An unusual ship was making it's way across the ocean, bound for the glass cliffs of the pheonix. The day was a decent one some clouds were blocking out the brunt of the sunlight. The sunlight that did reach the ocean was being reflected by the iron roof of the turtle ship, the gleam being visible for miles. Oars were slicing through the choppy waters of the ocean, the oars being driven by 80 oarsmen hidden from the sight of anyone else.

Rurik was standing at the front of the ship, where he had opened the twin doors so he could see outside. He was looking out to sea from the spot he was standing, gazing out towards the horizon."It's a great day for sailing..." Rurik said."Bit uneventfull too..." He trailed off since he was slightly bored, hince him staring out at the sea.

The calm ocean seemed beautiful, however it was beneath the sea where the action was happening. The Duskbringer shot through the water quickly, letting the currents push the ship beneath the sea. Not to far behind, the Western Avalonian Trading Company stalked it’s prey: the ever infamous Pirate Lord Kalyps.

“Port to starboard,” barked out the man as he crew of few dashed about, fixing up small areas of ropes and hooking up more sails than were needed. Quickly, the man looked back and saw the shadows of the Trading Company coming faster. Quickly the man jumped down and let his hand below deck.

“All hands on deck! I want movement! MOVEMENT!!” With this the boy flicked his wrist and yelled a word unintelligible, but obviously was a clue for all of the crew because they braced as the ship lurched and breached the small ocean. Beside the rather large ship was a slower ship.

“Damn turtle ships,” the boy sighed softly as he peered over the side, the ocean water still draining from his ship. “Move out of the way or be CRUSHED!” The boy spat his words as he began to rotate his hand in a circle. In response, the ocean began to spin slowly, each crest of each wave reaching a bit higher than the last. All at once, anyone at the viewing distance of the boy could see what he was doing:

He was creating a whirlpool.
