The glass cliffs, said to be a place of healing for those with fire in their hearts. Arcaine had enough fire in her heart to go around, but that wasn't the reason she came here. Why she did, actually, Arcaine wasn't quite sure. Walking alone across the sands, the sword at her back set alight. Slightly startled, Arcaine quickly reached a hand back and drew her weapon. What? Staring at the blade, as the red-orange flames licked across it Arcaine took a chance look upwards, at the cliffs. Again her sword flared to life, as Arcaine caught sight of the most magnificent thing she'd ever seen. A phoenix. Resting at the cliff. Wanting to get closer, Arcaine ran towards the cliffs her sword tight in hand. She skidded to a sudden stop, kicking up sand. Looking at her sword again, the flame flickered once, and then disappeared. "Hm ... that's weird."

Rolk sat atop a rock taking in shallow breaths he was meditating something he had found himself doing more and more since he became guardian of fire. It allowed him to leave his body momentarally and comune with other guardian or spirits or even allow him to travel to places were fire magic is being used and watch on he had found himself enjoying this more and more. Today he had decided to come to the glass cliff hearing that it was indeed a good place for user of the magic of fire and since he was gifted with access to all fire magic why couldnt he come to such a place and enjoy it.

Presently his spirit was in the southern lands watching an apprentice fire mage learning to create fire balls at moving targets it was most amusing to Rolk and brought him back to the days when he himself had been learning to use his magic. A presence near his body brought him back to it and his eye flicked upon bright red with some fleck of orange and yellow his pupil was ovil shaped much like a lizard but at preseant his appearance was that of a human. He looked up to see in the distance Arcainea young girl he had met on one or two occasions bored and with nothing to do now that he had lost his concentration he decided to join her.

He teleported away from his location and reappeared next her as she was looking at her sword and saying "Hm ... that's weird." he smiled as preseantly she handn't seen him and in a funny mood today he prodded her shoulder and said "Boo," to see if he could scare her.

Arcaine jumped slightly, having not even heard the fire guardian as he appeared behind her. As she took a jump back, she turned only to see someone who was an ally rather than an enemy. "Heya Rolk." It was a surprise to see him here, and quite the coincidence too. Putting her sword away she shifted her weight to stand evenly once more and watched the guardian for a few moments. "Whatcha doing around here? Not following me are ya?" She grinned, that same slightly crooked little smirk of hers. The little wyvern that had been seen before was still perched ever present at the girl’s shoulder, and just like last time, it was comfortably asleep with its tail curled about Arcaine’s neck. It yawned slightly at the commotion, but went back to sleep and so Arcaine pretty much ignored it.

From my blade, you shall know judgement.
Sidarthas Monotheril, Joyriding Paladin, had some exploring to do. Riding his great black dragon, Kenji, he was cruising over the whole of the Land of Avalon. Passing near the Glass Cliffs of the Pheonix, Sid noticed a woman attempting to scale the cliffs, probably trying to get to the Pheonix, with what seemed to be the Guardian of Fire.

Flying close, Sid jerked the reins so he was hovering next to the two.

"You need a ride up? What business do you have with the Pheonix", inquired Sid.

Rolkinar chuckled slightly as she jumped back away from him at his random appearance, it was amusing to see to see the young girl jump back as though afraid of him. Rolkinar stood there next to her it would look almost normal to the untrained eye as he himself in his human form only looked a year or two older than Arcaine and so it would might appear as though they were friends though really the blonde haired guy to her said was about 375 times older than her…amusing really.

"Heya Rolk," she said Rolk smiled and nodded it was rare that anyone called him Rolk these days, back when he was in charge of the Dragon Riders all his friends called it him, but Rolk didn’t have many friends the majority of them died when Dron’Taka his home city was destroyed. Recently Rolk had found out that in fact it wasn’t destroyed merely taken out of this dimension he had oft wondered since if any of his friends were still alive.

"Whatcha doing around here? Not following me are ya?" asked Arcaine Rolk laughed slightly again “I technically wasn’t here till you disturbed me I left my body and went on a wander of Avalon, tis most interesting what you can find out what’s going on in Avalon, without your body.” he replied. Watching the small wyvern move round her neck he thought of Seratool his friend who was currently riding the thermals in the distance somewhere.

Rolk heard a nearby nose and turned about to see a human approaching them on a black Dragon, Rolk looked upon him with distaste as he noted the reigns the man used to fly the Dragon, it was nothing but a pet. The man came towards them and hovered near them Rolk gazed upon the human riding his pet "You need a ride up? What business do you have with the Pheonix" asked the man. “I can fly!” replied Rolkinar knowing the man was talking to Arcaine not him.

They’re not actually scaling the cliffs. Just standing at the bottom of them and Arcaine was sorta just looking up =)

"I think I'd much rather just stay with my body at all times." Giving a light nod, she laughed slightly. Arcaine wasn't much good with understanding things such as meditation and spirits leaving the body and whatnot. She was about to say something else too, when out of nowhere a large black dragon appeared and a person riding on the creature back started asking questions. Arcaine was again startled, of course any human would be, particularly a young girl, when a dragon just appears out of virtually nowhere.

She stumbled backwards, muttering a brief curse before realizing that it was not some huge black thing just attacking but a man seated upon a dragon. Arcaine couldn't fathom actually riding one of the things, she found far too much respect in the creatures to ever think about using them as a steed. As she got a handle on the situation, she coughed lightly, and stood to brush sand from her clothing. The wyvern had been startled by the girl’s sudden motion and had wrapped its tail tightly around her neck to keep form falling. Arcaine managed to pry the wyvern's tail loose and held the creature aloft by its tail as she continued to fling the sand form her pants leg. The reptilian creature was not harmed by the manner in which the girl was holding him because the wyvern had a strong tail, like most of its race was notorious for. Even if it was still just a baby, a near infant by all accounts.

After catching her breath from being near strangled by the young wyvern, Arcaine gave an annoyed sigh and crossed her arms in front of her. "Ya know you could be a little more polite about it. Just practically landing on two people in conversation and butting in asking questions of them isn't exactly the example of manners." She was, of course, talking to the man who had just landed before them with his dragon. And Arcaine didn’t quite appreciate someone asking her what her business was when they hadn’t even introduced themselves or anything.

OoC: Sid was hovering, Wolfe. I'll go along with it, though.

IC: Sid had just landed his dragon when the woman spoke.

"Ya know you could be a little more polite about it. Just practically landing on two people in conversation and butting in asking questions of them isn't exactly the example of manners."

"My apologies", replied Sid, dismounting and bowing to her in respect, "I should have told you to step back before landing." Sid didn't feel that now was a time for sarcasm, as he used it too much. Deciding to be polite, he turned to Rolkinar.

The Lord of Dragons himself, exclaimed a voice inside his head. This was obviously Kenji, as the two communicated through a telepathic bond that was forged between the two. Sid turned to see that Kenji had sank into a bow himself, directed at Rolkinar.
