The Sanctuary is by far the largest and most extensive part of the Temple. A single road leads up to it from the nearby villages, the entrance is adorned by a rather plain archway and the building seems to lack any sort of gates. It is built on the largest and most sturdy edge of the Canyon and consists of three levels. The ground level is the biggest and holds nearly every quarter imaginable for people to live or at least be made comfortable in. Commons, sleeping quarters, and an eating hall are the largest sections, but it also includes the baths which are supplied by fresh water from the surrounding mountains and heated in an unknown fashion. It also contains the main hall, which is where most worship or business goes on, and a small stable. The upper level consists entirely of a massive and largely open aviary. It is so roomy in fact it wouldn't be a stretch to even fit a very large dragon inside of it. The lower level is dug down into the rock and consists of small library and training quarters, the most interesting is the large set of balconeys which crop out of the canyon wall and allows a visitor to overlook the entire majesty of the Canyon.

Connecting to the Sanctuaries' main hall by a bridge over the Canyon leads one to a single pillar in the middle of the gorge. The building is circular and open, columns built on a strong foundation support a ring which runs around the top. Inner staircases allow one to enter the center where several large openings can be found and strong updrafts can be felt standing only a small distance from them. These powerful currents act as 'launch pads', anyone who steps on them will be sent to a corresponding floating island, where a smaller but similar structure will allow them to return to the "Stairs" again. Most of these islands have nothing of note other than acting as meditation or open training areas, though the primary opening sends a traveler to the central and largest isle.

This is the largest of the floating isles. It contains a smaller copy of the "Stairs" for return, but is largely noted for the well developed paths and various shrines along it. It is unclear what most of them are for, but offerings to the elementals or local wildlife is obvious for at least a few of them. The rest appear to be unused or neglected. There are a number of rest areas, and at least a few buildings where people make their homes and choose to live away from the Sanctuary, either permanently or temporarily.
