Gramarye

Regular Forum Dunil Orith
Dunil Orith is the bridge linking Fincayra and Gramarye at the south-western tip of the island; a truly magnificent structure of mossy, roughly-hewn granite. Approaching ten miles in length, the Western Bridge is a favourite spot for fisherman of Heynnart, which lays at its eastern end. The bridge passes high over the briny waters, but every so often along its length can be found a stair leading down to the arches beneath. Approximately halfway across is a guard house, and a resting point for travellers, although it is often empty, as it has been many long years since there was any need to watch the bridge, being that both sides are quite safe.

The merry town of Heynnart is the gateway to Gramarye. Song is always in the air and food and drink flow freely; most of the people here have crossed from Fincayra at one time or another and have no idea of the perils that lay in the lands beyond. Still, the people of Heynnart are good-hearted and kind folk, mostly humans, who specialise in artistic pursuits. There are also a good many shops and stalls stocking supplies for all the adventurers who pass through this place hoping to venture Tirnag Mell or the Tower of Vathegis.

The smell of the sea is thick in this place. A hamlet of only a few tens of houses, right on the cold and harsh coast, the residents have little to do with outsiders. They are self sufficient, utilising fishing boats to feed themselves and have no services for the weary traveller; even their arms are closed when it comes to them. The small stretch of sand between them and the sea is littered with large insect wings and harpy feathers, as the inhabitants of the nearby islands occasionally wander here in search of food or victims - but are invariably dispatched by the few elite hunters that protect the village.

Regular Forum Morngram
A city stricken with hidden conflict, Morngram is a grand and old place, with its lichen-choked stonework and perpetually grey weather, which pre-dates even the Avalonian capital - and long has it been a centre of trade. Seeing goods and travellers from all corners of Gramarye, and with the river Shaen flowing through its heart (Which often plays host to fantastic and unusual ships from foreign climes), the population is very diverse. Diverse also are the factions which vie for control with each day passing; although the city watch manages to subdue violent altercations for the most part, the political landscape here is rather hazardous. The representatives of the Fincayran royalty often struggle to stave off revolutions and anarchy, usually instigated by the Old Guard of those retainers loyal to the line of Veiden, which originally ruled over these lands.

Dotted throughout the sprawling city can be found many reminders of Morngram's military history. Forts and towers built for the purpose of defending against the wild, strong creatures which roam the lands hereabouts, and a number of castles. Though, these are most all now quarters for one of the guilds that call the capital their home, including the enigmatic Psionics' Guild and the Church of the Creator.

The 'Big Brother'. Dalruan has long been the home of dwarves of a more friendly sort than most; its great halls, hewn from the living rock deep in the heart of the mountain, openly welcome visitors of all kinds. The underground city is renowned for its exceptional smiths, many of whom run businesses in the central bazaar area, alongside other traders and merchants who have come to rely on the visitors they attract. Dwarven homes and communal halls are strewn throughout the area, as well as an unusually large number of pubs. These are all linked together by an intricate network of tunnels.

The 'Little Brother', situated in the shadow of Dalruan. This place does not serve as a permanent home for dwarves, rather it is riddled with many mines, some new, others ancient. The mountain is rich with valuables of many kinds - silver, gems and the like - but they are not easily accessed by outsiders. Most all of the mines are well-guarded (Dwarves are rather protective of their treasures), and those that are not have long since been stripped of all their worth. A few of these tunnels, dug in ancient history, even reach so far down as to connect with the caves of Tirnag Mell far beneath the earth.
