Arcaine was aware of the fire burrowing; spreading throughout her. It was a most odd experience, something she had never felt before. Arcaine found it wasn't anything to be worried about though. Even if she was most definetly confused, she was never scared. Not by fire, anyways. Arcaine felt sort of odd at first, a certain warmth shifting through her. It was different from ordinary fire, though it was ...almost lighter ... comforting. Arcaine didn't reflect on this anymore though, as Seth told her to stand. Standing, she quickly looked herself over. Again she was slightly confused, but took a step forward anyways. Her own sword held loose in one hand, Arcaine took a moment to study Seth too. She didn't really understand his words and yet ...she did. Her own sword now looking relatively weak in comparision to the white sword Seth left for her, Arcaine sheathed it for the time being. ...Yes...One cannot exist without the other. |

"Yet in both existing they do oppose one another with such a force that time and again the largest forces of these two properties must clash with more force than the entire heavens. With every clash so much is lost in the darkness, and more is revealed by the light. Never can either of these forces win. For without one the other cannot exist. An endless battle from to immortal souls that infest ageing bodies." Setharoth said, his voice lowering with every word. He turned away and leapt into the air above the crater. He soared up into the sky, his enormous wings blotting out the pallid sun. He looked down and could see Arcaines glowing form still on the ground. The wind whipped up from the south and blew a cold wind through the volcano's many cracks and caves. The lava beneath the earth stirred and rose. Through the layers of cracked skin the earth would bleed again with the clashing of light and dark. She would cry also, for the ridiculous bickering between the two entities. Had they not yet learnt to co-exist as the symbiote that they were designed to be. The black fire dripped from Setharoth's hellish armoured form. It fell towards the craters ash laden floor where it burned without fuel. It thrived on life itself. Which is why it fed on light, the giver of life. Wich is why Setharoth hovered in the sky, blooting out the light and giving way to darkness. Wich is why he waited for Arcaine to bring him back down... |

((Sorry it took so long to reply. ...I failed a math test, so I lost my computer <_<)) Arcaine never would've thought that her aimless wandering would bring her to something like this. It was, odd; confusing, but Arcaine said nothing. She took the sword of white fire, holding it at one side. ...immortal souls that infest ageing bodies. The statement seemed a bit cryptic in some way, but Arcaine understod it, strangely enough. Glancing up at the darkening sky, Arcaine felt the need to fight. The dark took away life, and the light gave life. How could they coexist like that? Arcaine didn't know, she'd never thought about things like that before. Bringing the sword in front of her, Arcaine brought it in an upwards slash that sent white fire in Setharoth's direction. She had to bring him down. |

The white fires hurtled towards the black armoured form. They struck and were eaten by the darkness. "YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY HARDER THAN THAT PARIAH!" He roared down. Spinning an orb of death flames in front of him he sent it back in retaliation to the white fires that were thrown at him. "This is to be done in the sky..." He said softly. |

Arcaine unconciously took a small step back as white fire was consumed by the black. All this was strange, and a bit scary, though Arcaine would never admit it. She gave a quick nod to herself. Allright, then. She would try harder, now. Spinning the sword in one hand, Arcaine jumped back at the black orb of flame tossed in her direction. Without realizing it she also hovered a few feet off the ground. |
