Bertram sat there stearing out to sea stop a rock, he had been here for most of the day watching the tides change, watchign as great seafearing vessels came and went. He also witnessed a socerer levitating over the ocean to get to there inteded destination this had amused Bertram slightly but also saddened him as he missed the councel of his courts wizard Hereldus, he missed his realm so much and wished he had stayed dead or at least to now why after 5000 years he was suddenly living again. He let out a sigh and knew that it would be best to move soon as his bottom was starting to ach and his stomach was starting to growl like a ravenous dragon. That though brought Bertram back to the day when he had slayed his first dragon to by fully ordained as a Knight his parents had been so proud of him, as he was one of the youngest ever to do so at the age of 17. |

Shanoni was also watching the wonderfull ocan, its beautiful waters the colors of blue and green came and went gently apon the white sanded beach.. Glossy blue eyes closed as Shanoni inhaled the deep aroma of the ocean, she smelt somthing else also..It was a creature, she opened her eyes and shifted her head towards the scent. It was a man sitting atop a rock that overlooked the ocean, smiling to herself Shanoni opened her smoth silklike wings and flew over towards the man. her feet touched the cold rock beside her as she stood by his side "Beautiful isnt it? she asked her voice smooth and flowing like warm water running down a gentle creek... |

Bertram lifted his head slowly and looked up at the Angel they seemed so common these days were ever you looked there was an angel what had happend to the times when they stayed in the heavens untill they were needed under dire circumstances, Bertram just did not understand this world that he had been brought back into. "You know fair lady, that this will be the first sun set i have seen in 5000 years!" he said letting out a sigh as beautiful as the now setting sun was it just raised further questions in his mind who brought me back, what am i doing back, when will i know, where am i to go. It was just all so confusing and didnt make sense to the knight he was a warrior a noble and nothing more so why had he awoke 5000 years after being killed. |

Shanoni's slender brows lifted an some sort of awh "5000 years, may I ask why it tis to be your first in 5000 years?" her asked her voice kind and calming..A gentle ocean breeze blew by them Shanoni inhaled the crisp ocean aroma and sighed slightly as her silvery hair flutter slightly in the wind..5oo years is truely a long time, I wonder how he could miss a sunset like this in that great amount of years... She asked herself as she tuckered her silvery hair gently behind her ears.. |

The Angels lifted her eyebrows and asked "5000 years, may I ask why it tis to be your first in 5000 years?" he smiled slightly of course this was something that she would not understand hell he didnt even understand it himself it was all confusing, he should not be here not just at the cliffs but here in avalon itself he should be dead yet here he was breathing, walking about, living! Bertram remained his eye contact with the angel "why my lady, this is the first sunset i have seen in 5000 years because..." he began looking back towards the setting sun which had now almost gone below the horizan. "I have been dead for those 5000 years!" he finished off. |

He smiled as she told him her name "Shanoni!" he repeated "such a pretty name for such a pretty Angels such as yourself," he replied she then agreed to a walk with him and took his hand. "My name is rather a bit more brutish i suppose!" he said with a slight chuckle as they began to walk a winding path around the cliffs "it is Bertram, my lady," he continued. |
