Deep within the recesses of the Dungeons of Dorukan, a lone figure walked through in hope of finding the promised treasure the crippled woman told her of. She had promised that there would be enough gold here to live lifetimes without having to work, and that was exactly what Paige needed. However, the rogue was feeling quite vulnerable in these dark passageways. She had been warned of the dangers here, the traps, the minions and such like - but the danger would be worth the gold. Walking on, the rogue saw a bend in the passage way and peered into it to ensure that nothing was standing guard there. Indeed, a couple of armed goblins were chattering away in their boredom, Paige smiled and sneaked towards them within the small amount of shadows left. Hopefully the goblins would be too immersed in their conversation that the rogue would manage to sneak past them or even get a weapon off them. After a few more steps, Paige realized that there was no shadow left to hide in and if she were to come out of it - she would most definitely be seen by the goblins. Sighing, the rogue continued sneaking without the concealment of the Goddess of Night. One of the goblins caught sight of her immediately, drawing his bronze sword in preparation to slay her. As she was unarmed, the rogue felt ready to sprint away - though she wasn't going to turn back without a fight. Besides, she had great talent in evasion and mere goblins were surely not talented enough to make a dent on her pale skin. "Hello there. Would you mind if I killed every single one of you, snatch a key off your dead body and run off with two hundred thousand gold pieces?" asked Paige cheerfully. The three goblins sneered and ran up towards her with their swords high in the air, shaking her head at the sheer lack of strategic skill this charge tactic had, the rogue grabbed one of the goblins on the shoulder and back flipped over him. Turning around immediately, the woman punched him on the back of his head exactly where she was trained to do. The goblin fell out of consciousness immediately - as to be expected. The remaining goblins attempted to slash at her with their bronze swords, but instead met the flesh of their unconscious comrade who's body was being physically maneuvered by the rogue to form a macabre sheild of sorts. Slipping out the keys that the unconscious goblin held, the rogue threw the goblin at the other two and fled. Excellent... Now for the gold. thought Paige. |

Ashnarak shook his head quietly, he trailed Obscura, his body completely covered in black. He was unseen, and, unless some power stronger then his were to light up his aura of darkness, would remain unseen for as long as he chose. Footsteps were quiet, and he moved along behind her, watching her fight was amusing, it was all he could do to keep from laughing. The goblins would go to alarm others if she did not kill them, however, she moved on, he whispered a quiet word, and lightning forked from his hands to melt the goblin's skin. With a swift kick to both their heads, he followed her, he would take part of this treasure if it were real... The lady, from what he saw, did not have the stength to carry even a fourth of it, much less the pocket room. He teleported next to her and continued to walk with her, knowing she would see him, he spoke to her in four voices, speaking the same thing, in as deep a voice as possible. (Much like the Mouth Of Sauron if you have seen LOTR.) "You speak of treasure, little mortal, yet, from the sum it seems to be, how can you carry such a prize?" After inquiring, he reached into his sleeve and drew out a normal bag, however, it's magic would carry anything, minimizing it's weight and space. |

(OOC: ths is for all of us right?
)Lost walked up the dark pathway. She was wandering, unsure of where she was. She bit her lip, not even sure where here was. She had woken up in a tunnel and had been wandering around for quite some time. She kept her cool though, making sure to appear like she knew exactly were she was going. She absently rubbed the cat on her shoulder, feeling grateful for the company. Her cat purred and moved closer. Feeling quite lost, she became excited when she heard voices. Rounding a corner, her smile disappeared when she saw only two goblins. It took her some time to notice the woman coming up from the shadows. Finally! She was careful though. She had no idea who this woman was or her objectives. She could be used, or attacked and she wanted to have the element of surprise. Lost motioned for her cat to be quiet and peeked over the corner. The woman was fighting now, rendering one of the goblins unconsious. The other two ran off, going past her, until suddenly they stopped and fell down, their heads battered. Her eyes widened in surprise, unsure of what was happening here. Though she could see nothing, she could hear a voice speaking to the other woman now and suddenly Lost was unsure if she wanted to make contact with these people. |

Paige flicked around at the sudden emergence of the man, prepared to lash out or flinch at any sudden move the man made. At the utterance of his words, the rogue relaxed. She could tell he was probably an enemy of Dorukan - either that or he was some kind of undercover assassin that had some skill in concealing that fact that he wanted to kill her. Deciding to relax (though not completely), the woman raised an eyebrow. "That was pretty impressive, not one of the rogues from the Guild of Asyl'varim could possibly do that without the aid of magic." the rogue paused, then lied, "I'm Paige Caoimvara, enemy of Dorukan. I've been here a couple of times and got away with his gold. I know the chamber where he keeps his so called 'lesser valuables'. If you need any gold, follow me - I won't mind if you take some for yourself. I just need about two hundred thousand pieces. He has more than enough." Walking on with the man she had just put half her trust on, the woman saw a girl coming from the other side of the corridor. She had a cat on her shoulder and seemed quite harmless. Making sure her eyes didn't narrow, the woman smiled warmly. She was good at hiding her psychotic suspicions - though she couldn't blame herself for being suspicious of everyone she met. Her past has taught her never to be too trusting, no matter how innocent one might appear to be. "Good evening. What have you come here for? This is the Dungeons of Dorukan - the Archmage of the Sixth Plane they call him. We are here for a... tour." said Paige. But oh... they were here for more than that. |

OOC: What other AC's do you have? His eyes narrowed, she was lieing, he shrugged it off, people have lied to him before anyways. "How can one carry two hundred thousand coins? From judging your stature, I doubt you could carry two thousand coins, much less two HUNDRED thousand.." He told her, not sure how it was possible one could carry so much. He might be able to, with the use of magic. I guess I could help her, she doesn't seem like an assassin, just a thief... |

Lost sighed. So much for going unnoticed. The mysterious man was not showing any notice of her, so she ignored him completely. Her sleek cat began moving around, hissing on her shoulder. She grabbed Faron before he decided to attack, clutching him to her chest, hissing herself. That seemed to have made a considerable effect on him, so her grip loosened. "Hello." She said gracefully, smiling slightly. "I'm Lost. And um..lost. Do you by any chance know the way out of here. Since..you are on a tour." She shrugged. She could tell she was lying. Who would tour this place unless there was something important. She didn't know if these people were dangerous, but if they were, she might be able to handle them. Long enough to run away at least. Her tongue absently ran over her long canine teeth. If she needed to, she would bite her lip, draw some blood, then make herself crave it. It would suffice for defense as well as a good meal. She eyed the goblins. Perhaps they would be a good feeding. Since they are already dead, she could use up as much as she wanted, though she would have to be quick before the blood went bad. She hated sour blood. Inwardly, she grimaced, remembering a particularily disgusting time. How was she to know that it didn't taste good when the body was dead? She cursed the vampire who did this to her, regretting the fact that she knew nothing of vampires. |

"That is exactly why I have raided this place for years. The goblins that he pays to guard this area are pitiful really. I'm surprised he continued letting some common woman like me steal his treasures for so long without raising his defences. Though of course there is that chance that he upgraded the security around his treasury's premises." said Paige. The rogue then turned her eyes away from the man and began examining the girl. Her years of experience told her that she could trust no one, yet this girl seemed mostly harmless. Then she saw the glint of her canines... Those weren't ordinary teeth. Paige tensed. If this vampire tried to feed on her, she would make sure that she wouldn't go down without a fight. "You should know better than to stray away from home dear. This place is dangerous, especially to those who do not follow truly follow the laws of the Upper Light. I am protected by the Goddess of Night, and with my neutrality I can not be touched by many of the traps which would be triggered by those of darker souls. We will guide you out of here once we are finished with our business. You may help us, you may do nothing - but if you are a servant of Dorukan, a traitor to us, I assure you that you will an arrow between your eyes in seconds." replied Paige, her warm smile contradicting her brutal speech. Soon, Paige saw three set of runes lie in front of them. She immediately rose her arms to stop Aenarion and Lost from moving any further. Frowning, she analyzed the runes and slowly reached out and touched them. All three of them flared with golden light for a brief second when the wall on their right began to slide open. Behind it, Paige could hear the sound of growling... then chirping. They were a macabre blend. It almost sounded as if a lion was trying to immitate a bird while a bird was trying to immitate a lion's roar. Once the wall was up, the rogue widened her eyes and took several steps away from the beast. She had never seen something like this before. It had the head and body of a lion and gargantuan wings of an eagle. The rogue instinctively grapped for her bow and arrows. Taking aim, she tried to decide where to fire - find the weakest point. She couldn't - this beast seemed to have no weakness. Every patch of skin rippled with muscle that seemed to taught and well developed that any kind of arrow fire would merely bounce off. "Crap... He upgraded his defences." whispered Paige. |

Aenarion raised a brow and shrugged at her speech. He was a servant to nothing, killing the vampire and the servant of night wouldn't be hard. Hearing the stone grate, and seeing the great beast made him smile. Walking into the room casually, stepping onto a large mound of gold, he smiled. The blood elves feet didn't sink, but, when the beast move towards him, HIS did. A simple spell, burning hands, came to the lips, and his body lit a-flame, melting the gold around the beasts feet. The super heated metal surely burned him, for, he nearly fell down from the screech. Walking off the mound, passing the, the thing, he looked at 'Paige' "Hurry up, you have about two minutes before it breaks out of the gold 'shackles'." He commanded, though, almost sure they would pass up the oppurtunity, he walked around. He didn't pick up a single gold coin, nor a single jewel, though, his eyes did search for something. Reaching down, he picked up what seemed to be a dagger, though, he simply tucked it away in his belt and walked on. |

Lost didn't flinch when the great beast came into view. Aenarion didn't seem to be worried, so neither was she. Her eyes did widen when she saw the gold and jewels however. She moved over to stand beside that man when the beast's feet started..melting. After she looked closer, she saw that it was the gold melting, not it's feet. She was impressed. Her eyes wandered, spotting three jewels near her feet. One was yellow, another green and the last one blue. She quickly slipped them into her bag along with a few handfuls of gold. She felt her cat moving around on her shoulder, but payed him no attention. He meowed, jumped off her back, and started for the beast. She took a step forward, starting to run after him. "Faron no!" |
