disbelief. It appeared she was getting rusty after such a long withdrawal from the world. Never mind. Dark brown eyes stared unwaveringly into the reptilian ones of Chazor. It would have been quite a comical thing to behold, here lay the Goddess of Blood flat on her back in the dirt and dust glaring unforgivingly up at a savage whom had managed to pin her beneath his sizeable claws.

“That was not a very wise move, thee languorous curr of a whore spawn.” She chose to savour her breath now, though there was much more she could have said. Thrashing instinctively she affirmed to herself it was a useless avenue to try, had she known where his testicles hung she would have worn them as a belt when she got free! In her left hand her blade was clutched uselessly. Silently she made promises of Chazor's demise while her brain thought quickly.

Energy Drain

This spell only worked while another was in direct contact. And luckily for her as long as Chazor wished to pin her down she would have that direct link to his reserves. The air hummed with tension and an eerie crimson glow began to colour the Goddess. Her body was limp now as it greedily absorbed the towering mongrel's power, his energy surged through her at an alarming pace. She doubted he would even realise what was happening, little did she care.

Who did he think he was? To make the woman suffer an insult such as he had just provoked was punishable by only one thing, death. Or perhaps there would be another option? Enslavement. But that was not important at this moment. Later there would be plenty of time for that. She considered another spell as she lay there, to tamper with Time Effects. If she wanted she could quite easily reverse the aging of her attacker making him nothing more than the egg he had crawled out from. Or perhaps to go the other way and make him an frail and incapcitated, shrivelled old thing. This brought a devious smirk to her lips, truly what did this fool hope to gain?

Content with the amount of vitality she had liched from the reptile, Kaliyah turned her mind to the calling of Mana Breath. She felt great, almost as if vigorous as if she had fed. All the previous tiredness and exertion had left her little frame and she was now more than ready to get even. As the ebony mist surrounded her twittering fingers, she said but one more thing to Chazor. "Fool.["

With a click of her spindley digits the formation of magic burst forth, it's destination, directly into Chazors chest.

Chazor move proved to be sucessful, finding this woman pinned beneath his forelimbs, atleast two tons bearing down on her frame. If the dracotaur's hands were free he would not have hesitated to disembowl the woman where she laid. The webs were high up in his priorities and he would be finsihed with them shortly.

"You speak arrogantly for one who is pinned..." Chazor commented in response to her words. He was finding this woman to be quite impressive. Seldom did he see beings with such power hidden away in a small frame.

Chazor was just about to release a burst of flames from his belly to deal with the webs when he felt the sensation of the goddess's spell. He did not quite know what it was, but he could feel himself growing weaker by the moment. Chazor was no fool he knew she was up to something and went he heard her speak again he was on his guard.

The dracotaurs black eyes quickly caught the sight of the mist about her fingers and he was not going to take the chance of taking the bow of whatever the woman was planning. And as she clicked her fingers, Chazor was quick to make his move. He pushed off the ground with his left limbs to clear himself of the attack. But he did not get as far as he would have liked, as his arm took the blow. The limb was thrown back and there was an audible crack as his arm was forced farther than it was meant to.
