Aaidus looked arounf the moor, it was close to midnight and he still had not found a place to stay, but he figured he would wander around the eastern lands for the night. He did not need sleep anyway, if he shifted every few hours his body would keep itself awake. |

The dragon flew low over the terrain that made up this area of Avalon. She had flown for the entire day and it was proving to be a real endurance test for her. Her back muscles where hurting, as where her eyes. She had lost track of time, and was not sure what time of the night it was. Narina decided to desend to the ground and rest for a while, or risk loosing control of the magic which she was holding onto. she landed hard, making sure not to hit anything she was not supposed to, and hoped not to bump into any unwanted company. She scanned the surrounding land and then slowly made her way through fields, finally finding a spot under a large tree and lay down under it, not transforming back to her human state, for safety reasons. |

Aaidus noticed a dragon land someplace near him and he ran to see it. As he reached the great beast he watched it transform into a woman. Aaidus' eyes zoomed in on her, and he decide he would have some fun. Closing his eyes his boyd changed to match her's exactaly. Walking up to the woman he looked down at her curving form laying on the ground, waiting for her to notice him. |

She had closed her eyes to rest them, there was no point in straining them. She was not goint to achieve anything by making herself suffer. As she lay there she sensed the presence of another close by, and opened one eye, looking about to see if anyone or anything was there. She jumped to her feet with such speed because of the shock that met her eyes. It was like a mirror image of her form. Narina's eyes widened in horror. "What the hell?" she whispered to herself"please tell me this is a trick" she thought to herself, and desided to see just if this was real or not. She reached out towards the figure infront of her but drew her hand back quickly, and changed into the dragon which she had come to this area as, "If this is real, do that" she had changed her dragon form, her slver scales shimmering in the moonlight. |

Aaidus laughed, she shapeshifted, his specialty. The clone shifted, and a carbon copy of this woman's dragon form was standing infront of her. The copy-dragon's head tilted back and a rumbling laugh went up. The dragon's form melted away and Aaidus' most common form was standing i it's place, clad in pure white. The Shifter looked down at his feet, "I am sorry, My Lady, but that was something I have not done in a while, it never getts old. Once again I am sorry. Aaidus did not lift his head untill the dragon/woman spoke to him. |

Her eyes widened when she saw the mirror image change into an exact copy of her favourite form. "Is this some kind of dream, or am I going mad..." she thought to herself, it could not be real. As she saw the image rock its head back and low rumbling laugh came out, she glared, and she felt anger and frustration growing within. When the form changed, she looked down in disgust at the man now standing in front of her. He found it funny to scare someone in the middle of the night. His outline was clear as the dim moonlight reflected of his clothing. Narina changed her form to human again, almost hidden because of how dark her clothing was. If her hair had not been silver, she would have been almost invisible apart from her pale skin. "So you find amusement in freaking people out? heh" she said, her voice low and irritated, she was exhausted and did not need this at the moment. "You are forgiven this time... but only this time. It's not every day I have the privilege to meet another Shifter, I'm Narina, and you are?” Narina was not normally friendly, usually preferring to keep to herself at most times. |

She kept herself alert as she listened to him appologise again, and then saw the smile on his face when he lifted his head. "hmm, You appologise too much, once was enough... Ive never tryed to take the form of another before... " she said, her eyelids beginning to feel heavy again and she yawned, putting her hand over her mouth and muffled the yawn." Forgive me, I have been traveling the whole day and am rather weary." she said, taking a seat at the base of the tree again, and resting her back against the trunk. "Which part of this land do you come from in particular or do you just travel about?" she asked, looking away from him and up at the moon hidden behind the clouds that had formed not so long ago. |

Aaidus smiled again when Narina said he appologized too much. This was something the Shifter knew. Aaidus thought back to his last memory, the ones from the Bard's house. "Well I don't remember where I am from originaly, but my last memories are of the Eastern Lands. I would lke to ask you the same question." Aaidus sat down in the soft grass and waited for a reply, or a comment whatever was said it didn't matter to him. |

Narina looked up from where she sat and saw the smile appear on his face at her words, and listened as he spoke, and was rather puzzled when she was asked to tell where she came from and was beginning to regret even asking the question. She remained quiet for some time, looking away from where he stood, but keeping herself aware of his movements, and watched him through the corner of her eye as he sat down on the grass. "I don’t really know the answer to that question... heh... it was a stupid one to ask anyway." she said, a slight tone of amusement in her voice. "My travels have taken me to so many places that my childhood seems to have drifted out of memory. What are you doing out on these plains at this time of the night anyway if I may ask?" |

Aaidus shruged, he had no placeto sleep, that is why he was out at night. He wasn't about to tell her that. BEfore asking his next question Aaidus giggled a bit, "Can I ask you that question?" This was a stupid thing to say yes, but Aaidus didn't care, he acctualy wanted to know. |

Narina saw him shrug and looked up at the moon peaking through the clouds after turning her head away from his direction and pulled her knees up to her chin. She heard him giggle and then ask if he could ask her the same question, and could not help but smile and laugh lightly to herself, shakin her head the whole while; not because she would not answer, but because all the questions she had asked where being thrown back at her as she asked them. She moved her one hand away from around her legs and patted the ground on which she sat. "Right here I suppose... I was hoping to make it to Siantos but i found myself too tired to continue on the flight, Its still a long journey... and well, I was hoping to get a few hours of rest before continuing on the journey and by-pass Siantos all together..." she said looking up at the moon again. "So, what line of work or jobs do you do, or do you just travel the lands?" |

Aaidus looked at Narina, he did not exactaly know what his "job" was, he knew his calling, but it didn't pay well. "You could say I am a defender of sorts. However I don't get paid for what I do. I like it that way, all I get is gratitude and that's reward enough for me." The Shifter smiled at the girl sitting accross the fire from him, and wondered what she would say to his reply. |

She sat there silent but listening to what he said, feeling the warmth of the fire that was lit between the two of them. She saw him smile and returned it, but a weaker form of it. She felt guilty after hearing what he had said. "Have you ever killed someone for no reason, have you ever... “she found herself not able to continue sentence. She had killed her parents and the person who she had been promised to as a wife. |

Aaidus looked at Narina, he knew what she asked, "Im the life I cannot remember I may well have. In the time I can remember I have not killed or hurt some one who has not done harm in front of my eyes. You have I see it in your eyes" The statement was hard to say, the shifter knew it would hurt Narina to remember her past, as it was for him to remember the Bard. |
