In the exact center of the 'Desert Of The Lost Souls', there is an oasis. It is called a mirage by some, but by those who manage to find it, it is ... heaven. It's so very different from the desert surrounding it. There are forests, rivers, even plains in this oasis. Animals of all kinds, many of which aren't even seen living in the rest of Avalon, make their lives here. Unicorns, dragons, and it was once claimed that there were mermaids swimming in one of the many lakes in the oasis. However the most sought-after creature that was said to live here, has yet to be seen. A shadow of the being was seen once, and descriptions are sketchy. There are warnings placed about the oasis, of caution to anyone who might think to do harm to this place. If anyone so much as tries to catch one of the rare fauna that thrives here, they will surely be attacked by the guardian of this place. What is the guardian though? No one knows. A most rare creature, the only evidence she (yes, she) has left behind were a set of paw prints. The front like a big cat's and the back like a canine's. It is certain that these prints come from the same creature, such is the gait. But what the guardian is exactly, has yet to be determined.

The Temple of the Wind is located in the Southern Cloudsweep Peaks inside a Basin. The surrounding region holds a number of towns among the lush wilderness that inhabits the area, waterfalls and natural wonders are abundant. Running right through the center of the Basin is the Canyon of Storms, insurmountably deep it is said that the land was ripped up into the skies above by some ancient magic. This isn't much of a stretch due to the numerous floating islands which manage to stay aloft high above it. The Canyon is riddled with strong winds and is made home by countless species of birds, as well as elementals who wander it and the surrounding area. Somewhere at the bottom is said to lay the source of these strong air currents. There are very few steady areas around the Canyon, but one holds the Temple of the Wind.

The temple lies in the deepest and most abandoned parts of the Fallen Paradise, where the once glorious floating castle in the sky existed. Where the greatest monuments lie ruined would the temple’s entry emerge. The first level would be a rather large mountain range, sprouting forth with rock as hard as iron and as sharp as the sword jagged all around. In the center, the tremendous, constantly flowing volcano could be seen. From its tip many a dark cloud would billow, the smoke covering the lands around it for miles, and casting the sky in a natural dark tint. The lava that flowed would not erupt violently, but instead would cover the base of the mountain in an apparent moat of lava. To those not attuned with the art of the flame, simply gaining access to the long, winding path would be nearly impossible. However, if one succeeds in defeating the flames blocking the path throughout the mountains, one will find themselves with a system of caves unlike any other. They litter the volcano’s hide, and are all randomized, meant to confuse intruders. Only those that follow the guardian or are excellent in wielding flame itself could decipher the path that lead towards the steaming center; the rest would fall prey to the many trap rooms, which fed them straight into lava. The path leads to a metallic elevator floating in the center, and once it senses life enter, the magic coursing through it will power the elevator to move downwards slowly. Now, the true test occurs; all intruders will roast under the influence of the hot lava, whilst those there with a purpose will feel a simple cool breeze pass by them as their vessel penetrates the searing flames. After a long and slow descent however, they arrive at a hollow, giant cave. It is here that the temple can found, alongside a small city of buildings and other attractions the guardian founded.

Knowing first hand the devastation wrought onto previous shrines, upon his ascension, the current guardian cast an island adrift so that it may never be found in the some place twice. The Water Shrine is located upon this small island eternally surrounded by a dense fog. This fog marks the border of safety, for within its outer reaches sea-serpents and similar mythical beasts of the deep lie in wait, while in the shallower waters a corral reefs support many rare and unique creatures of water while posing a hidden danger to any ship. Only a follower can enter safely and unhindered, as the waters seems to rise to meet them, caring them safely over the hidden hazards. Under the centre most lake of the island is an ice dome cavern, accessible from both above and below the island via a number of ice covered tunnels constantly flooding and draining with the tides. Within this dome rests the true shrine, equally touched but the Guardian's protective nature.
