The guardian paced back and forth along the shore. She'd provided him a means of escape. But could he make it, would he notice? Perhaps she should have tried something more, done better. Just as she was beginning to have her doubts, a wave broke the surface. With it the weretiger appeared, climbing atop the stone shelf she'd summoned. Alezra called forth a few more 'steps', hopping over them as they cut the water. Her wings were too stiff, slightly becoming coated with ice from the weather's chill. But she made it quickly to the other side, immediately turning to face the tiger. "Kael, Kael! Hang on." Leaning over and digging her claws into he stone, she'd grabbed the tiger by his neck fur. Lifting him with her teeth like a mother cat picking up a kitten, she hauled him onto the stone shelf. |
