The Land of Avalon is a freeform medieval/fantasy roleplaying site loosely based on Arthurian lore. Mein Herz brennt Posts: 6 Group: Elder Member #1,648 Joined: April 12, 2005 Gender Female Name Arcaine Wolfe Race Human Age 19 Class Pyrokenetic Profession Protector of Avalon Alignment Chaotic Good Member Name Carter	Arcaine hadn't expected the phoenix to leave it's nest and try to attack again. She'd thought just their leaving would be enough to get it to settle back down again. Arcaine didn't see what the firebird was so upset over. It wasn't like there had been any eggs or baby phoenix(es) in that nest. Arcaine guessed the bird was just territorial or something. She eventually made it to shore. Arcaine wasn't the best swimmer. For the moment her sword was pretty much useless, being wet from the little swim. Any fire Arcaine might have tried to use would have probably just fizzled out. After catching her breath (which too a little bit), she could only sit on the beach and watch the man fight off the phoenix.
